Imax 3d south city or pvr pxl screen mani square which one is better??
No dought IMAX is much better than any theatre. screen sound quality and the bass of the IMAX Theatre is 🔥
but the screen size of the imax in South city is just too small

I m confused whether i should watch avatar 2 in pvr pxl or inox imax south city mall, going by screen size pxl is bigger but pvr does not have imax

I want to watch Oppenheimer. Where should I go? PVR PXL or CC2 INOX??
To get the best visual experience of Oppenheimer, undoubtedly go for South City IMAX. The sound is not that great though. Loud but lacks clarity. For sound experience, Dolby Atmos Screens are better.
@@subhadip.flixcanvas I see. Actually IMAX tickets are expensive for me. So, I am looking for other halls. Which will be best?
@@satyakimandal308 Then the next best option is PVR P[XL]. The screen is huge and they have Dolby Atmos as well. But, I'm not sure if they would project Oppenheimer on full edge-to-edge. It's better than any normal INOX anyway. But, please make sure to get the tickets in the back rows.

100%, PVR P[XL] is the best movie screen you can get in Kolkata, yes it's even better than South City LIEMAX.
If you can't travel to Mani Square Mall, I would recommend going to Diamond Plaza Mall PVR Cinemas.

PVR pxl or Inox Imax which one do you prefer?
I like both. But, in PVR [XL] the actual projection of the film doesn't cover the entire screen and the theater is so big that the speakers are really far away and it's not that loud. Although the sound clarity is really crisp. Moreover, as they use RGB Projector, I have noticed some RGB glitches, like some chromatic aberrations constantly happening on the image. Most films in India are not optimized for those big screens. And such a huge theater can be a bit intimidating and you don't feel connected with the film. I have seen Joker at South City IMAX. As the screen is much closer and the projection is edge to edge, it actually feels much bigger and immersive, in my opinion.
@@subhadip.flixcanvas thanks for the reply. Actually I was thinking to watch top gun maverick at the imax. But as the screen size is smaller compared to pxl , i got confused. So , should I prefer middle row or last row in imax?
@@subrataroy4517 I have heard that the 3D Experience of PVR P[XL] is better. But, if you're going for a 2D screening, you may experience the IMAX once. It's not that bad. I was constantly looking for the best cinematic experience to get in Kolkata. But, as we don't have proper IMAX, so the South City IMAX is the next best thing. The seats are also comparatively more comfortable than PVR P[XL]. Have a great time watching the film.
@@subhadip.flixcanvas well i recently watched doctor strange in pxl. Experience was mixed feelings. Screen size is huge, brightness also good. But resolution of the screen felt like 720 p, maybe this is due to the fact that they crop the movie then project.
