The Tragedy of Mor'Ladim is one of World of Warcraft's most iconic hidden quests - telling the backstory of the iconic Mor'Ladim, an enemy that almost every single Alliance player will definitely have memories of. It's a small story, but the developers at Blizzard Entertainment went above and beyond, giving the mob a true character arc and backstory worthy of being told. World of Warcraft Classic is a 2019 MMORPG video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Running alongside the main version of the game, Classic recreates World of Warcraft in the state it was in before the release of its first expansion, The Burning Crusade, though has since expanded to include TBC Classic.

What's your favorite World of Warcraft memory?
"The day Deathwing came"-questline. It is just entertaining and funny and such Tavern babble questlines are to scarce nowadays.
The Stitches questline and the Linken questline in vanilla are some of my fondest memories.
The Onyxia attunement quest chain leading up to the reveal that Lady Prestor is actually Onyxia! That's up there in my memories from vanilla.
The early in-game hints at the hidden lore behind all the quests that I didn't understand when I first started back in 2006. And that very moment when I realized everything was connected within the universe of this amazing game. Please, keep these wonderful videos coming!
I will always remember how 3 drunkards remember how Deathwing came down and how one of them grabbed his bike and rode to face him, lmao.
remember how far mor ladim would aggro from while you're just lowkey trying to quest around raven hill cemetery lol
Duskwood is full of great lore, I've always loved the Mor'Ladim questline, it's so iconic
Mor ladim, stalvan mistlemantle, morbent fel, such epic chains in a low level zone. one of the best zone in the game no doubt
Your channel is criminally underrated! From just a glance at the thumbnail alone, you know you're in for some amazing quality content!
Thank you so much! I put a lot of work into the videos and the thumbnail, so that means a lot :)
@@FullMotionVideos It truly shows! Glad I discovered you a while back! ^^
💯% agree
Duskwood is by far the best Zone in vanilla. It's not even close. Nice video as usual, keep it up man!
Good times... Grinding away on skeletons only to turn and see the Elite version of Mor'Ladim bearing down on you while the undead throw slows preventing you from running. Good times...
Love this. His book and sword I always keep and never sell.
This quest and Duskwood itself is the zone that hooked me more than any zone in wow back in 2007
This was the first tragic quest chain involving the scourge that I ever played and it is probably what got me hooked on it and left me with a special place in my heart for the zone of Duskwood, a definite personal favourite. There's a song which still reminds me of this zone and that quest chain: "Lustral - Everytime (Mark Eteson Remix)" as this is the the type of thing I was listening to on digitally imported when I was first introduced to the game just prior to BC when I entered Duskwood for the first time.
Your videos remind me of one of my favorite youtubers, I feel you are carrying his legacy on well but with your own unique version. I cannot remember his name but he passed from cancer about 10 years ago. Your content is well researched and edited well. Keep up the good work! You've picked up the torch left by that gone to soon WoW youtuber many years ago and its shining brighter than ever
Hayven... thats who youre thinking of...
@@joshandrus3557 Yes thank you so much! Hayven had such a wonderful channel and these videos really help carry it forward.
I love this tragic strory. All of my characters carry with them Archeus and the book "The Story of Morgan Ladimore". When I started playing the paladin class, I made a character with the name Sam Ladimore.
Gems of lore like this sparkle like the stars in the night sky and are testament to the greatness of the original Warcraft lore writers.
This was my favorite quest-chain and IMHO why classic WoW was so good. You could tell they actually cared about the story and the game. I have yet to see similar amounts of simple character-driven storytelling in any of the recent expansion that didn't involve massively overpowered placeholder characters doing things simply to move the narrative forward with zero individually understandable motivation and drive.
back then, they had real writers who wanted to tell stories. these days, they have twitter people checking boxes with their diversity tool.
The VA on this channel is amazing. I hope you get the recognition you deserve some day!
Touching. Especially for an Undead lore lover like me.
I love these stories in the game but the way you bring them to life makes it even better! Thank you for the great work
This quest-line was written in time when there was no quest destination indicators on the map, you had to get all the information from the quest text, flavour text and so on,
WoW has roots in D&D after all.
this age-old story does not need to be so tears-provoking, when told by you :c
love this game
So this is the guy who cause a great pain when questing in duskwood. I never knew the story behind it before. Ah 13 years has passed since I left the azeroth. This kind story make me feels like back home again
Blizzard should hire you to voice over the quests in wow :)
...This was really well done. Wow.
I like the story it gives a personality instead of just a mindless mob that you just kill
This video hit right on the spot, like craving a pizza a instantly getting one
That's some high praise! Thank you lol
This is some heavy stuff, editing/storytelling 10/10 :)
I’ve just come across your channel and have binged all your Warcraft content. I can’t believe you haven’t blown up yet, the quality of your videos is phenomenal. Would love to see you return to it!
I remember reading the book of Morgan ladimore. It was the only book I read while playimg classic wow. The quest line was just to good it would make anyone who wasn't into lore interested.
Have you ever thought about starting a pod cast just telling stories??? I would listen 1000%!
I still have the book and sword in my bank. Awesome vid man.
I really hope the algorithm picks you up soon! Stunningly good content
I'm currently binge watching all of your Warcraft videos. And loving each and every one.
So much effort was put into this video, love it!
Damn this was good, you made it into a interesting story. its rare to see someone put this much effort into making lore stuff
I cannot get enough of your videos. You have such a talent for storytelling! I can't wait for more warcraft lore videos
I'm just now discovering these. Very well done. The voice overs of the quest text is amazing!
