Cleaning out the fridge before going to the store. That way you actually know what you need and don’t over buy even with a list and it also clears space to put everything away when you get home

@@michaelnoga3737 Great idea! That's so true. The amount of times I've ended up with 2 bottles of BBQ sauce or 3 bunches of celery because I didn't do this is...well...too many 🤣
      Thanks for sharing!

Flipp is an app that has all the current store adds and sales in your area. You can check to see what is on sale and then build a meal plan around those items.
Stores also have a clearance section with items 50% off. I have picked up organic pastas and protein pastas for half the price.

Thanks for another great video! Because you asked, here are three additional habits that I use (1) eat before shopping so I'm not in the grocery store hungry, (2) I often purchase frozen vegetables and/or fruits because I can pull out just what I need and nothing goes bad waiting for me to use it, and (3) I make soup at the end of the week with whatever "leftovers" I have so I can clean out the refrigerator before my next shopping trip!

Great tips! So many people have asked me about higher priced healthy foods, but.... I found my grocery bill has gone down, because I no longer buy the junk, no pop, candy, chips, pre-made processed foods, etc. So actually saving money, and getting fabulous quality foods now!

Exactly!! When we're focused and buy plants, they do tend to be cheaper. And they're easy to put together in delicious meals!
So glad you found this helpful, thanks for your continued support!

Great tips! If you have an instant pot you can buy dried beans and easily cook a big batch for the week. Dried beans are so cheap!

3:11 where I live luckily the candies are on the perimeter at grocery outlet. They put the health stuff in the middle and put the soda and booze at the perimeter. I actually only shop at stores like that. Target also places their booze way in the back and the juices in the front.

@@theplantbasedteacher can I say this tip to know which grocery stores do this? It's the ones that don't sell cigarettes that tend to be this way, as once you have one 'sin' then they assume you're ok with all sorts of them.
