CVA has been at the top of the game in muzzleloaders, but they are there with centerfire rifles. Just bought my third Cascade. Got one each in 6.5CR, 308 Win and just got one in 7mm-08. Please, if you have any pull with CVA, WTW, have them offer one in 270 WIN.
I love that you review affordable rifles for those of us with less disposable income! You prove that you don’t need the most expensive rifle to get good accuracy and ergonomics.
Sweet rig. Would be a great option, but I don't think it's legal in Oregon. Could be wrong on that. Nice Mule Deer buck! Congratulations! I'm glad to witness your journey WTW.
Couple this with aero max 300 Gun pittmans with 98 grin of blackthorn and this is awseome! Im holding 3” groups at 500 yards. Haven’t had opportunity to shoot further yet but coming. 2300 fp/s
I love CVA and Bergara rifles, and I would have bought a CVA Paramount by now if the Blackhorn powder they suggest for accuracy wasn't so dang expensive!
I hear you! It's sad really I love blackhorn super clean but I have very little left. Was enough to get me through muzzy season but may be looking at something else if they don't get there heads out of their butts 😂
@@matcogar872 I'm pretty sure you won't be the only one! At those prices when you add up powder, bullet and primer you could be close to if not shooting one of the newer precision magnum calibers!
I am all about CVA when it comes to a muzzleloader. They are the best in the business in my opinion. I’ve recently been looking into a cascade but they don’t seem to make it in 30-06 but I could be mistaken.
Yeah I’m looking for them to make one in 270 WIN but I think as of now they only make them in 6.5 creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 7mm Remington Mag, 308 WIN, 300 Win Mag (which is the one I have I love it) and 350 Legend and I think they also have the 450 Bushmaster too.
I have several heavy barele rifeles. Most of the people I shoot with have them to. But my favorit is an old Rem 700 BDL with a slim barele in 22-250. I use Zeiss scopes. This slim barele rifele shoots as good or better than many of the high dollar heavy barele rifeles Is this normal?
Does the CVA Paramount have the plastic trigger guard like the CVA legend does ?? I just bought a legend and that is the only negative I can say about the rifle. I wish It had an alloy trigger guard.
I know them stocks are made to be functional but I'm just a hunter I can't stand that style of stock. I love everything else about it of course minus the price. Lol
I only mention because it’s a MONTANA buck… and beautiful too!!! But- that muzzleloader isn’t legal for Montana’s muzzleloader only season. Just don’t want anyone to be confused… that buck was taken during regular rifle/open season.
We have Chad coming here to Martinsville Indiana in March. Awesome to see that you have a connect with him. Great guy!
Great people!

I love the centerfires too
Yeah I love them too, and just like you I would to get one in 270 WIN too!
Good shooting muzzle loader. Nice Buck.
Still wanting a stainless Scout in 350 Legend.
My 44 mag Hunter is great, but that extra MV of the Legend would be nice.

Only muzzleloader rifles I've ever owned have all been CVA from the very beginning! My Scout 44 is awesome too!
Excellent presentation 👏 Thanks 👍😎🙏
Thanks for watching Peter
That's the way to smack down on him awesome dude great job shooting

Congratulations Adam. You head to shotshow 2023?
I got two cva older muzzloader and I love them both in 50cal biggest buck taken to-date was with one.
Your a natural on that trigger 💯💯
WTW BABY!
Heyo
Nice cross of modern and old skool !
Hey Charles
I have been hearing how good they are that I am tempted to get one myself
Sweet rig. Would be a great option, but I don't think it's legal in Oregon. Could be wrong on that. Nice Mule Deer buck! Congratulations! I'm glad to witness your journey WTW.
Not legal for muzzleloader only season in Montana either. It’s legal for regular rifle season though.
Love to have the .45cal
Looks awesome, congrats
Love it
Great show, sweet gun
Nice! I love the potential of a muzzleloader to have much of the range and knockdown power of a centerfire rifle. Great video! Keep up the good work!
Congrats good shot and awesome deer.

The rifle matches your clothing very well 🥰

Yeah. Didn't used to be
It's because hodgdon now owns all black powder. They just bought Midwestern powder and all of a sudden $79 for a 8 oz tub. Imagine that.
@@matcogar872 I'm not paying it either. I will continue to use my CVA Optima for the foreseeable future!

I would like to see CVA use this stock in a center fire rifle with #6 taper barrel.
That’s the Bergara stock
👍👍
👍👍
Dang it just missed it. Watching now!🤣🤷🏽♂️👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Sweet Bing bang great deer
Thanks Tad
Awesome! Gonna share this to my brother, he hunts with a muzzle slinger.
Thanks Tim!
Just wondering, what is the max powder charge for that rifle?
Awesome video

What powder does it use? & congrats neighbor. heck of a buck.
What kind of power did you use? lose or a pellet? How many grains did you use?
160 grains of powder

Need that stock on their center fire line up.
I won't buy a rifle without an adjustable cheek piece anymore. It makes the biggest fitment difference!

Is this the man who got you started hunting around the age of 21 and you got your first muzzle loader and off to the public land for Whitetail
Nope
we need you back
I agree

This stock needs to be available on the cascade models or is it?
Is not
Dang I really like adjustable cheek welds. We need more on the affordable rifles and not just the high end models
@andrew m that would no longer make them cheap rifles tho....
This is true
Does CVA make any rifles in a left handed option?
Hmm. Don't think so
Remember not all states don’t allow inline and scoped muzzle loaders
Nice looking bing bang
Love it
cva needs to come out with a smokeless powder version/model
Awesome Buck, so I’m assuming this is the NEW ML they’re releasing this year?
Yup
@@WHOTEEWHO I didn’t notice a Ram Rod under the Barrel?
Every single rifle stock these days should look like that

Please do a video on 6.5 creedmoor vs 243 Winchester

Looks like a copy of the Bergara B14 HMR.
Now I wonder what happens when you suppress black powder.
I like playing pool and shootn deers.
I would like to shoot some deers and play some pool with WHO_TEE_WHO.
Watch all your vids but don't make all the premieres to chat . I'm in ice fishing mode now that deer season has closed !
Always appreciate you watching bigtime Scott. Catch one for me!
They discontinued the htr line of paramount…
I heard about that
