    • @RealityStand
      @RealityStand Рік тому

      It is used as fuel to burn the vessel. If the stealing stops today after losing the product to fire then we are better of. We know Nigeria, if you want to remove the crude to other vessel then they end up not burning the vehicle once there is no attention from the people and once they receive bribe. So burning is good to send message to others who wants to use their vessel for oil theft. Delay is dangerous in Nigeria because of high corruption, unless you are not living in Nigeria then you won't understand.

    The present army commander at Obinze is busy burning diesel tankers and other vehicles allegedly seized from illegal oil product dealers. The government losses revenue from the destruction of these goods and vehicles. It would rather been auctioned off proceeds paid into government coffers. This is polluting IMO state environment.
