What are you supposed to do if you have no remote but can’t connect your cast to wifi so you can’t use the “google home app” I tried connecting other things but can’t confirm the pairing.
Whenever I try to pair my phone to the to it automatically pairs when I tap on i. It doesn’t give me the code or anything. And the remote icon doesn’t show up and I can’t use my phone as a remote.
Sorry the video wasn't very clear. The last option in the video is how to use your phone as a mouse for your google tv. I Should have said at the beginning to do this so you can use it to get into the settings and connect other Bluetooth devices.
Awesome video, just what i needed after my remote stopped working this morning. Had no idea you could pair an xbox controller or other devices to a google tv :) Also, i have a google tv on 2 tvs (living room and theatre room) can i pair one google remote to two tv's? Great to have an Aussie giving out this info :)
Sorry I should have made it more clear in the video. Setup the remote on your phone using the Google TV App( watch the last part of the video) . Then once you have the remote on your phone, you can navigate through the settings on the Google TV to the Bluetooth settings and then setup another remote.
@@antoniosimental8978having that problem how, seems not. I can connect vis Bluetooth but it wants me to confirm on the Google tv device.BUT I DON'T HAVE A REMOTE!!!
Yeah i did It. After i reseted my Chromecast i tried to set IT Up with the Google Home App and a bluutoth Mouse. And now since ITS setted Up, i can also Connect other devices....
If you have your phone on your Wi-Fi network, download or select the Google home app. Go to the Chromecast device on your network and select it. There should be an option to use the phone as a virtual remote. Use that to setup the new device. There are other comments on here about doing a full reset that seemed to work for other users.
Hey! You will need to setup your phone as a remote first. You wont need to navigate to pair remote and accessory for this. Just go to the Google TV app on your phone and make sure your Google TV is turned on. Then watch the video from 5:10 and It will show you what you need to do.

Would you be able to do this without the Google TV being connected to WiFi?

The app💀
Nice! Have you tried the mouse on an emulator like RetroArch with DOSBOX ?
I’m planning to play some old PC games
I paired a PS4 controller but there's SEVERE input lag with a mega drive and snes emulators. Even with the TV set to Game Mode.

I got my phone connected to the tv but its not showing the remote icon what could be the problem
Have you tried updating the app? Or maybe even restarting your phone?
Gotta open Google TV. Should see a button near the bottom right of the screen of available/connected devices.
on my google home app, the tv shows "open remote"
Thank you so much ❤️
how do I navigate to "pair remote or accessory" without a remote?
