Use the shotgun for your burst damage and the block while in your sword core, it is incredible.
I have played Ronin for years and I feel super comfortable against all Titans - his kit is just great.
@@JadfiskI can take down pretty much any titan as Ronin but the scorch titans are pretty hard to take out since they have the flame shield and fire wall attacks. They drain my health in seconds

I like how non-punishing the titans feel. When I'm in one I feel safe and cozy. When I'm a pilot against one I still feel capable.

what happened to the servers got it the most attention its had in a long time, so it makes sense thered be a spike in population after it got resolved
It died again, sadly. Not literally this time, of course, since online still works, but 24h peak is sitting at ~3K concurrent players, which is solid for an abandoned 8 year old game, but still nowhere close to the revived numbers

I bought this game when you told us the multiplayer was back and I immediately fell in love. This is how I want my mech combat to be - plodding, thundering footfalls, careful positioning, and short bursts of speed. The Titans have *weight* to them, and that is what I want in a mech game. Like MechAssault. The Titan movement makes a nice contrast to the frenetic movement of the pilot combat.
The IMC expects more vids, not excuses.
I’m very curious if Bricky is ever gonna try out frontier defense. Especially if Northstar is his favorite titan he will have the biggest cream of his Jorts when he gets the aegis upgrades.

When i was playing i mained Tone. I didnt play it for the meta i just like the rockets and long range dmrs. Its why i also mained the g14.
I would've played Titan fall 2 all day today if I didn't have to go to work.

As a Ronin main I gata disagree with what you said how you play him.
The way you should play Ronin is start off the fight with shooting your shotgun as you close the gap and use your arc slashes and then when you get close start slicing them with your sword.
The sword has one of the highest dps if you just spam it.
Legion and scotch are the only 2 that can deal with you because scortch can melt you with his shield and Legion will barley survive since he's a chunky boy.
Northstar can give some trouble with the flying but you still got a shotgun.
Love not being able to connect to respawn servers without nortstar :) seems like the multiplayer is fun but will never be able to experience it. Its so bs and very disappointing to never be able to enjoy this wonderful game with others.

I love seeing this game come back to life. And with people surging. I sincerely hope that means the devs crack down on the cheaters. Played for like 3-4 hours and saw 5 cheaters. And pretty blatant ones at that. A lot of insta snap aimbots.

Good afternoon Mr. Orchid8, is it alright if I call you Brichard? Either way I’m glad to finally meet you. I’ve been a long time TF|2 player and more recently a Brichael Jorchidson fan. Whether you ever see this message within your lifetime or not doesn’t really matter I just want to talk about it. That being new titans!!!!! I think having another titan that can take to the skies like northstar. In a lore sense I think it would be cool if the one thing keeping other pilots from becoming better with flying titans would be Viper himself, he does not lie when he says “the skies belong to me” any good pilot that tried to challenge him died. So now that he’s gone, pretty sure, a new tyrant flies through the skies or at the very least monitors them. My mind goes to a dragon and that sounds pretty sweet and badass. A flamethrower as the main weapon with a dragons face towards the front, the first ability would be a loud directional roar that panics and disorients small units while it’ll disorient and stun titans within range with varying effectiveness based on range. Second ability would be an engine boosted jump that then sends them into a supported glide. This allows you to still fire your flame thrower from above but also descend on your enemies at blazing speeds! Not really but you would get an admiral amount of speed so it can also function as an escape option. Third ability would allow you to condense your flames into a close combat option with intense blue flames that deal more damage for a bit of time. Now the most important would be the titan core, we’re talking overclocking your flamethrower, pointing it to the ground and letting forth a giant wave of flames all around you, you’ll continue to do this for awhile as the flames get hotter and people try to run away. This is just one of the ideas I have in my head that I wanted to put on paper, or really in UA-cam comments. Hope you see this and get inspired or something to become a dragon
Hey, Bricky, since you like CBT progression, I would definitely recommend DOOM 2016’s multiplayer, it’s got CBT progression, deathmatch, and I just think it’s really fun and I love it so much, it’s also got a decent amount of players

Been screaming about this the past 3 weeks in the discord servers I’m active in, idk why but it’s been taking a while for people to notice.
My friend told me that the game was back and begged me to get it, wasn’t super hot on it as I knew about the skill ceiling. Just happened to check on Steam and for $2.99 I genuinely had no excuse.
I admit the PvP isn’t super fun for me as I’m shit and everyone else are the great players that kept this game alive during its downtime, but the PvE is pretty fun and the campaign was good!

I don't get hating Tone. Sure she used to be op but after many nerfs she's just average with barely any skill expression to carry her above mediocrity. Every time I see this Titan I'm like "Food?!". As Ion I just bounce her barrages back at her.
Play on Northstar servers new content and so much better, until tfiii drops, hopefully very soon. Your on pc so play northstar!

Wow i hope its back and maybe Titanfall 3 is on the horizon, i have been playing on and off on Northstar up till now.
There are two kinds of Tone players:
- Plays her because she's easy and incredibly strong
- Plays her because the 40mm cannon is pure dopamine in pixel form
Providing overwatch isn't camping. Camping was never a viable strategy in titanfall with the open map and wall running.
Ronin with Nuclear ejector. Can regain all your charge from the boom to recall it instantly

Bricky will you ever do a playthough of frostpunk/DLCs or frostpunk 2 whenever it comes out
smart pistol gets a bad wrap because of Titanfall 1, but in titanfall 2 it feels balanced to me. It takes a while to get a lethal lock on, enough time for a skilled player to locate the pistol user and kill them, or get out of line of sight. When using the pistol you need to have a positional advantage, otherwise if you're just running around willy nilly, you may get a single kill but you'll be eviscerated.
Yeah I’ll make you shit your pants with my ronin, and yes he is a sentinel playstyle, quick, on the toes. Win a 1v3 but know ronin won’t survive

There needs to be some skill based matchmaking. Every game I play feels like I am playing against highly skilled vets. Only the odd match is fun so I uninstalled as its too frustrating.

Smart Pistol would be more tolerable if the gun couldn’t fire unless it had a complete lock on target. The fact you can spam bullets all the while kinda negates the counterplay to the boost’s strengths.
