'10 Best ARVs in the World', so they start with a concept vehicle that has seen zero service or foreign sales. Yeah, right. Looking through other comments, there are a lot of complaints that I also missed - so, well done guys. That's some good eyes.
Doubt the weapon load is the most important feature here... Scout vehicles should have decent speed, range, amphibious capability, or watercrossing ability. Accompanying this should be a varied useful sensorpackage and communications gear, maybe additional drones or sensorpods Any insertion options for behind the line forces could be interesting as wel... Weapons are secondary to these features
Where is the Libertarian Killdozer? It was a modified bulldozer with full armor and multiple cameras. It was equipped with a .50 BMG rifle, a 7.62mm rifle, and a .22 LR carbine used in firing ports around the vehicle in addition to a 9mm handgun and a bulldozer plow.
The video is totally bs The jaguar armord shouldn't be compared with any thing right now he is waaay ahead of any thing The French have already start mass producing it end they gonna receive 90 units this year
Combat proven? Lol...and it didn't out perform the Bradley, if it did, it would be in service instead of the Bradley. For US army service, it was considered too small. And the Bradley is the most proven combat vehicle out of every single vehicle on this list.
Agreed, its a shame really, the CV90 is one of the best IFV's out there. I think the only reason the US didn't go for it is because it was too expensive. Even though it's faster, harder hitting, and can carry more passengers, everything the military has was made by the lowest bidder haha
The best simply isn’t in the video, the best by todays standards is the Boxer CRV. 35mm dual feed cannon, anti-tank guided missiles, 7.62mm machine gun and the option for a .50 cal and 40mm grenade launcher. Speed and manoeuvrability of a tank. Full Hunter/killer capabilities. And if the turret is the unmanned version of the lance 1.0 turret like used by Australia then it can also accommodate up to 8 passengers. The only rival it has is the British Ajax Scout SV. Both vehicles are used by Britain.
This is crap research, what about the Italian Centaur, the American Stryker, and others not mentioned? The South African AFV is only used there and nowhere else.
A LOT of these vehicles are experimental or 'one-off' items that appear to be there because the poster was able to get pretty picture footage. Not a good vi for this reason
Ahem.... both the 2T and the Jaguar carry anti tank missile launchers and the 2T even carries anti-air missiles. Both have folding double launchers in the turret flanks. Quite an important asset you failed to mention
Yeah it's not even the brm 3k that is depicted in the video it's a new turret made for the bmp-3 with a 57mm cannon and its made for AA not reconnaissance
It says recon-vehicles.... not AT-vehicles. Not sure what variables where used to decide which vehicles ranks where though. IMHO this is a pretty absurd list.
I liked the warrior and the Ajax, the armoured fighting vehicles the British are now using along with the boxer wheeled personel carrier. The Scimitar isn't even in service anymore. It was first built in the 70s. In fact I think they still have some left, they were auctioning them off.

@@ditzydoo4378 "twin-barrel breach loading 120 mm mortar . . ." Say no more. That's a lot of bang. Excuse me while I go do "research."
@@mage3690 the first time I saw it in action on UA-cam I was stunned.. one of the videos came from Matsamus, the other by Hagglund the builder. the turret is easily retrofitted to other vehicles as well as ships.
@@ditzydoo4378 it's beautiful. 'sniff'
GREAT TANKS
'10 Best ARVs in the World', so they start with a concept vehicle that has seen zero service or foreign sales. Yeah, right. Looking through other comments, there are a lot of complaints that I also missed - so, well done guys. That's some good eyes.
The mexican military and law enforcement agencies have similar vehicles. They need to start using them more regularly when they go to arrest narcos.
on what basis are these the best in the world lol. no reasons given at all just "this is vehicle it has stats, next"
3 commercials in 10 minutes video? This is becoming worse then TV channels.
The M3 is mainly an IFV. Battle Proven even by today with upgrades.
Looks like a tank, but only has egg shell protection. But it moves fast. Peace be unto you.
I think the CV90 Reconnaissance Vehicle is #1
The Caiman looks do sexy and the best one for the job there in my opinion.
Canada doesn't use the LAV 25, they use the LAV 3 designed and built in Canada. It's based on the LAV 25. The US Strikers are based off the LAV 3
Can you do a updated version in 2021 pls?
