@Guilherme Santos idk why you are getting so mad. Like Journey Man said, an early draft of TF3 was scrapped for Apex Legends. Did you seriously think they meant they scrapped the idea of ever making a TF3 for Apex? They've said numerous times that they haven't forgotten about it. Perhaps you should do your own research...

The one thing that bothers me most about the campaign story is just how morally one-sided it is. The Militia just never seem to do anything questionable or "bad". The IMC is shown as the pure cliche representation of a moustache twirling evil mega-corporation. The Militia itself is supposed to be a very loose company of individuals, from freedom fighters to psychotic pirates and anything in between. I know the "play for the evil side!" fad is a thing, but come on, give us something. That part where the specters were basically slaughtering civilians was a bit much, I doubt any commander who's job is to provide security to the frontier would drop to that just to flush out some terrorists. But then again, I am not a developer and the story is just barely there.
+Martin Metsma I'm a bit late, I know, but the Militia actually do something that is very bad. They blew up Demeter. It was a refueling station, I'd wager there would be hundreds of thousands to outright millions of people who would die in the explosion or crossfire of the battle who have no affiliation to either faction. It, at least in my mind, genuinely makes the Militia mass murdering terrorists, who leave a lot of people dead and probably more than that stranded in the frontier with nowhere to go. But if you open up the game files, you can see the IMC pilots are actually designated as "IMC_Villian." So I guess they're just shit outta luck.
Martin Metsma I'm pretty late for this, but I agree. Make it where both sides look good and bad at the same time. For instance, during the village battle, make the IMC storm the place, but the Militia would already be there, meaning the Militia brought them to the village since they were following them. During the Angel City battle, make it where the Militia is bombing the city and the IMC came in to stop the bombing. That way, both sides look corrupt but also heroic so that it'll be up to the player to decide. Hell, even Star Wars does this pretty good, thanks to the Battlefront games. In BF2, you see things through the eyes of a clone trooper, and it's easy to respect them when you see how much hell they go through each battle, and it even makes the rebellion look like terrorists, because these troopers are fighting to defend the order. From there, you need to choose. Sympathize with those who've seen all sorts of horrific battles and witnessed their comrades die horrifically, all in the name of saving the galaxy from corrupt Confederates, or sympathize with those who are fighting a tyrannical powerhouse, in the name of the galaxy's security. In fact, if Titanfall did something like that, they'd make it easy to form the plot and let the player choose. But instead, we got psychotic murderers and paladins to pick. It's not that fun when the morals are one sided.
Mind if I join in even later? I definitely didn't like the onesided morality in both games, that's why I love game like Fallout New Vegas and Demon's Souls so much, they're very morally ambiguous. The NCR in New Vegas does keep order, but they're a corrupt bureaucracy who imposes heavy taxes in any territory they claim. In Demon's Souls you need the souls of the Archdemons to contact The Old One, but one of those "demons" is a saint who is helping the poor and sick in the Valley of Defilement, quite possibly the most horrific fictional location you could think of.
My view is the milItias Morales are very scattered. The militia are a group of civillains and ex imc. The only motive for them is to remove the imc. So this means that there are some really shady and bad people on the militia side. For example, maybe there is a black market dealer that sells drugs and other highly illegal things. The imc might be restricting him so he wants them out, so he joins the militia. I see the militia as an equal to the imc. Both only want one thing for there own reasons. IKR! The Militia win in every level. What was the point of a two-sided campaign if one side has absolutely no incentive to play it? The only good thing about the IMC side is you get the Ogre when you finish it, otherwise their cutscenes suck and they have no real characters.
I began playing it again recently with a friend who introduced me to it way back, now look at me I'm painting IMC bonehead insignias on my bike helmets
Just to reiterate what I said in the the Militia Edition, this is not a great campaign by any means. Most of the story is told through exposition, instead of actually showing you cutscenes. I uploaded it more for curiosity purposes. There is some potential here, but it's not fulfilled. Read the description for my full thoughts. The multiplayer game is awesome though! Enjoy..
