I love it! I've been following April Story and she is a super sized block quilter. These large blocks definitely give options to those who aren't into piecing a lot.
Teancut, what a great idea! I am not too good with math so this looks manageable yet unique in its simplicity. It looks so simple and may just be the pattern I use to create a quilt for a friend of mine. I like the idea of a series of “one block wonder” quilts. Thank you for the pattern and for the comic relief too in those silly edits.
Love it! Tiny Orchard does have a Giant Log Cabin quilt pattern that uses fat quarters. I think it is of comparable size, but the “logs” are smaller. 😊

Love this quilt! It looks so modern and the colors are gorgeous. Two questions: any way to make this block into a rectangle? And when backing with kinky, do you also use batting in the middle? Watching you quilt it was interesting and the quilt looked thick, so I thought it had batting in it. But did it? Thanks for all the videos. Very informative and fun to watch.
I would like to know if there is a pattern for the quilt that is on the wall behind you? And nice job on your block, you are very entertaining to watch. You do a great job explaining how to manage this project as you go. This would be very useful for someone new to quilting, it would, in my opinion take the fear out of someone's learning experience. I am sure you have heard more people than you can count say, oh I could never do that. To those people I say, you can do anything. The only trick is that you have to want to do it. The rest is a cake walk. Nice work on your channel as well, you all put up a great deal of content, in fact, I don't know how you do it. I think that out of all the channels that I watch you guys put up the most videos, keep up the good work. Tracy

I love your quilt ...but you are teaching newbie habits. An open seam is a weak seam, measure with a good ruler not the lines on the mat.... after 35 years of quiltings... I know what happens to those open seams.

Hey, I was using a Bernina in the video but I’m stitching over to a handiquilter at the beginning of The month, I like both machine but the handiquilter that I’m getting is bigger, but a 20 inch handiquilter with computer/robotics is around 20k Let us know if you have any questions!
