Because I have gotten a lot of comments and questions about this recently... Nothing in my videos is created using Artificial Intelligence. Everything is written and voiced by me, a regular old flesh and blood human being. AI is an excellent tool that should be used as such... a TOOL to enhance a creative process, not replace it. As such, I will never use AI generative content in any of my videos. Thank you all!
Yeah some lore/fact channels are cropping up entirely done by AI So that's probbaly why so many asked. :/
what i would like to ask on that note, you really sound like the guy that voiced jaina for platinum's video. Any correlation?
I love Platinum's stuff, but no that was not me haha
@FullMotionVideos thank you so much for answering that, you have suuuuch an amazing voice that I thought it had to be someone that's getting paid for it lmao!
@@zoonisha4387 HA! I wish I was getting paid for the voiceover, it's the most difficult part for me :P But thank you for the compliment
Fun Fact, the Uther statue is also just an Arthas Statue with a beard slapped on. It's pretty clear they based the statue off of Arthas's WOTLK model.
It was so touching when reckful passed away. On Warmode people in Stomwrind were letting Horde players go and kneel in respect by the npc.
This wasn't in this video or did I miss it?
@@Progs420 It was referenced as players gathering in the cathedral to mourn, but doesn't go into detail. What happened with Reckful and his death hit a lot of people very hard.
As primarily a Horde player, I was extremely grateful for the chance to pay my respects on my main. When the WoW community comes together it's a beautiful thing. #respect
@@Icepiquevery true
Lol so weird
Brother Kristoff is probably a nod to 1990 and 2006 Pulitzer Prize awardee, Nicholas D. Kristof, who the NY Times stated wrote "columns that tackled controversial issues with frankness and fortitude." In Classic WoW Brother Kristoff offers a quest chain that starts with "Speaking of Fortitude".
Good catch!! When I eventually do an update video of secrets I missed, I will 100% mention this
Personal theory time:
The small area with the shrooms, crystals and powder may be an elder scrolls reference. The crystals found on the table are have the ingame model of moonstone, which is most likely a reference to Moon sugar from Elder Scrolls. The powder/grain may be a reference to powdered moon sugar, which is then processed into Skooma, a highly addictive drug.
The area is hidden because it's a spot where illegal drugs are being produced or traded.
At least that's my theory.
That's a super cool idea! I am changing my personal headcanon to this
I always thought it was a drugs thing. Like they grounded up crystals as a powder and sold them in bags.
A rogue class quest also leads you to the Finest Thread shop in classic to get a spool of light chartreuse silk! Great vid as always :)
Thanks for the correction! It's so hard to find a complete compilation of info like this out there haha
waiting on some sort of lore video including Ol’ Emma‘s background, I’m so curious now! Great video as always!
I would love to see you do the city of Suramar!!
The little tunnel area with the mushroom is one of my favorite areas in all of WoW. Me an my friends used to go back there, afk, and chat all the time.
I got my snacks, my farming spot and your video on. Life couldn't be better.
Full Motion Videos recently discover your channel and really love the content you put out especially World of Warcraft videos keep up the good work
You have rapidly become my favorite channel. Thank you for such amazing content!
I wanted to mention a zone I would LOVE for you to consider doing: Mulgore. The Tauren starting zone is a wonderful area, with lots of easter eggs. and content. The greatest, and most touching part of the area is the quest 'Kyle's Gone Missing!' Ahab Wheathoof is a character put into the game as part of a 'Make a Wish' Blizz participated in. Your comments on the stable master in Stormwind, and how touching that tribute is, instantly reminded me of Ahab Wheathoof. Even if you don't do a video on the area, please, please, please look up the story behind the quest and NPC. An absolutely wonderful in-game tribute from Blizz for the little boy and his father.
Subscribed and bell rung, my friend! Can't wait for more of your content. Thank you!
I love this "here on your map". Sounds so professional. ❤
*I greatly appreciate your dedication to Warcraft lore!*
*I have gone on the search for many of these items through your recommendations*
Yay !! I stay up late tonight here in Japan to watch love your videos 📹
Thank you! That means a lot
I love these. I've played since BC when my kids (adult kids) got me into it. I main Alliance and have spent some time running around doing my own RP (I don't know any RP players and I'm on Argent Dawn) but I can run my gnome mage through the game and just go visit some of these things. I've spent time at Tiff's grave, along with the new one for Varian, I remember the park that was there at one point. I've spent time in the Cathedral. I was there for Reckfull's memorial. Thanks for the work and I look forward to the Mage area. (Granny Rubyrose)
If you wanna run into other RP players on Argent Dawn I'd recommend popping into the Legion version of Dalaran on Tuesday evenings! There's usually a major hub going on there; people running shops and doing lectures and having bar brawls and whatnot
@@ayzannah9885 Just happened to see this now (October 21) so I'll pop up next Tuesday and check it out, thanks!!