2 years later looking back on it there is a certain feel that you get from Titanfall 1. Its all fluff before and in-between matches but it's better than a boring countdown. Maybe TF2 can find that middle ground?
in titanfall 3 i would really like a singleplayer campaign, but i would also like a seperate multiplayer campaign like this, i dont care if its PVP or PVE, but if they use PVE, they could do something with the frontier defense gamemode from titanfall 2, but instead of a small gamemode, you could turn it into a whole multiplayer campaign with different missions and stuff.
The Wolf did you see that they don't have the IMC as a playable single player or multiplayer faction that sucks a lot so now I guess I'm getting infinite warfare not as I thought it was and/or battlefield 1 I cant decide I already have blacktops 3 but have never played a battlefield game except for the battlefield 1 beta
I really like Blisk.. I dunno, the character design and his voice are just great for each other, he's got a funny accent, for me - only likeable character.
Him and Spyglass for me. I dunno, I like self-aware AI... and Spyglass is just...really damn cool. And yea,Blisk, just because of his accent alone, not to mention his little backstory. Hahaha
A character who is cool with robots slaughtering innocents and is willing to kill innocents because they might become "terrorists" is a likeable character?
50Calabyte Yeah. At the end of the day its a video game, and I've always been privvy to the "bad guys". It says something that the Militia is willing to do the same as him to those that are innocent yet support the IMC, hmm?
Spectral Serval Uhmmm, what? The Militia never does anything at all similar. The worst they do is accidentally bring the IMC to the colony because they were answering a distress call.
I feel like the devs wanted to make the first game a bit open and less ambitious and they chose much more of a careful approach. You can tell that they did do effort on the campaign just not enough. They much more focused on the multiplayer where they also held back a bit. You can tell they upped the game with Titanfall 2. I’m a little disappointed that they ended up getting rid of the multiplayer campaign if they did some things they could have continued with another story similar to how Titanfall 1 was except go in depth on both sides having the single player as well.
Brock Woods yup. When in the final battle, on either side, there's a chance you're in the same place the leader figures are. It's made even more awesome when you look at Blisk and he gives you a nod like *We got this!* It's a subtle yet cool way to get your blood pumping.
From what I heard, the IMC colonized an area on the planet they discovered and they left the area to collect more resources. When the IMC came back, the militia had also colonized an area near by where the IMC colonized but since the IMC left, the militia came in and saw no one and they thought the IMC was going to destroy the militia. So if you think about it, the militia is in the bad side.
Nah, it's the IMC rofl. They funded the colonization of the planets on the frontier, footed a bill to get vets homes there and so on. There were a bunch of conflicts in the core systems (the planets in OUR solar system) that required their attention so they left the colonists behind. However despite the odds, the colonists didn't falter and instead THRIVED while the IMC was away, but it didn't last long because as we can obviously tell, the IMC eventually returned to the frontiers. What followed was them forcing people off their land to strip as many resources as possible, claiming ownership due to having funded the colonization efforts to begin with while killing those who tried to resist. This resulted in the frontier militia being formed by Farmers, Pirates and all sorts of others who were not fond of the IMC's abuse of the people on the frontier. So if anything, while they are made up of rather unsavory individuals to some extent, the militia are the good guys.
there should be a way to block people who have a record of cursing at a young age and or getting reported alot so maybe we can play together, well atleast muting them helps alittle
Been playing Titanfall for several months now and I STILL don't know what the storyline is. They really should have either implemented a single-player campaign into this or implemented the multi-player campaign with more player immersion into the storyline. As it stands, players just fight against each other while the storyline plays out in the background regardless.
I think the IMC are more advanced than the militia because the IMC survived the battle of Demeter nuke(Well that's what I think). If it is true that the IMC Survived than they must of teleported some how before the nuke blew
The Demeter fleet only represented about a third of the imc presence on the frontier. The goal wasn't total defeat, but to cut off the supply reenforcements from the core worlds by denying them a vital refueling hub.

