This is so sweet ❤️, sadly my 2 pups passed away last year 🥺 but then we got a offer for a puppy no one wanted just cause he had some health issues, he is so awesome and all my fam loves him.
Thanks for posting this. My dog, Shiloh, is 10 days post surgery. His walking looks so labored to me and I wanted to see how other dogs managed and if they improved. Your video gave me a lot of encouragement because Roxi was walking like Shiloh in the beginning. Thanks again.
@chloeequestrian1600 Thanks. Shiloh is doing well. He walks the best in the morning. He wants to play fetch and tug of war. In the evening he may be a little achy. I am thinking about using a leg brace in the front but probably need to consult a physical therapist. He can do stairs now but I still stay next to him because sometimes he goes too fast downwards and I want to avoid a fall. I feel he is doing ok.
My Lab may have to have her front leg amputated due to cancer, but she is 10, I am worried she is too old for it and won't cope. How old is your sweet girl? xx

I didn't think my baby would be able to wear a harness after the amputation. you have a beautiful dog.
The normal recovery time is 2 weeks, but it can be longer and you will feel bad that you had to do it for the first few days, because you can tell your dog is in pain but you should notice a great difference in there happiness once you get there staples out and then after that they should be feeling a lot better, and then after recovery time is over you should have your perfect little doggie back! The website I got the harness off is called EZYDOG, and once you get on the website search 3 leg dog harness and if you want the one I have the name of the one I have is convert dog harness but if you just search up what I told you the one I have is like the first one you see. 😊🤍

My girl today has just been getting up like every 10 minutes and turning around and laying back down and then repeating it like every 10 to 15 minutes
@@jessiemartinez1063 she usually would lay down for a few hours get up to get a drink and go outside, but after a few days they start to get up more, and how old is your dog? Because that can have some different outcomes because my dog roxi you saw in the video is 12, and she still did really good with recovery but if your dog is younger she might be more willing to move, and just so you know the stitch marks will go away and there fur comes back completely!
My old girl just had her leg amputated May 13... It's helping me a lot to see how well other dogs have recovered.

My 8 month old Baby Girl has to have her left leg amputation tomorrow because some lowlife shot her with small buckshot. Im so hurting inside.

Not really! At least I think so because they are obviously going to have some pain but it goes away quickly!

It was not that hard but when I did it because I had two people to help me but if its one person not to hard I’m pretty sure
