As far as I understood she needs a buff, because they killed support damage output and in the future they will continue to lower support damage and increase utility, healing and shielding. Support mages will also bee nerfed into the ground making them unviable.
They only buffed her utility nothing about damage. People played her for the R+Q poke with malignace. This won't affect her much. (Old Karma main)

I was having fun with rell jungle but was it the greatest? Hell no but I do like characters wth lances and I'm more a jungler so it allowed me to play her in that role it just sucks mainly

League patches are every 2 weeks and they go live on Wednesdays every time

This patch is a proof that Riot hates ADCs (as if we needed any more). One patch of Static being good (more importantly bruisers and assassins can't abuse it), and it's nerfed. Sundered Sky does exist Riot..

I hope they rethink the Rell jungle removal. She's fun if not niche and certainly not broken, but somehow things like Brand jungle are apparently okay. It's baffling and unneeded, especially for those of us who actually play her there.

Just a total of 10% Bonus AD Ratio to Kayn's Q is such a small compensation for reducing his ult's Bonus AD Ratio from 175% down to 150%, while locking him out from using active items such as Profane Hydra.. I was expecting more..
I’ve left league for a while and came back. Why does riot put things like brand morgana and zyra jungle in game but take out (from what I remember) things like sett panth camille pyke and rell?

i really wonder what goes on inside riot's balance team's heads... has it always been like this? i've been playin' for like 3-4 years now and it's the most cringe thing to see them buff a champion one patch, gut them the next one...

I suppose they don't seem to balance the champions the way they intend to, u can clearly see a couple patches back when smolder, vayne and tf were pick or ban, and they were op at both top and bot
Add the fact that they have a limited amount of play testers to see the results of their adjustments before sending it downrange to the live servers for millions of people to play and mess with.
They only have a 2 week time period to Figure out whats broken and patch it accordingly. Mistakes are bound to happen.

i may not be in the balance team but i'd rather have a champion with CLEAR weaknesses and counters than gettin' my champion glorified one patch and gutted the next one just cos it did 'way too good' against one/a few certain champions. like, it even happens with items. they give random, sudden, outta nowhere buffs to items (THAT WERE BOUND TO MAKE SAID ITEM UTTERLY BROKEN- i.e., duskblade's invincibility) and then gut the whole item except for what broke it to begin with, until they ultimately destroy/replace/remove the item completely.
i don't know, things don't have to stay constantly shiftin'. that's terrible game design and management, in my humble opinion.
This rell nerf is just dumb, champions is really cool to see doing jg, playing like a sejuani. Was the wr too high?
Also why can morgana be a jungler but engage champions are mostly locked in support

I think i like the shiv nerf. Even as adc main. I like to play champs like sivir and cait. And i lowkey feel alot of their strengths fade when every adc can buy shiv and oneshot waves like sivir and cait.

Reksai nerf ☹️ but i loved infinitely healing in mid lane
Nami changes will probably be a nerf in higher elo, but neutral for lower ranks, so given they're nerfing Mandate in the same patch (but also because of that, not nerfing Janna as if she isn't equally broken with other builds, good job Riot) she'll probably dip in power.
The reason it is so bad in higher elo is it kills E max so you no longer have any somewhat reliable setup for bubble in your kit outside of ultimate, which won't matter as much in lower ranks since people don't dodge it as easily. Idk what direction they'll go long term but they don't seem to want to nerf her so there will probably be follow up at the very least as compensation for Mandate nerfs.
Been using E Max for a long time with good results. Maybe not kill the whole strat, but right now will be better to rush AP on Nami, all the possible flat AP and go back to W bouncing.
@@Shikadi01 a 25% nerf to E damage is really going to hurt, idk that seems like it's enough to outright kill it.

Can't wait for all of the Jungle Rell players to hop on after the patch and lock her in because barely anyone even reads patch notes then wonder why their damage is so low in the jungle.
Riot needs to force the patch notes to pop up when a new patch launches and have players have an OK button at the bottom showing they at least seen it.

Rell herself has garbage damage (always has even before her mini-rework), even for a tank champion. The reason she has the crazy damage mods she does vs Monsters is to make up for that. But that ended up giving Support Rell really random bonus monster damage too as a result.
It was a project I was hoping they'd give up on, and they finally did. Now they don't need to adjust her with jungle in mind anymore,

This is the most fun season I've had playing support, hopefully they stop nerfing the shit out of it.
Malz, corki, and tons of other champs are in a bad spot… let’s buff karma and gut the support role completely. Funny enough this makes the bot lane even more of a coin flip. So either you get the hyper fed bot lane or two turbo feeders. Hilarious

This game never was in balance since season 3. Every patch Riot make is correcting their own mistakes in last patch. In 14.8 we will see again Karma nerf, because in 14.7 Karma buff was wild and etc. They buffing and nerfing their own mistakes for 10 years already

Support in 2024 be like - well your 2 levels behind by default, lowest base move speeds, almost no mobility, lowest gold in the game, can't build 5th item, gold drops off huge after lane, gold income punished for catching waves. Riot= "we're nerfing your gold, buffing other lanes xp, nerfing your support items dmg. Supports were actually being impactful, doing damage, and not just getting one shot by literally everything, so we fixed that" WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO PLAY THIS ROLE ANYMORE RIOT HATES YOU? The role is literally dominated by champions that failed at their intended roles and has been for years.
Yeah, I wish they would have at least waited another patch to see how badly the gold/exp nerfs effected supports. It’s really just been nerf after nerf after nerf every patch to everything people said made the new support items enjoyable. Also, fuck riot for making Vigilant Wardstone only playable on fat supports.

So? ADCs auto attacks should be skillshots or remove crit entirely from the game but make it deal a small max health % damage. One auto attack shouldn't be able to deal more damage than an entire mages combo combined.