33:25 that enemy titan being defeated while your men just walk by it is a nice and slightly dark touch
Militia has more plot armor than the Draka. At least the Draka don't win every time they lose.
IKR! The Militia win in every level. What was the point of a two-sided campaign if one side has absolutely no incentive to play it? The only good thing about the IMC side is you get the Ogre when you finish it, otherwise their cutscenes suck and they have no real characters.
***** GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.
IMC > Militia
Ahhh the good ol days, I miss this, reply to this comment if you want to bring back titanfall 1
I began playing it again recently with a friend who introduced me to it way back, now look at me I'm painting IMC bonehead insignias on my bike helmets
I came from the future, only the PC playerbase are active and even that is under the thread of the DDOs attacks :(
1:30. This quote is delivered so powerfully
Jesus go through both sides of the campaign and yet it's always defeat for you.
Enjoy..
***** exposition.
2 years later looking back on it there is a certain feel that you get from Titanfall 1. Its all fluff before and in-between matches but it's better than a boring countdown. Maybe TF2 can find that middle ground?
I love this channel they've always got my back for when I want to get up to date with video games.
its an amazing campaign in my opinion. epic story, amazing lore
Gamer's Little Playground I actually loved treat campaign
Basically, a good story that sets up cool lore, marred by lack of true single player and cutscenes.
yep
I remember playing Titanfall for the first time. I thought the IMC were the good guys until i looked up the lore
in titanfall 3 i would really like a singleplayer campaign, but i would also like a seperate multiplayer campaign like this, i dont care if its PVP or PVE, but if they use PVE, they could do something with the frontier defense gamemode from titanfall 2, but instead of a small gamemode, you could turn it into a whole multiplayer campaign with different missions and stuff.
IMC for the win!
Yeah
Jack Strayfeald >:D lets wipe out these militia scumbags
The Wolf
Per unitatem pacem unitatem virium-
peace through unity unity through strength long live the IMC
Jacktheripper339 Love the way you wrote that! Sic Parvis Magna.
The Wolf
did you see that they don't have the IMC as a playable single player or multiplayer faction that sucks a lot so now I guess I'm getting infinite warfare not as I thought it was and/or battlefield 1 I cant decide I already have blacktops 3 but have never played a battlefield game except for the battlefield 1 beta
Did anyone else see the Apex Predators (from titanfall 2) patch on the IMC helmets for the pilots
Stormtrooper Gaming they exist even before Titanfall 2, Silly.
MCOR and Apex Predators are probably a Sub Division consisting of Pilots.
MattChanka oh my god! hi matt fukn hell whats the chance of seeing you XD
I'm everywhere lmao
35:20 god we had no idea how fucken iconic that line would become
Here's hoping Spyglass makes a return for Titanfall 3! Such a cool character
Spectral Serval
Uhmmm, what? The Militia never does anything at all similar. The worst they do is accidentally bring the IMC to the colony because they were answering a distress call.
@@50Calabyte its game dude it doesn't mean he supports killing civilians in real life
I feel like the devs wanted to make the first game a bit open and less ambitious and they chose much more of a careful approach.
They were being careful due to this being Respawn's first game
28:03 did Blisk just get in that drop pod with you?
Brock Woods yup. When in the final battle, on either side, there's a chance you're in the same place the leader figures are. It's made even more awesome when you look at Blisk and he gives you a nod like *We got this!*
It's a subtle yet cool way to get your blood pumping.
If you actually watch him, he runs out of the drop pod once it lands but after about 5 seconds he cloaks and disappears.
I want a Titanfall 1 remaster, but the only thing changed is that you have the Titanfall 2 mobility system and upgraded graphics and that's it.
I prefer Titanfall’s movement to the sequel’s. It’s far less insane, and let’s me keep my bearing and track my targets still.
While not being very well executed, the Campaign in Titanfall 1 managed what it was aiming for: It was an immersive experience like no other.
