The crash that killed the 2 steam locomotives happened in the U.S.A when 2 steam locomotives were pulling a passenger train when an engine named flying Scotsman got his goods train in the way causing a massive accident which made 98462 and 87546 come off the rails and made a huge flame of fire then an blue tender engine named Gordon smashed into the werckage and got his pony truck derailed and as the fire was put out by the rescue engines 246 passengers were injured and what made matters worst was that 226 passengers had died out in that terrible crash and the 2 engines who were off the rails turned into scrap.
The end crash was like Quintinshill, where a careless signalman forgot about a train parked on the main line, another train hit it, and another train hit the wreckage. The coaches were even gas lit ones like in Quintinshill!
