- The most beloved musical of all time, Lerner & Loewe’s "My Fair Lady" returns to Broadway in a lavish new production from Lincoln Center Theater, the theater that brought you the Tony-winning revivals of "South Pacific" and " The King and I." Directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, the stellar cast, led by Harry Hadden-Paton ("Henry Higgins"), tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

Pity the Lincoln Centre 'atmosphere' that Mr Hadden-Patton proclaims doesn't extend to their box office which tends to be stand-offish and aloof - and often simply rude.

Not sure how Pygmalion could be a an inspiration for Mary Shelley's Frankenstein as it was written nearly a century before. This is one of the more awkward interviews BUILD has done
Pygmalion is a piece of mythology on which George Bernard Shaw based his play of the same name. The only awkward thing here is how horribly misinformed you are.
@@BEE-mp9vk I am aware of the myth. I am not misinformed but they were discussing Shaw's version not the myth.