Imagine playing Titanfall like it's COD
Lord knows ea forgot about titanfall
The Militia may have had a more honorable side of the story but the IMC side it equally interesting.
I remember . . .
I knew the IMC were the bad guys from the beginning
I am legit curious what happens if one side dominates the other so thoroughly that the other side doesnt even get to 25%
great single player campaigns are disappearing... thats why i wont even think about buying a new console till MGS comes out... DAMN YOU INTERNET!!!
I wouldn't say that, we still have some really good single player Campaigns out there.
Not like it used to be. .. maybe I'm just getting old, but I hate playing online with a bunch of kids and dirtbags talking shit. ..
*****
I feel you man some of the 12-year olds are just f*cking annoying.
there should be a way to block people who have a record of cursing at a young age and or getting reported alot so maybe we can play together, well atleast muting them helps alittle
***** Fallout 4 is coming out, so maybe your problem will be solved! :D
Blisk is obviously the real protagonist of Titanfall 1. He just wants bring Peace.
And find out who's better.
Also, get his contracts fulfilled as a mercenary
Why couldn't he recorded a win for every match
If you pause at 17:51 and look really closely you can see the militia titan hiding
Been playing Titanfall for several months now and I STILL don't know what the storyline is. They really should have either implemented a single-player campaign into this or implemented the multi-player campaign with more player immersion into the storyline. As it stands, players just fight against each other while the storyline plays out in the background regardless.
alexkg1 or you could have paid attention to detail the story is optional
bro i hated playing that demeter mission like both sides wouldnt survive
I had no idea that Blisk was in Titanfall 1.
what is blisk?
@@DeGeneral876 a character
I’ve never heard that dialogue in the load out screen.
the game has been updated and they took that out
+blazers trail do you know why they took it out?
+blazers trail I'm just asking because I have no idea.
+Nicholas Stultz no I have no idea, I was really upset about them taking it out
Talking abt all cutscenes but you never looked at the titan animations at all
I think the IMC are more advanced than the militia because the IMC survived the battle of Demeter nuke(Well that's what I think). If it is true that the IMC Survived than they must of teleported some how before the nuke blew
They didn't survive, that's why they lost the campaign pretty much
Porter Burkett they did survive
The Demeter fleet only represented about a third of the imc presence on the frontier. The goal wasn't total defeat, but to cut off the supply reenforcements from the core worlds by denying them a vital refueling hub.
Remmenant fleet
This game was ahead of its time, people weren’t ready for a movement shooter back then.
35:21 That's rich considering the high number of IMC defectors to the Militia. The man himself is one of them.
This remind s me of the mods for battlefront 2, the one made in 2005, even though this isnt a mod.
Can you maybe watch some of the action and exposition the cut and look aways kinda ruin it.
I like the Imc ending I like to role play that in I've been betrayed
If they evacuated the pilots then the fleet and the pilots would still die
The IMC is the Empire and the Militia is the Rebel Alliance.
So ahead of its time. Would luv season storylines played out online this way.
I played Titanfall 2 and not 1 and I just had to find out the story on this one to try and connect them.
26:29 Me: JUMP FOR IT!!! Big papa wheels: Catch me!!! me: sorry ships full
I can NEVER get the IMC campaign! I ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS get the Militia campaign
I have never played the militia campain, its alwayse IMC for me bud.
Bliss is my favourite character
Blisk not bliss damn autocorrect
You Skipped A Few Cutscenes Of The Story, It's Not Only The Dialogue M8
2019 Anyone...?
graves, spyglass , bish WHERE YOU AT
It’s blisk
@@kubenblisk6311 Blisk and Bish are different characters
@@icebergwalrus7775 Spyglass still exists. The enemies you kill in Bounty Hunt are part of the remnant fleet (which is the IMC fleet from Titanfall 1, headed by spyglass).
We don't know where Graves and Bish are unfortunately however.
IMC FTW
Graves seems like the black guy in Killzone Shadowfall
Bruh why don't you ever wall-running? xD , it's like chopping one arm off with that fast paced gameplay
They must be a COD player
This is the only reason why I would buy an Xbox.
