I really thing it is not quite good just for beginners. It is for practical people. In this case I would ad 4 external pockets and have my cargo pants. I did a few for myself since I am to tall and I can't find pants easily for me. ua-cam.com/users/shortsC7OnNE3mesQ
It takes less than a half hour after the pattern is ready. In this case I would ad 4 external pockets and have my cargo pants. I did a few for myself since I am to tall and I can't find pants easily for me. I added also elastic bands at bottom of the legs. Love this and are really practical and comfortable. ua-cam.com/users/shortsC7OnNE3mesQ
Thank you so much, I can’t wait to make these for myself. The video was comprehensive and easy to follow which I find rather rare amongst most sewing videos (though that might just be me 😅) I really liked how to explained how to make the pattern and listed the measurements on the screen. Keep up the good work, definitely going to watch more of your videos to learn more 😊
Jess, you make all of your videos so easy for all of us to follow. Everything you create turns out beautiful. Who needs patterns when we have Jess? Thank you so much dear young lady. Love every new creation, keeps me busy, I have to make most every one. Most beautiful and comfy dresses, love, love, love these pants. Thank you so much!
Hi Jess! I absolutely your DIY tutorials. I struggle with the 'maths' component of sewing when drafting my own patterns so watching your videos have really helped me to understand how to apply the theory to the practical. I have still have a long way to go but I have a much better understanding now, thanks to you!
I just came across your video and so excited to try to make this pants. I already have the fabric and had the idea of what I want to make but was unsure how. You just gave me the "know how" thank you!
I loooove pants! So this DIY came right on time! I saw few videos to make you own pattern but it always seems a bit complicate. So I don't know how you do it to always come with the right DIY but you did it again and I am very grateful!! Thank you Jess I can't wait to make it !!! 💙💙
This, by far is the easiest trouser tutorial I have come across. Thanks a bunch!!! 🫰🏿🫰🏿🫰🏿 Now I will visit your channel to see if you have a tutorial for a fitted trouser.
This pattern is so easy to follow.. Thank you so much for this tutorial.. Please also make a tutorial of shirt which is loose and super comfortable to wear in summer..
Sheek and stylish all wrap up in one....this is the kind of pants i love ...its a comfortable look and i can see myself rocking this pant....another master piece....Thanks Jess👏👏👏
Hi Jess! I just met your channel and I'm already your fan! I'm Brazilian and like you, I learned to sew by myself. These pants are the second piece I make following your guidelines (the first one was the doll dress). I loved them both, they were exactly like yours, but the pants are my favorite! Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your talent! ❤️
Thanks jesss . You are a saver!! . Yesterday I stich my first pant and it came well. All thanks to you. I appreciate how carefully you explain every bit of process. Love you. My great teacher 💖😻🥰😘
i love the way you explain.. it very easy to follow im always watching your videos ,your my inspiration to create my own clothes even i have no sewing machine ,im always used my hand to follow ur creation... i wish i have sewing machine to make it faster and to help my family ....i wish iwish iwish=(
I have such a difficult time finding store-bought pants to fit me. I will definitely try this! Can you do a tutorial with a waist band and front zipper?
Have made the front pattern. Yay! Can't make out what you're saying at 5.07. Do we have to make another front to make the back from as it's already been cut out?
omg i love thissssssss ♡♡♡♡♡ I started watching your videos and thanks to them I have learned a lot, at the beginning everything was difficult for me but you are amazing to explain everything very detailed and so simple to understand. I really hope that one day you will upload a video of how to make a blazer into a corset, because it is the only thing I haven't seen in any youtube video and I have several to practice if you decide to make a video like this one day.
Omg thank you so much for this tutorial 💗, right now im making myself some hobbit esk close and I was completely stumped on what to do for the pants but this helped me so much.😁
hi Jess - thanks for this fabulous video! i am a little confused by the instructions at 3:09. the text on the video says that 10cm = 1/4 the width of the leg minus 1cm but then you say that it's *half* of the width of pants that you want, minus 1cm. is that because the total width of the pants you want is 44cm? so there is 10cm on either side of that middle point (1/4width - 1cm) for a total of 20cm? i'm confused! i also would love tips on measuring the width of the pants you want. thank you!
Beautiful video Jess the pants look amazing. Quick question, how do you come up with the calculations, like the part about hip size/10? Is the specific to your size or for every size ?
It's basically is the tailor sewing techniques that I learn myself through others around me. For some parts like hip size/10, yes it's apply for all size. It's based on the ratio of the body size to come to that calculation.
Woooow! I wished for someone making this tutorial for a looooong time! Finally there is one😁 Just one question: how can I make wide legs at the bottom?
To make the wide leg, you don't need to make the end of the leg smaller like I did. Just keep the straight line from the end of the crotch line to the end of the leg and keep the straight line at the outside line too
A great tutorial as usual Jess❤❤❤ Can you help us how to do a corset top in a simple way. The videos available are way complicated to beginners like me. Thx in advance.
