I did learn something new thanks man however, I don't have a CC and nor do I stream it to the TV. I'm only watching this video because I work at a call center where people remotely call us in all the time and they need their Chromecasts connected to the Wi-Fi. Since I have never used or worked with a Chromecast before I worked at my job, I was trained on how to help people connect them but since I have never heard of it before, I'm still struggling to help them even when I read the instructions to help them so that's why I watched this video. We manage the Wi-Fi for IHG hotels across the US and people need to be connected to the IHG Wi-Fi and then they would see a welcome screen and stream now and when they click stream now, there's a black screen and we usually try our best to troubleshoot that the best we can. If I get a streaming platform, I'm going to get a Roku instead because it's less hassle and less troubleshooting than a Chromecast and it has more streaming options than Chromecast which makes it even better.
@@richardnorton9918 Might have missunderstood the question, but kinda. I haven't really tried it to the fullest, but i've looked up opening hours for shops around me etc
Any workarounds for the Viva TV APK? I've had no problem side loading it on other devices, but keep getting an install error on the latest Google TV dongle.
My remote seems to have stopped working with the big button to scroll down. I can only press whatever the suggestion is or UA-cam and Netflix. I’m not sure if it’s broken or some other reason.
I have a very concerning question, I just purchased this a week ago, signed in to set it up. I decided I wanted to sign out altogether before letting my teenager daughter use it for a few days. When I got it back I found it signed into my Google account again somehow. She doesn't know the password because I just recently created a new gmail, I had selected Remove and confirmed it but that initial first time I signed out it didn't prompt me to select "Remove account and reset device" (it only followed up with that next step once I tried testing signing out the second time once I got the device back). I don't have any other Google devices in the home, and the only device that's signed into that specific new Google account is my personal cell. I haven't confronted my daughter about it and I haven't tried the "Remove account and reset device" option yet. Can you please find out if there's somehow a way that a chromecast can sign back in or remember previous user without needing their sign in credentials?
I have a problem on a webpage im trying to sign in, i enter the user and password then a clickable button appears on the web but i cannot select it to click on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Any way to cast photos on your phone to the tv via chromecast? If so, how do we do it?
Can you do a Google search using the Google search page one typically finds in your browser? How? I would like to have the traditional screen too.
I mean how can you do a traditional Google search using Google TV?

How can I use my Chromecast remote as a mouse cursor when I mirror my PC screen and send the video + audio to my TV + Chromecast?
I thought this would cover power featuees, not the most basic features
With this all said, can you pair two nest speakers and made a surround sound using Chromecast?
yes

Why no one covers Google Calendar? Is it an available app?

@@SteveDOES thanks can the voice turn on a plug socket?
When someone asks for a thumbs up or a subscription in the first 30 seconds, that earns an automatic thumbs down.
I give them the thumbs 👍 and unlike if they did not deserve it 😊
Eff GA. No voice control for me.
Thays all common sence ya pinecone.

I'd love to get a chromecast but I don't think my wife would use it. She's not stupid, she just doesn't do tech.
It's pretty straight forward especially when it's in App Only mode.
If she watches TV or drives a car she does tech.
I'm not too techy either but chromecast is pretty easy :)