Seeing these videos really makes me feel like I missed out on something that could have been a big part of my childhood. I played vanilla wow around the time it came out but my parents refused to pay monthly for a game, I can't blame them. But really, outside of my cousin, I don't remember anyone that regularly played wow.
These are really good! a lot i missed in this game, and love your videos
Thank you! And hey, that's why there's stuff like this out there. So people can find stuff they missed :)
I belive there was a quest where you need to disguise to talk to the 4 Voidelfs
Great vid as always!
Thank you so much!!
Rythe Melodius probably a reference to a Doctor Who character. River Song/Melody Pond Rythe is another name for a stream. It's a fun play on words as the first regeneration of River Song was played by nina toussaint-white who resembles Rythe if ever slightly
Great video! Brother Sarno is actually a memorial to Richard Sarno, who was awarded with the MVP award on blizzard's old forums
Ah, no idea how I missed that! Thanks for the info, I will 100% include it in an update video
@@FullMotionVideos no worries! Really enjoy your videos, the quality is really up there. I find myself binge watching them regularly! Greetings from Switzerland
Great video, super detailed
Another great video!
I'm excited to see your Dalaran video!
for me what i think would be cool to see is some more of the horde locations like Hight mountain or zandalar or some others like that i just think it be cool to see some more around them as it seems a lot of it has been around the alliances locations as of late :)
Great video thanks!
Whenever I visit the Stormwind graveyard, I always cast Raise Ghoul on my Death Knight for the lolz. Lol it'd be cool if NPCs have a negative reaction to that act, just a bit of flavor like a yell emote saying "What have you done, monster!" or "Grampa?!"
Thanks for another great video!!!
Thank YOU for watching! :)
great video as usual
We need Orgrimmar secrets, that would be so cool
Yes, yes, yes! Love these!!
Great video!
Thank you very much :)
Do you ever do roleplay? I'm curious since you seem to enjoy the story so much; and I know a lot of people in the RP community talk about a lot of the stuff you seem to spot as well! Love the videos!
Not particularly! I'm a pretty solo-gamer in general, but I just enjoy being immersed in worlds. I think the RP community is freakin' awesome though, such a cool group
@FullMotionVideos Thats awesome. I use your videos to help me unwind before bed, and though I'm all too familiar with some of it you throw in a lot of interesting tidbits. Love the videos, and I'm excited to see more.
As for the role play side, another member is always welcome 🙏. There's a huge charity community event happening in the argent tournament grounds, and they always welcome outsiders just to take a peak.
Thank you again for the excellent content
Love this series!!
Thanks!!
Subbed since quite a while, first time commenting.
Pls keep doing such videos cos there's plenty to explore.
I've started in April 2005 and quit after legion, but wow lore still runs into my veins
Would love to see some Mass Effect lore exploration in the future
Well, I have good news! I have a couple already up, and want to do more in the future :)
Reckful is also friendly to Horde, found out by coincidence when I went to do bad things in war mode.
Good on ya for not coming off the Mat/Tuon info. Now lets hope that Amazon actually makes it happen :D
made my evenning great again!!
What a great video!!! If I may ask, what is the name of the left shoulder item your character wears at 15.02 when talking to Reckful?
It's one of the human heritage armor variants! I don't remember the name off the top of my head, sadly
Brother Sarno will still ask the Void elves to politely leave.
Dude you seriously need millions of subs. The research you put in, the voice acting is amazing, and the video production is top notch. Keep grinding and youll get the attention you seriously deserve
one day mate your channel will blow up, keep on pushing pal.
15:44 It does seem weird at first because we're used to the Scarlett Crusade being hostile whether we're Alliance or Horde but having an Emissary in Stormwind does make sense because at the end of the day the only real enemies of the Scarlett Crusade are the Undead and/or Scourge. The Scarlett Crusade doesn't have any beef with Stormwind as they aren't Undead and they don't harbour any Undead either. Unlike the Argent Dawn who will gladly accept Undead/Forsaken into their ranks while also actively opposing the Scarlett Crusade for their hard stance against all Undead and even living characters that they suspect are allied with Undead or infected by one of the many plagues that cause the living to turn.
Thinking it about it now, I wonder if that Argent Dawn Embassy in Stormwind was deserted because Stormwind allowed the Scarlett Crusade Emissary to station himself in the city too? 😂He has been there since Vanilla and the Argent Dawn Embassy has also been empty since Vanilla! Something interesting to think about. I did always wonder why that Embassy was deserted.
