Es ist so schön zu sehen, daß es noch Superstars gibt, die einfach auf eine kleine Bühne gehen - ohne große Vorbereitung - sich eine Gitarre schnappen und über "normale", semi-profesionelle Technik gute Musik machen. Ohne In-ear, ohne Top-End-PA, ohne Profi-Begleitung. Außerdem singt dieser gute Mann das, was die Leute gut kennen und hören wollen! Keine Experimente, kein Standes-Dünkel, einfach nur Musik und Spaß für's Publikum und im Umkehrschluß auch für ihn, weil der Künstler (auch) vom Applaus lebt, sei er noch so bescheiden. Ich wäre gerne dabei, wenn das nochmal stattfinden sollte... Einen Bass hab ich sowieso fast immer dabei...
I genuinely think his voice is as good as or better than it's ever been. He has gained so much control and technique over the years. Even his vibrato is steadier, which can be tricky as one ages. And he still has the high notes! Love him.
Imagine when he wrote this song, before the internet and hundreds of years later there will be a lot of people watching him. this is just the start of the world being documented, every bit of it. Just remember everybody, your kids, kids kids and so on will know who you are and what you done. Everything!
