Best guide indeed. I just maxed my zerker (96hp) and hit 86 slayer. Skipped a few tasks and got 126 Abby Demons in the abyss so I’m going to be taking on site for all the kills. All the other guides weren’t clear but this was spot on. You should think about making pure guides to slayer bosses as well.

Yeah you can do that. but then you're still taking the same amount of time for a rotation. You're just moving the time you go to POH to restore stats/prayer.

I like to take Magic instead of range and use blood barrage on respiratory systems so I don’t have to tele house every kill. The kills already take long so just don’t feel like taking longer on this boss.
Not really outdated but you could get faster kills per hour with less supply cost (only if ornate pool & fairy ring in house): after the first kill you kill the respiratory systems again and straight after killing the last one you teleport home. If you then run back to the East/West Sire spawn you started at (not the North ones) after using ornate pool -> fairy ring back, you will have 100% spec and have skipped the animation of sire walking down. He takes roughly a minute to reset so you use the time he takes to walk down and become attackable to reset at house. New for late 2021: Blowpipe is nerfed and using a bofa (crystal body + legs w/ slayer helmet) with the method described above nets much better results. Less downtime on resp systems because of longer range, and high hits. If you don't have this setup you can use mage (trident/sang staff) as well.
Worth noting there are abyssal bracelets that prevent you getting skulled when entering the abyss so if you are doing sire on a restricted pure or build that cannot access fairy rings without defence xp, bring 4 items with protect item prayer active at all times, don't bring anything you don't want to lose and GODSPEED.
Your guide helped me get comfortable here thank you so much! After 200kc or so, this boss is pretty braindead. Quite boring really. During the last phase I'd recommend eating food instead of barraging it'll save time. Also fang is much more consistent than Arclight. Just trying to get one last bludgeon piece the rng can be frustrating!

Stab is right but he should be using max mage with sang and not teleing to house. Idk why he’d post a vid that gives slower kph than the standard. This would have been a good guide before the new meta came out (using mage). Also you usually don’t need to smoke barrage a 2nd time if you’re using max mage.
you really don't need the ranged armor switch, at least with non BiS setups. i notice no difference in time taken to kill the vents with blessed dhide vs fighter torso + verac skirt with blowpipe + adamant darts and eagle eye, though the 2 inventory slots saved is really minor :D
Why is it sometimes on that first phase (melee phase) a poison thing spawns under me and sometimes i can just sit there and beat him with my arclight till the next phase without any spawns
Tell to poh is good for supplies but if you want just faster kills per hour I like to use magic instead of range and just heal to full before every kill on the resp systems. Top bottom occult and trident switches. Manul cast blood spells till full and finish p 1 w trident
also feel you should kill tents, kill sire and then kill tents in one trip, then tele to house and then come back and sire is waiting for you kill sire then tents, then tele.
i just commented this on another guide, but honestly I think the crystal bow is better than blowpipe. you also dont need a stam pot if using a crystal bow. i did about 550kc on my ironman with a crystal bow and I like it better than the blowpipe (if you dont have bofa)
great guide dude but sadly sire is just too much effort for the pay-out (about 1m/hour) maybe more if you use POH pool and forego the supplies but unless you really want the pet i would avoid it. It was geat on release though when dagger and bludgeon was all time high

Look at your bonuses when using the arch light please don't use stab. Also try max mage set up for respiratory system for faster takedowns.

what plugin allows you to have the hp in the middle there? im struggling to check the hp for the explosion at the end of phase 3 while moving.

Probably not.
Sire has pretty solid drop table, average kill is worth ~50k, meaning you can expect average 5-12,5m per task.

spawning the poison and the small minions are just random. There’s not set pattern for them.
