- When steam engines were finally forbidden to run on British Rails after 1967, the diesels came in and revolutionised everything casting out the old and replacing it with the new.
But, many steamies were not going down without a fight, and some were lucky enough to found a new home just in time.

When I heard Jimmy the Jinty characters mentioned, I was like "OMG!"
Also, brilliant and emotional special! Everything like the action, suspenseful and emotional moments are written very well in this that really matched the tone of the end of steam and how the steam engines are going through, fighting their way to escape to Sodor, NRM, and Bluebell Railway. I also like your custom Rebecca (in her original SR Brunswick Green).
For the cast members, they did fantastic with their performances. I cracked up when Harrison explained to everyone of Crovan and the latter saying "HEY!"

Actually, in the first special, Murdoch still wanted everyone to be quiet, before Joseph died
Perhaps it’s more so because of Joseph’s death,
what if joseph isn't dead there could be a chance he is still alive
This is one of the best fan projects I have very seen. This is truly amazing and everyone who voice acted for this did a fantastic job.
Just finshed watching the movie, absolutely loved it. Sad for Joseph.

In scene in 37:22 jinty mention names from jimmy the jinty series which I love that you decided to place as a Easter egg or a cameo or what ever you call it man this just makes things better knowing jinty in your series is the same jinty from jimmy the jinty man that’s a great idea
I enjoyed voicing as Jimmy and Luca in this! Hope we get a sequel to this!

Okay, not even gonna lie, that was a gut-punch. I love the Jimmy The Jinty series and to hear that all of those brilliant characters were all gone was awful to hear.
This wasabsoultly beautiful, after the 1963 special I was so exicted for a follw up, and this was better than the first. This really impressed me and really showed how sad scrap was. You sir have done a fine job and because of this you earned yourself a sub, Fantastic work !!!
when the diesels took the steamies to the scrap yard the song was from the movie Toy Story 3

Spectacular film mate. Every thing was top notch, the sets, lighting, script and VA's. Idk why but 27:14 had me in stitches.
Great job on this sequel. It was heartbroken, sad, and beautiful, I really find it better then the first film (1963). I hope you make a third film, we like to find out what happened to Serena and Nickolas and we find out how the engines are setting in to their new homes (or railways in this case XD) Also R.I.P to Michael Angelis.

This was amazing!
A complete worthy successor to the predecessor, it does it's job better than JBS HISB. Plus, i wasn't expecting Geoffrey to be an anti-hero.
Murdoch and Green Arrow making their escape on Joseph's sacrifice got Toy Story 3 music and very intense. Jimmy also had to sacrifice himself for Luca.
There's a lot of dramatic arguments, involving Jinty against Jonathan and Nickolas with Harrison (I hope Nickolas will be safe)
I just hope Nickolas and Serena are going to not be found :(
It's also ironic how both engines are named after the users.
I loved Neville, Murdoch, Arthur and Stepney's portrayal then what the model era did with them. I still like Rosie's current portrayal and her portrayal in this. It gives a hint to what her livery is in the franchise.
And, the end where Frankie is attempting to slave engines that she wants to keep at The Steelworks is a great turn out, on how before she manipulated and imprisoned the NWR No.1 Thomas into sorting out the work, making him a victim.
Will the final story of the year arc be around soon in the summer?

this isn't the best film you made................this is the most OUTSTANDING film you done. And kinda a great way to end may. My favorite part is at 28:58 - 31:12. And the smelter's set is amazing. well done

@@onetrackmind3558 yeah, anyway my speculation is that days in the sun will be about the engines lives on their railways, the engine I'm most looking forward to seeing is Murdoch because he was very interesting in 1969 and he could have great interactions with the other engines such as Mallard, we could also get an answer on what will happen too Nickolas, Serena and Harrison along with Geaffrey they're very interesting and have great potential. I also think that in a cruel irony Murdoch and Green Arrow are gonna buttheads with Alfred and Crovan.
That was just pure work right there. Phenomenal maybe. ;)

I just saw it that was amazing, Geoffrey being a double crosser, Murdoch being at the national museum, won’t last long though once evening star come in, I loved how you used Brewster’s model as a deltic, only two reference I can see in this was toy story three when they were at the scrap yard and jimmy the jinty I could rant on forever ♾, but I can’t because this would be a mile long anyways this was great and I can’t wait until next year.
Engine 87546 well you see Murdoch took the place of evening star because in the special from last year they said Murdoch was the last steam engine ever build so i think they replaced evening star with Murdoch
