    Great job, my mates had his 182 cup 13 years and still won’t sell it, I keep looking at them myself but it’s finding a good one 👍🏼

      Thanks Steve. Good ones are out there, but are becoming harder to find amongst some of the more common neglected ones! Find a good one though and it’s a sure fire investment 👍🏻

      @@FastandFun yeah I agree, I much prefer older cars like these they have more character and feel more raw, I’ve had an R26.R megane for the past 9 years which only really gets used on track days, feel free to subscribe to my channel, just type in R26.R Donington and you’ll find it, keep up the videos please 👍🏼

      @@Trophy_R just subscribed and will take a look later at the R26.R videos. I’ve just done a deal on a friends RS Megane 250 Cup which will be joining my garage in the next couple of months. Not as hard core as the R26.R but still blew me away last summer when I reviewed it (you should check out that video) 👍🏻

      @@FastandFun I’ll take a look, mate of mine is the latest Stig for the Grand tour, he’s a passenger and giving me a bit of instruction, great day that.

      @@FastandFun good review, if you think the 250 is a good drivers car honestly you should try my R26.R, that’s on a different level again, I refer the 250 as a butchers knife and get R26.R a Surgeons scalpel, should try sitting in a full carbon fixed bucket seat with the 6 point harnesses, different kettle of fish, keep the videos coming 👍🏼

    Did you not treat the headlights with a protective coat after the polishing? Just wondering what works best?

    • @FastandFun
      @FastandFun  3 роки тому

      No, I didn’t provide any protective covering to the headlights. I’m not sure that they need it

      They certainly look much better - as good as new! I’ve been building up the confidence to do this myself on my 986.

      @@andyp6724 you should do it. Take your time and it’s really easy. Good luck 👍🏻

      I did this on mine and the UV made them go back to the way they were, you need to protect them afterwards or re-clearcoat them so it lasts. Good vid though mate.
