- This video shows a kestrel nesting. The kestrel's nest is on a house in the city. A kestrel incubates eggs, brings prey and feeding chicks. Two of them died, and the other chicks ate them. One from hunger and the other from unknown reasons. The kestrel feeds its chicks mainly with small lizards. There were also birds, insects and a few rodents.

The common kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) is a bird of prey species belonging to the kestrel group of the falcon family Falconidae. It is also known as the European kestrel, Eurasian kestrel, or Old World kestrel. In the United Kingdom, where no other kestrel species commonly occurs, it is generally just called "kestrel".
This species occurs over a large range. It is widespread in Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as occasionally reaching the east coast of North America. It has colonized a few oceanic islands, but vagrant individuals are generally rare; in the whole of Micronesia for example, the species was only recorded twice each on Guam and Saipan in the Marianas.

It's Not survival of the fittest. All eggs laid, hatched on different dates. All chicks equal in size, All healthy. The most aggressive chicks get the most food. Always. If nothing is left, the others starve. They're not sick, they're starved. Very common in raptor nests. The further apart the hatch dates, the last hatched rarely survive in large clutches.
6:08 - Poor thing. The smallest one took the lizard, but seems too weak to swallow the whole and got snatched by its siblings. If the smallest one ate it, maybe it would make it and stay alive...for alittle while, I guess...

There was a dead bird on the floor that they were supposed to eat but they were too dumb to eat it and want to be spoon fed.

It's eat or get eaten. Survival of the fittest etc. Shame how they pretty much only have lizards to eat tho not mouses or many other birds. Mother seems a bit skinny aswell.
The kestrel feeds its chicks mainly with small lizards. There were also birds, insects and a few rodents. When female fed chicks with mice and birds, she blocked the view of the camera with herself.

El mayor obtuvo la ventaja en cuanto se comio a la primer lagartija completa practicamente aprobecho todos los recursos y dejo a los mas pequeños sin nada lo que provoco que la segunda lagartija que fue otorgada al pequeño este no tuviera la fuerza para comersela de una como si lo hizo el mayor que no sufria por falta de alimento despues de eso y que la madre muere solo era cuestión de tiempo para que los demas murieran por inanición y de hecho el menor no habia muerto cuando sus hermanos comenzaron a comerselo, se dieron cuenta de que ya no tenia fuerza ni energias para continuar y aprovecharon sus nutrientes se puede ver como se lo comen con los ojos abierto y moviendo las patas.

That first hatched kept growing, and snagging all the food... At 7:50, it looks like it got impatient and just ripped its smaller sibling up, didn't wait for it to die, just ripped its head off...

Last to hatch, smallest chick. Other birds got fed and pushed smallest chick away. Wasn't sick, weak from no food and the other birds stampede to eat, shoving others aside. Small weak chick doesn't get fed, now starving, too weak to stand up, getting pecked to death.

No bro entre ellos el mayor se quedó con la mayor parte de la comida de hecho el pequeño tuvo la oportunidad de alimentarse bien pero le quitaron la comida y ya no después se quedó sin fuerzas y si te das cuenta el más chico no murió de inanición los otros se lo comieron mientras seguía vivo y censuraron el sonido en esa parte para no escuchar los chillidos
