- The most important thing to do after 3 or 6 months of your arrival in Germany is to apply for a residence permit or extend your residence permit in Germany. All important things needed to know like bank balance, how to book an appointment, and what documents are needed.
The other thing that I forgot to mention is to know your height in cm and your eye color because it is needed to be printed on the card.

It it so great to see that you enjoy living in Germany, I think we are now one of the largest expat destinations - this is great because Germany is very short on highly qualified young people! A lot of students in my university especially in computer science (3-4 years ago) were from India 🇮🇳 😊. Hi, need some info asap. I came to Germany and am applying for visa permit in Nov. Now in Nov itself am applying for residence permit for students. Is the expatrio confirmation, preliminary health insurance from tk and remaining docx as mentioned in the appointment pdf enough to get permit. Or do I need to activate the blocked account and TK ? and then apply?

Hello, thanks a lot for the video its very helpful. I just had a couple of questions: How much did you pay for the extension of the residence permit and for how long is it valid? I paid 93 euros but I'm not sure for how many months it is. For me, they needed only a biometric photo, height, eye color, student certificate, passport (that they gave back right on spot); am I expected to receive a Card or a temporary visa? Also, how long did it take to receive the new residence permit? Thanks a lot again, wish I watched this video before I did all this

@@anas8819 hey, town/city in each state has different rules.
As long as you can get a part time-mini job you will be fine.
In my town, they asked for 3 months blocked account in case the student has a job contract.
Otherwise, they have to show the full amount.
So you don't work part time?
No I don't I was writing my thesis in Company and got paid
And one more doubt.. Will the part time contract be accepted by auslanderbüro for second year extension of visa??
