Great info, ill stop stressing over my dragon who has never drank a drop... Im already doing the tips mentioned, so im feeling better. Thanks for the content.
Fam same but i take my baby to the shower while all the water is hitting the wall making the water get down waterfall style, he drinks when it is like that he just gets closer to the wall n he starts drinking
Yes, its so true. Some dragons will just drink no problem while others hate water haha. Through the dragons I've rehabilitated, about 2 out of 10 enthusiastically drink water on its own 😅
Yeah I had one dragon I rehabbed and his owner called him bones because he was skin and bones and I was like he’s not old he’s dying. I gave him a bath he would not drink the water 😂 I dropped water on his nose he attacked it like he never seen water before when just before he was surrounded by it 😂
This is very informative. I was very worried about hydration for my bearded dragon when I got her. Also proper sunlight. My solution was bringing her outside and letting her eat the grass that she loves. It hydrated her and she gets her proper sunlight. This video made me feel at ease.
We got my 7yr old son a beardie about a month ago he's about 4 months old and loves water. He drinks regularly from his bowl and loves to swim around in his bath.
Thank you so much for your videos! I’ve recently acquired a bearded dragon from a family member who could no longer care for them so I’ve been doing all kinds of research and your videos have helped me exponentially! I was just wondering if there is a certain type of water I should be giving my new scaly son (spring water, purified, mineral, etc.)? Thank you again!
Is hornworms a good source of hydration? I just purchased my second dragon three days ago and seen that when he poopoo his urinate is orange that was off for me because I’ve never seen my other dragon poop look like that any they eat the same diet so can you give me some insight please 🙏🏽
They are a great source of hydration! If the urate is yellow or orange it could be maybe not enough calcium or too much. But also could be just something he ate.
I was wondering, can you use a bottle that has had no chemicals in it and use that for water source? I saw a lady do that in a pet shop. What other things can you use to cause drops of water?
I got my bearded dragon just about 6 days ago. His first poop had some yellow in the urate but since then I’ve been sprinkling water on his veggies along with some calcium and giving him a mix between crickets and mealworms and the urates have been solid white. Does this mean he is well hydrated? Do they need to be misted at all? If so how often? And what about when it comes to shedding skin? I love your channel and the info. It’s taught me a lot.
Mealworm aren't recommended for bearded dragons. Not much nutritional value and the outer shell is hard foe them to them to digest. Morio worms are much better, calci worms and the occasional wax worm.
My bearded dragon is a year old. He won't eat any vegetables (I've tried all the different kinds of vegetables and techniques), or drink water. I don't know what to do.😭
I get mine to eat greens by putting some on one of his logs everyday he just wont eat from a bowl or plate etc. Its as if he needs to find it on his own
For my baby bearded I’ll dip my finger in the water and let the water drops hit her face and she seems to drink from that…. I have had her about a month now and she is starting to get used to me
I loved your comment about water bowls in the tank: "it gives me peace if mind"
Thank you

Can you do the same video but for a uromastyx
Yes!
should I treat said water that my dragon might never drink?
I use tap water but if your water is bad that you don’t drink it you can

Are babys known for wrinkly skin
Is it ok to give my bearded dragon a few crickets a day 2 or 3
Yes bearded dragons do well with 5-6 crickets a day daily when they are babies then around two years old you can do every other day
2nd !!! , my bearded dragon is fat , how do I make it healthy
Start skipping days and feed very small portions.
FIRST CAPPP HE IS NOT FIRST 👆
Haha but his timestamp is two minutes ahead of you.
U talk way to fast :(
If ever someone is talking to get in their videos for you, you can always go into the options and change the playback speed so that it's slower.
