The FUD and the anger towards those of us who have purchased this thing is just downright strange. It's weird. And I bet most of the hate is from those who don't own a CT and I bet some of them have never owned any kind of truck. This is my 4th truck, my last was a F350. I'm for certain a "truck guy" and I absolutely love this thing. Great video for those freaked out about the car wash and destroying the drivetrain - not to mention a steel skin melting away lol.
Excellent educating CT owners. Also, for those owners who choose NOT to go through this mode. There's another way. Just go to controls, and select NEUTRAL (hold it down). The CT will be in free roll through the wash as well. I choose this one because its quite fast when you have folks in front and behind, and the attendant motioning you to move forward, stop, then move again onto the rollers.
All I do is hold down the mic button on the yoke, then say: 'Fold in mirrors, disable wiper, close tonneau cover.' Look up and press the N (neutral) button.
I’m sure there are different qualities car washes out there. Furthermore, the fact that it scratch the wrap doesn’t mean it would scratch the truck in my view

Don’t do it! I have 2 huge scratches on my right rear upper panel I have a wrap so it only scratched it, I repeat DONT DO IT HAND WASH ONLY
