The crazy thing is that he was cheating for years, gaslit her about causing their daughter’s death, and she was still willing to forgive him IF he told her the truth. Beth-Ann had her faults but she was a good person who just wanted honesty from Rob.

To find out that not only has your husband been betraying you for years but he’s also been blaming you for the death of your child when it was actually his betrayal that caused the child’s death. To forgive his mistress for leaving the gate open, I can’t even think of a word to describe that. There is absolutely nothing he can say or do that would warrant any type of forgiveness.

Context: Beth (redhead) just came home with her child from visiting a relative and she saw that Rob (husband) had left the trashcan outside so she told her child to play in the side yard and she locked it, the secretary (brunnette) left through the sideyard and left it unlocked including the gate outside, so while Beth was doing the chores in the house she suddenly hear a loud crash and it unfortunately was her child. Rob made her think it was her fault because he didnt want to admit he cheated on her.