Until the hackers came.😢
That poor MVRN.
29:36
Shame they got rid of the briefings before each mission. They added a good element to the story.
Did they use Helghast voices for IMC Grunts?
Spyglass Is The Sole Reason The IMC Will Always Be My Faction.
Playing As The Militia In TF2 Was Pain, I Wish There Was A Mod To Kill BT And Play As An Average IMC Pilot.
they should have made it so that both sides COULD win
This is the best video I've seen of the IMC campaign and its still pretty bad, you missed almost all the events that happen on the ground, didn't even look at the sentinel in Angel city
At 24:25 why are players dancing, LoL
9:38 Force fight!
Lol
21:00
That reminds me of SCP-1762
And it hurts emotionally
26:24 I'm a Stegosaurus!
Lol XDP
hah
thank you
Christ they really promoted the droid.
I wonder what if the imc won at Demeter
THE I.M.C ARE THE BEST
Titanfall 3 needs a version of attrition where it's like operations with a special misson like the multiplayer campaign did.
Just put a multiplayer campaign and a singleplayer campaign.
@@spirz4557
I hope ea not ruined it same like what they did to both titanfall 1 and 2
Titanfall 1 was awesome game but it did not have and ea ruined it that they make it exclusive to Xbox only
If they relase the game in April and relase the game in every platform ps3 and ps4 this game was going to be popular and u think the players was going to rank it 7.3 out of 10 and it will sell more than 10 million sales and it was going to be close to be cod killer but the rating will be like of course because because it did not have campaign but multilayer was awesome especially that it is new series so we should wait for second game and if that happened titanfall 2 was going to be more better than it was by relasing it in march , 2017 instead of relasing it between cod and battlefield and if this happened this game was going to sell more than 20 million and I think it would sell 23 million and the player rating for this game was going to be 9/10 or more it was going to destroy call of duty series and if all this happened we would get titanfall 3 in 2020 to end Cod series
@@abassalqattan7820 EA screwed TF|2's launch. If there is a TF|3, they'll try to screw it as well. Failed launch, lootboxes, DLCs, ... Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
It would be great if the story branches off depending on who wins the battle. Instead of the milita winning despite the outcome
oy that map awareness. not good man. hope you improved since then.
I hope they remaster this in the future for PS4
XxBBxX I know I'll buy it
XxBBxX i doubt it, Activision took them probably 3 years to remaster MWR.
Stop being dumb, buut cant stop you from dreaming aye?
Ah yes the legendary militia pilot... whatshisface62
hmmmm, battlefield 2142 :)
*facepalm* It's nothing like Battlefield
+Joshua PIZARRO then you obviously didn't play Battlefield 2142. The ideas and looks behind it are pretty similar.
If you look at it narrowly. Then yes, they seem similar. But if you look at the story and game as a whole. They are both their own game.
of course they are. but i also concur with the OP that it is reminiscent of BF 2142. just that. nothing more ;)
This is way better than Titanfall 2 multiplayer introduction 😎
I'm sitting here watching this for ye Olde nostalgia but I keep finding myself triggered by the lack of actually capturing the big events (The Sentinel jumping in over Angel City for example) and how bad the gameplay is. Like at around 12:45 I think? Mans stood right in the face of a nuke ejecting titan like a bot.
And I know those video is like, 7 years old or so at this point but GODDAMN do I wish there was a way to retract the view I've given this video tbh.
Wasn't there a mission on the Hammond robotics hq?
34:34 thats an OOF moment
i really do wish the IMC had more development in the campaign other than "hey militia is here trying to do shit, go kill them" while the militia actually has a full-on story. it doesn't FEEL like you're stopping insurgents, it just feels like you're doing warcrimes without any moral grey. the militia does some morally questionable things, but they arguably still have a much better cause compared to the IMC's campaign
Still dope 👌 in 2020
when i play everytime its always the fucking imc
IMC is better
