First off, yeah, I don't have any credibility to begin with. Second, if I Google "trafic" my first auto complete option is "engine swap". Thirdly, we have probably around 20 odd of these vans on site just now at any given time. None of them have yet to make it past 60k without breaking down at least once and there are NONE to have made it past 150k so far except ONE thats on 187k just now. That's not good odds really. The sprinters on the other hand are mostly over 200k and still run great. My one is a bit lower still with only 80k so she's not even run in yet. It's not even close to a comparison between the two. Even most of the Transits on site have done more than 150k without much effort and the owners are still quite proud of their rusty workhorses. I don't hear the same from the lads running their 19 reg trafics. Most of them are trying to get the hire company to give them the new Vivaro \ Dispatch \ Proace instead.
It's a van not a limo 🤣 I think a lot of your complaints are superficial Yes they could make comfort improvements but I'm yet to hear someone go "you know I really fancy a comfortable well equipped vehicle to drive around in, I know I'll buy a van"
This is exactly the reason why sub par vans exist. I need a van for work. I bought a well kitted sprinter. I didn't make the same mistake of buying a junk TVP again. Don't settle for less. If enough people did that, companies would know that they can't get away with palming us off with vans missing equipment that have been in base models cars for over 15 years by this point.
Note, the older shape a lot of people say that their vans are on 200k plus miles and never let them down. Just saying
there are cup holders on the top of the dashboard
so why did you not get the vw then if you did not like them
Yeah. I learned my lesson and bought a Merc. No regrets.
You say the engines are prone to failure, yet offer no detail, clarification, rationale, or explanation.
??? Credibility issue.

You are right! I didn't know the 130ps was single turbo and the 160ps was twin. Thanks for the correction. ;-)
