The first band i thought of was the '90''s band Morphine. Smoky jazz feell, slinky sax, and much whisper spoken lyrics. "You look like rain" may be the song for this conversation

For years I just thought of Rammstein as that random German band who somehow got Du Hast famous in America when I was in high school. I really had no idea how huge a band they were until the last few years when I realized they're still around

Only old Hollywood Undead can do what they did back in the day. Sleep Token, definitely not on that level but they do have some horny songs, ie Give and Sugar. Vessel literally straddles iii onstage during Sugar lol. Vessel in general also just sounds very seductive so even the songs that aren’t horny lowkey still kinda sound like it

Regarding Sleep Token, I don't care about the lore, just the music - the lore is meant to make live performances more interesting & help them stand out in a sea of other bands, imo. People connect with Sleep Token's music because the songs are about life, love, & loss. Their lyrical content ranges from depression to relationships fizzling out to sex to romance to love to sadness to lust & more. The Summoning is literally a more poetic way to talk about lusting after someone - "I've got a river running right into you. I've got a blood trail red in the blue. Something you say or something you do, the taste of the divine..........oh & my love, did I mistake you for a sign from God? Or are you really here to cast me off? Or maybe just to turn me on? Cause these days, I would be lying if I told you that, I didn't wish that I could be your man. Or maybe make a good girl bad." I'm surprised you haven't even listened to the lyrics of one of Sleep Token's most popular songs, Finn. People (mostly women I'm guessing) are sick & tired of guys being perverted & cringe in the most raunchy, cheezy ways. Men are gross everyday everywhere, so we don't need more of that in the music we hear. This was my first time hearing Hollywood Undead & that's literally some of the worst music I've ever heard. Trashy people singing about sex in trashy ways. I hope there's sarcasm in there from you in this video regarding that. It's about time we got some sexy music that ranges from light to heavy, sometimes within one song - thank you, Sleep Token. I also want to hear sad songs sometimes because it leads to a release of emotions I don't want sticking around for long periods of time. I love the contrast of light & dark, melodic & heavy - Sleep Token provides that with multiple styles meshed together & a unique voice.
Type O Negative & Rammstein have songs that sound too cheezy to really be sexy & be taken seriously.
I've listened to Deftones for years & Chino's voice can be sexy but I wouldn't categorize their music as horny.
If you want to see/hear a band that is sexy/horny with horny fans, I recommend IAMX. If you want horny music & horny fans, also listen to Lords of Acid.

Even then i met some artsy girls who liked them partially because of that and the shoegaziness. But i think with the tiktok egirl/goth and 00's music/fashion revival tons of edgy teens became exposed to their horniness and since being anything dark/edgy/emo adjacent is suddently popular and accepted they blew up.

My dad’s best friend is a friend of Michael Starr (Steel Panther singer), so anytime they’re in the Cincinnati area, we get free tickets and I have met them after the show twice, and I will say this… the music isn’t amazing but man are the guys really good people. It is for sure an actual joke band, even if the joke doesn’t normally land. Thats my take. I just see it as harmless, and making fun of the horniness of all the 80’s hair metal bands.