Brother Sarno will chastise you if you enter the Cathedral as a void elf. He says something along the lines of ‘This place is not appropriate for someone of your… predilections.’
These videos make me realize how incredibly dull Orgrimmar is. I mean, it's the Horde, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun things in town.
Just waiting for the Valdrakken one so i can hear him say zavarudu and explaining the reference
The void elves are a fun reference to South Park - Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers
I can just begin to imagine how much more lore and place could be added once this game ends and blizzard decides to remake it with modern engine, just to milk ''this'' game for a few decades more. just imagine how much lore could be added and expanded on a fully realistic stormwind that is actualy the size of a realistic capital city much like Rome, France, London or the US cities were in the Assassin's Creed Games. with maps so ridicolously big that your character would spend half an hour if not far longer to move across one region, so they actually could add all the locations that appeared in the novels yet were never added to the game because of lack of space, interest or outright forgetting of their existence.
A wild Tyrael's charger appears at 16:44.
Did you know their is a next level exploit in molten core to unlock world of warcraft hard mode straigt too Deepholm? With enough of the right artisan weapons you can lock the raid mode using the forge, kill the trial first after the hounds to lock your status on the server the Golem boss's backfield is on that wall so get it done right straight through as a raid and you will fall to Deep Holm be quick.
Would take all the powers of Azeroth to accomplish though.
Or the right artisan weapon combination.
The sharding system ensures you do it right.
hope you come back to the whole zone secrets soon (:
sounds like this guy could be doing watch mojo
If i dont get wrong there Is also an unamed grave with the mark of lordaeron... Could that be arthas grave?
I have begun to belive that whenever kids that either watch this or other WoW related content in the future, and by that I mean in like 20-40 years from now will ever belive that we cheished this game so much as we do. From my personal perspective this is where a lot of my childhood gaming nostalgia comes from. But if I try to look at WoW from an objective standpoint, it's hard even for me to try to explain why this game hold so much value even tough I haven't been an active player for years now. You could argue all the personal good things about WoW you experienced back in the day sure, but if you were to try to make someone understand why this lowgraphics MMO made you obsessed with it, it's stories and lore. I think it would be hard to accomplish. I personally think Blizzard that existed back in the day was just a bunch of nerds making the best game that they themeself wanted to play and be apart of, and looking back at it all as I said, as a none active WoW player today - it's just beautiful what they accompished before all the shit hit the fan.
I have one of those fond memories. I was playing my first couple of days back in 08. Night Elf starting area. I got brave and headed out of the starting area as a level 2. And promptly died to something ridiculous like an evil bunny or something. I called my eldest daughter, who played (at one time all of my kids did) and she was too busy to help me. She told my oldest grandchild "Go get GranGran and take her back to the starting area." So, the then-10 year old went to the game, got his character, came to Darnassas and then to where I was and led me back to the starting area, killing anything that tried to kill me. That "kid" just moved in with us after his marriage broke up and is working as a game shop manager for 2 stores and thinks it's great that Gran still plays WoW. At one time, I played with all the kids, grandkids, ex-husband, his brother, and another one of the kid's friends in a "family" guild.
Starcraft and Diablo lore videos when? (love you)
Ha! I am actually shockingly out of the loop on both of those franchises but have always had an interest. I'll need to dive in someday because they seem so cool!
"Here, on your map.."
I didn't know about Ol' Emma and god damn that is sad
I was hoping you had some insight to Morris Lawry, who is a beggar standing near the entrance to the shady mushroom area. He has been in game, in that spot since vanilla. He will occasionally ask "Could ye spare some coin?" or "Alms for the poor?" and I always remember him from my first time in Stormwind back in 2005 and wishing I could give him some money. I have always wondered if there is something to him, especially since he has never left or changed after all these years.
There are a few other beggars throughout the city, and they all share those voicelines. I do kind of wish they were references to something, but didn't find anything in my research! I think they're just there for flavor more than anything, but good question!
Explore Elder Scrolls universe too!
7:46
Please post a Mulgore video, please
Or, she´s a reference to Skyrims Nightingales
There is a tomb in the Stormwind graveyard with a Lorderon crest upon it. There is absolutely no lore surrounding this tomb and no reason for a Lorderon crest to be in Stormwind since it predates Stormwind.
Not me crying at the Reckful tribute part. I never even watched him but he always had my respect in the community. It's so incredibly sad that he's gone and so amazing that Blizzard forever memorialized him so players could go pay their respects.
sqaure off
Love your videos ❤❤❤