Just discovered your videos! It looks like one of them hit the algorithm big time. Keep up the great work!!
I'm binging all these videos. You put so much work into these and it absolutely shows! Subbed and liked. Keep it up
Another fantastic video!
That’s crazy that you have so few followers! You deserve success! Keep up the fantastic work💪🏻
I loved Duskwood. Especially around Halloween. One of the few areas that I would actually complete all quests in
this is just beautiful done. my favortie quest btw. i remember playin wow back in the days on burning crusade. i will never forget this story and the sword Archeus
I never paid attention to this quest, yet I've done it hundred times. Thanks for the story.
One of my favourite ever quest lines
God damn, nice content. This channel needs more recognition
I don't know how I'm just finding this channel but these videos are amazing.
Great video! Loved it ❤️👍🏻
Moral of the story; Dont burry griefstriken warheros outside of the graveyard in a place known for its undead
Also, don't make tombstones for people you don't know are dead :)
Would love to hear you do the Warlock Green Fire quest chain
A truely awesome video!
I just discovered this channel and wow... I love these WoW stories the way you put them together. For instance, I've done this and the Stalvan quest so many times and barely read what was going on. I had no idea they were this detailed.
Glad you enjoyed this! There's so much great writing that goes unsung in WoW. Glad I can share some of the hard work of the developers in an easier to consume way :)
@@FullMotionVideos have you done one on Karazhan crypts or the creepy kids in goldshire?
@@FullMotionVideos nevermind, I found the children reference in the elwynn secrets video
What a great fkn channel with top notch narration to some of the greatest stories of Azeroth. This channel needs so much more recognition!!!! Defo a sub worthwhile if you are a true WoW player and enjoy the lore of this fantastic world.
GREATEST MEMORY?
My greatest memory is the story of Lilian Voss, definitely something to look into and possibly do a video on?
**EDITED TO ADD MY FAVORITE WOW MEMORY**
wish the quest texts would be narrated by you in game! would make it so much better.
Nicely done
One of my favorite quests
Love your WoW videos and hope to see many more in the future!
Thank you!! Don't worry, a ton more coming in the future, along with other Scifi and Fantasy stuff :)
Great video
Love these do more please
You're great at telling stories!
Would be awesome if you made one about the "Redemption" quest line that starts with Tirion Fordring in Eastern Plaguelands.
Another good one
Fantastic video
Great video.
I don’t understand why this channel doesn’t have a million views on each video!
This is beyond amazing
His eyes are burning, with fire and rage.
Consumed with hatred, for all of his days.
this sounds like a lyric from Jolene

@@ts45wF3 oh, i've never heard this one before! thank you!
Great Work i love your content More More Lore World of Warcraft
this channel is gonna blow up hard at some point xD
15300 subs is nothing for this quality.
I still have his 2H sword in bag after eons
I fucking love how you do these videos!!
Mor'Ladim: "Take my sword archeus"
Me: Sell it to an NPC
Having played through Vanilla content during WOTLK, Vanilla had the best stories behind their quest lines.
"there i burn my way through the cemetery"
plays frostmage😅😂
Your contents are accurate ❤iloveit
Always wanted to know about this undead
Does anyone know the exact Name of the Soundtrack that's playing in the Background? You can hear it pretty well around Minute 5:00 to 5:30
I can't find it in the WoW Soundtrack Playlists. :c
This Channel is amazing omg. I wish that WoW made all his quest this way even of that means 400Gigabytes of more data. A game RPG narrated this way with visuals would bring back wow from the dead lol. Sir your amazing contact Blizz immediately! Teach them how is done!
not gonna lie, mor'ladim got that drip
I like these videos
It was perfect ❤
Nice content! Could you share the name of the quest addon you're using?
It's called Immersion and its awesome. Couldnt do w/o it and Dynamic Cam
I think ur the best wow lore channel. Keep going pls.
Thank you so much!! Don't worry, more stuff's coming. Life's just been a bit wild and busy lately :)
@@FullMotionVideos Didn't mean to stress you! I just meant I apprieciate your content and i think you're doing great work!
Could you do thunder Peaks in LK? I'm really interested in Thunderfall and the frozen battle there.
Uhm.. platinum wow love over!!! You've earned a new subscriber and big fan!!
I really didn't want to sell this sword TuT
Ah, yes... Morgan Ladimore. Rip
More Laddem? Not more lah-deem?
Makes sense, since he was Morgan Ladimore
Whats the name of the addon that reads the quest and maked it looks so special ??😅
Were you part of that channel network Arcadea “back in the day”?
A lifetime ago, yeah.
Could you do the story of Gul’dan?
U think he went to Revendreth or the Maw?
Revendreth for sure
for the channel
*But WHERE on my MAP?!*
Why was there a worgen at his wedding?
i remebered to subsribble
👍🥇
"More Lah' deem" pronunciation.
Wonder why he says it more lah dim, when he says la dee more. I assumed it would be the same with mor ladim.
moar of these pls
Next one is already recorded! ;)
Hard to feel sorry for him after his murderous attack on innocents. I keep my pity for his remaining daughter, thank you.
Many people don't understand that WoW has the best lore and if you haven't read threw the quests and lore you haven't even played the game and have no right to say anything bad about the game as you have never even seen the true game.
💀
Lakeshire is in the opposite direction of Ravenhill Cemetery so it would be "before he left Duskwood" and not "on his way there".. ;)
I prefer to pronounce it as "Mor''Lad im" He's French.
