WE ARE BACK IN ITALY! Surprise Surprise, we came back to our favorite European Country and are visiting the Italian Dolomites once again. This time in WINTER! We packed up our gear and made the long plane ride to Venice to join up with Sivan's parents on our road trip through the Dolomites. We are starting this trip off in Cortina d'Ampezzo and skiing two days at two beautiful ski areas, Tofana and Faloria.
I hope you guys get a lot out of this video if you are planning to ski or travel to this part of Italy anytime soon.
Wishing you all the best and hope to see you OOT and ABOOT!

This first of two Italian Dolomites Ski Videos was so fun to make! Really hope you all enjoy this! Thank you all again for helping this little channel grow and allow me to create more videos like this for everyone to enjoy!
👍
Simply beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. I would love to visit this place one day.
One day, you'll go and make these memories for yourself! Thank you for enjoying the video. Really means a lot 👍
One word. WOW! What an amazing place! So beautiful and what wonderful views of the buildings and mountains ⛰️ ❤️! You two have experienced so much! So lucky! Thank you for sharing your experience in Europe!❤
Such an amazing time. Feel so lucky for all the time we've already been to Europe exploring. Until next time! 😃
I was gonna suggest a drinking game where you take a shot every time this guy says Sivan, but you'd be dead before the 5 minute mark.
I probably wouldn't make it past 3 minutes 😂
The Mountain View’s are just incredible! I love how they feel so close to you and tall even when you are in them. You don’t get that feeling with skiing out west. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Really appreciate this comment and thank you for enjoying the video! It is a truly special place to ski. Cannot wait for another trip like this one.
@@CoryGrasser Also looks like dream summer hiking place too!!
@utubewarrenj it sure is. Happy we got to experience this ares in both summer and winter now.
Awesome video! Italy looks beautiful and nice GoPro shots as always!
Really appreciate it, Peyton! Hope to go back again someday. Have an awesome weekend!
What a beautiful area of the world! Nice work.
If you haven't been, you gotta go! 💯
Also, the food and pastries look so tasty!! Mommas, kinda food!
Hello. Do you remember what day you recorded this video? What is the situation with people on the slopes in Cortina at the end of February?
Not sure what day but this was February. Not a great snow year. People on the slopes are nice and keep their space from one another.
Unique area (at least compared to Colorado skiing). What a fun experience!
For sure! Beautiful area. Just hope next time we go, the snow is like what we have here. Spoiled in Colorado and Utah!
Going to come here during the Olympics in 2026. Hello everyone in 2026!!!!!
Was thinking about doing the same! ❤
Where did you rent equipment from? Did you find the resorts easy to navigate?
We rented our gear in Cortina for 2 days at a local shop next to downtown. Then we rented skis again in Val Di Fassa for 3 days. Easy to go and try on. Plus, returning is a breeze. Also, ski and boot rentals were pretty cheap compared to the US, in my opinion.
❤cortina d'ampezzo
Bellisimo!❤
Loved the video! We went skiing in Japan in February and now it's time to start planning for February 2024 for the Dolomites! Do you mind sharing the links to the hotels you stayed at while you were there? We would really appreciate the info. Thank you again for a great video.
You are so kind! Thank you! So, I'll tell you right off the bat we stayed at hotel fiori while in Cortina but we stated in another small village in Val di Fassa. Fiori was one of the best experience hotels around but I'd stay somewhere else in Val di Fassa near qc terme if I could do that again. We love cortina and there are several great places to stay there. Otherwise, I'm so jealous of your Japan trip!
THANK YOU!!! It's so much better to book international trips with real experience from other people 😄
You have to try skiing in Niseko....best skiing we have ever done, literally snowed every day. After a week of skiing, we went to Kyoto and Tokyo. Truly amazing trip.
Any other tips or suggestions for the Dolomites?
@user-qf4br6nx9t I couldn't agree more. We want to get to Niseko for a Japanuary trip. Dolomites are so magical. If you can go in the summer also please do. The resorts are great, and one thing to note is that you can go to as many different ski areas as possible in a day and or still only counts as one resort since all of the dolomiti superski is combined. On our last day skiing in Val Di Fassa we hit up 6 different resorts in one day.
Great Video
That pastry is called Krapfen
This is the comment of the day! Thank you! I was trying to find this name and you just answered it finally for me! Thank you again!
Hello, how long are the lines in kilometers?
you used go pro to record this video ?
I did. Used the gopro hero 11. The audio on the first run I use a microphone, but other than that, it's all gopro audio.
thanks
Do you know if are there classes for snowboard? And do you have any idea about prices of classes? And one more question do you know if they rent the equipment ? Thanks
Hey! Thanks for the questions. I'm not sure about classes, but I do know there are a few snowboarders, but I don't know about rentals. There were a ton of ski rentals, but I didn't see many with snowboards. It's worth a go either way!
@@CoryGrasser thanks Cory
You can rent snowboards in Torfana(where they are in Cortina) right by the ski lift for about 50€ a day with a helmet. But there’s probably cheaper places in Cortina itself.
What time of year did you go?
We went in the middle of February. Perfect time to visit, but the snow just wasn't there last year like it was in the American west.
Snow sounds very icy.. was that the case? How was the snow?
Yep, snow packed for sure. Italy didn't have a great snow season last year as well as the rest of Europe.
this might be a dumb question. do they have moguls ?
Not a dumb question at all. Did not see one when we were there. They loooooove the groomers.
