- My first and long awaited custom as a Jackson artist!
Master-built by Joe Williams.

Custom Soloist body shape (slightly diff than standard Soloist shape)
1 piece cooked Ash body
5A flamed Maple neck
16" radius
25-26" Scale
Semi-fan
15 degree tilt back headstock
Slightly slimmer 8 string headstock

Hannes 8 Piezo in bridge

I'm takjng notes on that recessed pickguard. It's so flush. Very sleek. This guitar is a masterpiece, and will past you a lifetime if you let it. Beautiful.

This slimmer headstock is far more beautiful that the original SLAT8 headstocks. Really great custom guitar ! Congratulations !

Can you go in to more details on how you had the body customized? I've been looking at a custom 8 string, and I'm a long time Jackson player and lover with the Soloist being my favorite body style. I like that it looks as though the Custom Shop kept the same amount of space in the lower cutaway, rather than just slapping an 8 string neck on the Soloist body leading to really cramped upper fret access. I really love the access I have on my 6 string Soloists.

I only play with Jackson guitars.. I love em so much. I know there is lot of great guitar brand... But Jacksons are the ones for me haha

What a beautiful masterpiece of a guitar! Personally, I'm no fan of pick guards in general but I have to say, it does not bother me on this guitar at all.
I noticed that the bridge pickup looks to be somewhat far from the bridge, especially on the bass side. Was that a specific request to get a greater amount of bass frequencies on the bridge position?
Really cool to see Jackson make something that differs quite a bit from most of their current production models.
Thanks for the comment Dominique! The bridge actually isn't far from the pickup, its kind of an optical illusion since this guitar is semi fanned which is less common. :)

Logic, NeuralDSP plugins and Quad Cortex, EVH5150III mini, and my Jackson guitars :)
