I want to pose a question for you. If what we know was the Les Paul from 59 to 63 I think it was do the reissues have the same style carve as what it was fashioned after or is it the more modern carve. Also why can't those same reissues be called les Pauls. Aside from the confusion factor.
I would make my to the Nashville show if I wouldn't have just bought a Gibson ES-335 blueberry burst, pre-ordered the Fender 70th anniversary ultra strat in amethyst and a QSC KS118 subwoofer. I'm tapped out at the moment.
That SG Bass is interesting; it has the babicz bridge that you only saw on the 2015 SG bass models. I wonder if that SG bass is new old stock from 2015 or they still have some of those Babicz bridges laying around 🤔.
I wonder if the nut butter bass was a made to measure because at least the neck pickup doesn’t look correct (standard) plus it didn’t appear to be drilled for a pick guard???
Nutter Butter Bass and Green Screen V (i think Shamrock) faves, this week. Also, Lucky Junior; but if you saw Robert Baker's bit on replacement bridges, I can't un-see the over-angled wrap tail. It took Gibson 10 years to figure it out, on acoustics too. Then they do it on reissues because it's technically spec; yikes!! Ü ♫
I think it would be cool if they made a special run of mixed wood guitars where the headstock wings were maple, or walnut, something contrasting with the mahogany.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are the update days for the MOD and Demo shops. This show is not an advertisement but a "recap" of past offerings. Most times things sell quick and get lost to time
I think a gold pickguard and some other gold accents would've been perfect on the poto green. They could've also done pot o gold with green a pickguard and accents. I don't know where the 2013-14 Studio I bought as a result of your guitar hunting episode in January lands as far as modern . But it's much lighter than the Greenburst I picked up after watching the episode about a year and a half ago. Love them both and also my Epiphone Trad Pro III. I love that greenback. If they had gone with a pale green i wouldnt even look at it twice.i like that Brunch Blast Gold. They should do one with a off white center and specks . Same edge finish but call it fried eggstravaganza since it would ne looking much like a fried egg. Id love to see the burnt Clementine in person to see if it looks as good as it does here. Nut Butter reminds me of the color of the nut inside an acorn. Very cool looking. I like the Plumb Blast. Its cool they put on the Grover tuners instead of the typical tuners. Oddly enough I was thinking of something of a red and orange mix id call Bllod Orange burst. Then you come across the Tango orange which i really like. That Katchanatto Green reminds me of some jade my grand parents had that was carved in the shape of an elephant.
You're complaining about quality control and stuff, but mention PRS in the same sentence… Sure if you wanna have a soulless guitar. (Btw I'm not saying that the QC is good, but just buy an old Les Paul for less…)
If i had a white Gibson i would start smoking. Put it outside during the day and bring it in and blow smoke on it at night lol The yellow looks awesome
green guitars are horrible looking to me. no class. why ruin a beautiful lemon burst with those tacky stripes. zero taste. repaints are not even desirable to me. against all the rules ive lived by for gibson guitars in my lifetime

That triple pickup Melody Maker was on Guitar Center's website recently. It was price dropped down to $1649.
I was the one who picked up that Silverburst Custom at 10:30 !
5:20 that’s Home Depot Orange. I’d love that thing.
That Tango Sunrise is half modern Appetite Burst, half 2013 Rosso Corsa Slash styles.
I really loved the SG's this week! Stellar. Always look forward to this episode, great work and thanks Trog!
Brunch Burst Sparkle was really cool 👏👍🤘

That Tango Horizon @6:50 would be a great Andretti/DHL promotional guitar.
That SG Bass is interesting; it has the babicz bridge that you only saw on the 2015 SG bass models. I wonder if that SG bass is new old stock from 2015 or they still have some of those Babicz bridges laying around 🤔.
That black and gold SG modern is so cool as well 🤘
I just saw that modded melody maker at guitar center in cherry hill, NJ! That’s crazy to see it on this video.
5:20 thats like General Lee orange. Pretty cool!
Love the tango horizon
The '61 Techno Gecko Green SG 💘
Tango sunrise looks like the “Doppler effect” costume Sheldon wore on TBBT
Man I was so close to buying the sg supreme. But held off for the flood guitar
I just scored one of the white 80's Explorers. Does anyone know what brand of domed knobs Gibson uses like on that Silver Cherry Sparkle Les Paul?

I love that purple special. Not really a sparkle fan either.
Wow u ran quickly by the Les Paul special wrap tail in reddish finish…with staple pickups? Would like to see more of this…
Thanks Trog I got the 54 Les Paul w/stinger.........is a great guitar
I think it would be cool if they made a special run of mixed wood guitars where the headstock wings were maple, or walnut, something contrasting with the mahogany.
5 piece walnut/maple neck with walnut wings sounds fun to me!
I like it. All the same, it looks less emerald green than it does mint green. That's a good thing also.
Hi trogly! I've never had a gibson where can i get one cheaper
SG Standard Bass is definitely burnt orange to me. Maybe it's because I'm from Texas
That Nut butter SG bass is the cats pajamas
I like the Orange with an Orange amp and an Orange Cord and an Orange Pick it would be called Vitamin C if I could afford another guitar...lol.
Need a greenback Explorer lefty
When do they release these? Your shows 18 minutes old and bunch of these are already gone
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are the update days for the MOD and Demo shops. This show is not an advertisement but a "recap" of past offerings. Most times things sell quick and get lost to time
"Com-pli-men-tary"
Lol Trogly, lol.
"Just" a tenor guitar? Bite your tongue!! Otherwise - so much cool stuff, I CAN'T pick a favorite!!
I've never heard of the color Clementine either
Same as a Clementine. Do get out more.
I want a go to Nashville for the pull pork.
Mod Shop offerings were a bit weak, IMO
The UK demo shop is a total washout.
Your love of Antigua boggles me. It looks like corpse burst to me 🤷♂️
Is anybody else shocked that he has not made a video about the Epiphone Dave Grohl model yet? 😂
Tobacco sunburst SG was one of my faves here thanks Trogly
At 1:50 You're right, Trogg....should've been a gold pickup cover, it wouldve resembled a gold belt buckle...missed opportunity for real!

Love modd shop Monday
Howdy everyone!!

I will never understand the love for Gibson, their quality control is so suspect. I'll take a perfect PRS ever day over Gibson
You're complaining about quality control and stuff, but mention PRS in the same sentence…
Sure if you wanna have a soulless guitar.
(Btw I'm not saying that the QC is good, but just buy an old Les Paul for less…)
Yo
Yes. Everyone loves the nut butter.
5:51 I thought that said violent fart instead of violet tart
If i had a white Gibson i would start smoking. Put it outside during the day and bring it in and blow smoke on it at night lol
The yellow looks awesome
I dinged my TV yellow Gibson special last night and now nothing matters.
Here to hear you pronounce bucks as box.
Nut Butter = Brorange
Another boring Gibson episode. Gibsons are lame and poor quality. The same episode over and over is lame too. Seriously, switch it up dude
.... nut butter 😅