Doubt the weapon load is the most important feature here... Scout vehicles should have decent speed, range, amphibious capability, or watercrossing ability. Accompanying this should be a varied useful sensorpackage and communications gear, maybe additional drones or sensorpods
Any insertion options for behind the line forces could be interesting as wel... Weapons are secondary to these features
Love the videos but you really need more content
Where is the Libertarian Killdozer? It was a modified bulldozer with full armor and multiple cameras. It was equipped with a .50 BMG rifle, a 7.62mm rifle, and a .22 LR carbine used in firing ports around the vehicle in addition to a 9mm handgun and a bulldozer plow.
The video is totally bs
The jaguar armord shouldn't be compared with any thing right now he is waaay ahead of any thing
The French have already start mass producing it end they gonna receive 90 units this year
Not very well researched, the CV90 wasn’t included in this list and it outperformed the Bradley in trials plus it’s combat proven.
Where's your proof? Lol
@@willthorson4543 You should really do your research before making a comment like that.
Rooikat is the best. Designed to engage tanks, high resistance to mines, and fast road and off road speeds makes for an effective vehicle.
@@Some_Random_Asshole I concur. Excellent points.
Thor and Sharon Hedges thank you.
Lav 25 uses my country Australia also besides USA and Canada. Soon we are getting German Boxer to replace Lav 25
But the Italian Centauro II?
tank destroyer not recon
@@landshippirate7044* recon destroyer...
Just because it’s good on paper doesn’t mean it’s good in real combat
That's good but whe're the wonderful car machine GUARANY from Brazil ?
I want a Caiman, Its perfect for South Carolina!! May need to up the armaments a bit though..
Roikaat is my spirit animal.
Brad...always Brad
the rooikat is one of my favorite apcs 8 wheels will allow it to be up graded with heavier armor .an a 76 mm canon
Good video, but i think you forget something. The strength multiplier of an ATGM on scout vehicle, and most important of all, quality of it's optics
The optics are very tiny for a reconaissance vehicle! 1:03 Can this thing even do reconaissance? Open the hatch and take a look, or what?
Where is our beloved Centauro?
eleven?
@@ironseabeelost1140 well centauro 2 is better than half of those vehicles
@@spike_the_dragon1748 better than all*
This is crap research, what about the Italian Centaur, the American Stryker, and others not mentioned? The South African AFV is only used there and nowhere else.
stryker is not that good, rooikat beats it hands down, especailly not that the gun is 105mm not 76 as mentioned in the clip
@Joseph Lisitza See the Ratel. Many a soviet era tank has gone up in flames because of that vehicle
Boxer CRV is my favourite because of its modular capabilities
50 cal protection should be standard. Even mafia now has M82s.
First 😎
A LOT of these vehicles are experimental or 'one-off' items that appear to be there because the poster was able to get pretty picture footage. Not a good vi for this reason
Ahem.... both the 2T and the Jaguar carry anti tank missile launchers and the 2T even carries anti-air missiles. Both have folding double launchers in the turret flanks. Quite an important asset you failed to mention
That gun on BRM 3K looks bigger than 30mm, it seems like 50-60mm considering recoil, rate of fire & those big used cartridges.
Yeah it's not even the brm 3k that is depicted in the video it's a new turret made for the bmp-3 with a 57mm cannon and its made for AA not reconnaissance
What about Mowag Pirhanna, Stryker ? Patria ?
Lol the U.S. Army doesn't use the LAV 25. The Stryker has many differences...but hey I was only on a RECCE Stryker for nearly 4 years.
Plz include kestrel by TATA its one the best in the world.
A R/V of the Australian Bushmaster would be good.
It’s been adopted by lots of countries including main weapon of the M2/M3 so I guess they rate it pretty highly
Recon vehicles, and no mention of speed or range?
Where is the new brazilian anti tank vehicle Guarani 8x8 105mm?
Broken down
It says recon-vehicles.... not AT-vehicles.
Well, at least someone likes the Ajax.
The LAV 25 is also used by the Australian army.
The Bradley........... someone should have read the pentagon wars.
Not really seeing why the jaguar is so low in the ranks.
A very strange mix of tracked and wheeled vehicles with cannons ranging from 25 mm up to 105 mm. Comparing apples to oranges.
I like the Luchs from the Bundeswehr the Most, sadly it was not here....
Canadian coyote(LAV 25) has a crew of 4 and a surveillance system. Why not explain their reece capability other then their basic vehicle components
hopper1415 american LAVS don’t have any surv capability only the Canadian ones
