Thanks to you to protect Major !!! A lot. His reacts are so precious and genuine, so thanks again and thanks to Major. Kinds regards.
Thank you! And thank you for understanding!
Good for you Kimberly for helping keep Major's GOT experience unspoiled. LOVE ARYA!!! (My favorite character.) .... PEACE to ALL.
Well there is no more information on the books end.
The Hound finding and burying the bodies was a poignant callback. It's like he's finally stopped running and putting his past demons to rest.
Despite digging in frozen soil being impossible.
That's a heartfelt moment because I didn't even realise the kid and her dad had left such an impression on me.
That callback was a reminder of the long winding road we've travelled in a sense. Everyone we've met and lost. I didn't even realize the child and her father left an impression on me in that brief scene and yet they did. It made me feel sad.
It was a great scene, & an emotional callback as you said.
I think Major got the wrong impression about what happened the first time he was there. The Hound didn't stab the guy, he just roughed him up & took his money.
He did predict the future of the father & daughter. He told Arya that they would never live through the winter, because they were weak, if I remember correctly.
I think the emotions the Hound is having are about Arya as much as the father & the girl. I think he realized just how much she changed him.
But that's how I read it.
I do think the fact that Hound didn't stab the guy, it changes how you feel about the whole scene.
it's not actually the first time they've had a musician. during the red wedding the drummer from Coldplay is one of the free drummers during the reigns of castamere
Yeah I remember that now totally blanked on that thank you Spencer
The moment all three dragons circled Dragonstone castle.. and that music.. it was majestic.. Targaryens are back.. dragons finally back at Dragonstone
Jon has something that every other leader lacks. Grace. He dealt with Alyce Karstark and Ned Umber with dignity and grace. Like a King.
Agreed. I mean Robb did too, but Lord Karstark wouldn’t kneel.
@@realSimoneCherie if we go to that logic, then Dany also has that, if only the tarlys knelt
@@Nihilanth Dany didn’t need to burn them though
Yes he did, Jon is amazing
@@randycrawford1132 yes, she did
Jon was right to let the Karstarks and Umbers keep their homes. He gained loyalty for being kind but fair. They know he will kill them if they are disloyal.
True not the time, but also Jon had two weeks at least to tell his plan to Sansa; neither one of them are wrong and that's the friction.
Both were wrong but both are also too prideful to admit it.
It wasn't the hound who killed the family, all he did was knock the dad on his ass, maybe knocked him out for a bit. That's why he appeared to be groggy with a head injury. He told Arya they would be dead by winter, he was right.
@Cannibal Teddy they starved because of the winter and soldiers raiding. They were dead either way.
Thank you all for this idk why I thought he stab him but I just re-watch it and he knock him down but still he was wrong. If he never would have took the silver maybe they could have left that cottage and found shelter and food else where
@@MajorReacts - 🎯 100% Maj!
@@MajorReacts worst part about it imo is after arya stole that same bag of silver from the hound after brienne beat his ass, she took it to braavos and ended up throwing it in the river🤦🏽 they didn’t even use it
@@kayyyyooo6946 - Did it ever occur to you that the reason she tossed it in the river, was because to her it would be nothing but blood money?
Shoutout to Ed Shering the actress who plays Arya Maisie Williams wanted him. They show that Lannister soldiers aren’t all evil & armies are just poor people fighting for their lord. That song he was singing “hands of gold” is one of my favs it’s written for Tyrion & Shae but I think it applies to Jaime & Cersei more. & also pay attention to the fact that all the lord of light’s followers seem to know about the army of the dead. Remember that dagger in Gilly’s book? That was dagger used to try to kill Bran in season 1. Daenerys finally returning to Dragonstone her place of birth was a great scene!!
Didn't Tyrion have the Bard who came up with that song Assassinated?
you have no idea how quick I drop everything just to watch your videos. Glad to see you back and ready for the great content.
Me too!
Same!
This was some iconic shit Major! Arya came back and first thing she did was wiped out a whole house!!!!
#TheNorthRemebers!
Let's go! Good to see you're back, hope everything at your house got fixed 🍀
Arya with the Lannister army learned a powerful lesson. The common solider isn't the same as the leader giving the orders.
Alot of the cover up of the DA.because it was brought on by the church. They stop the study of science
That is the point band of brothers pointed out
Major: it's been so long since I watched Game of Thrones
Those of us who had to wait 2 years between seasons: 🙄😂
I always thought that throne at Dragonstone looks a lot cooler than the Iron Throne. If *I* overthrew Cersai, One of my first orders (after oaths of fealty haha) would be to have someone go bring that throne and install it in K.L.
But it's built into the wall? Why not just move the Capital to Dragonstone?
@@dqrr4150 regardless the Throne seems to be built into the wall
That's a lot of rock.
You are the best in recognizing voices; up till now of the reactors I saw, you came up the fastest with "Jorah", just when he began his sentence.
Regarding the farmer and daughter who died... we don't really know how they ended up starving to death. Earlier, the Hound did predict they wouldn't last the winter because they were alone and vulnerable (added to the fact farmer couldn't work the farm with just his little daughter). Remember what the Hound said? "Dead men don't need silver". So he believed that even with their silver they were still doomed to die.
He also didn't stab the farmer he only knocked him down.
They never starved. The father killed the girl then himself. You can see the knife.
@@ashscott6068 that is because they were starving. He did not kill his girl just for the lolz, the girl was suffering. Death from hunger is a real bitch, unlike dehydration it can take up to months of torture before you are finally gone.
Thank you all for this idk why I thought he stab him but I just re-watch it and he knock him down but still he was wrong. If he never would have took the silver maybe they could have left that cottage and found shelter and food else where
@@ashscott6068 They didn't die by starvation, but they certainly were starving. That was the reason why the father chose to end their suffering. (Beric even explains it in the scene).
Major ain't even know what to say when he seen all them stairs at dragonstone "damn"🤣🤣much love major great reaction hope the family good❤❤
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this! While some people have mixed feelings about this season I loved it. I think you’re really going to enjoy this! Great reaction as always.
I loved all of the show season 8 included. I wish we had more
Loved watching you figure out it was Arya!👍😂 she’s a savage
So happy to have you back on the GOT train!!
The Hound didn’t stab the father, he just hit him really hard and took his money. They died because The Hound was right about what he said to Arya when he did it; they wouldn’t survive the winter. They didn’t have enough food or enough manpower to farm what they needed to farm. They were barely making it before winter came. People in their situation commonly die in winter. It was nothing The Hound did.
Yea, unless the silver could have saved them from starving.
@@danielrodio9 the whole point was the money was worthless. Money does nothing for a person without the ability to travel and when the surrounding territory has been completely plundered. The money was worthless to them because there was nothing to buy. No food, and even if there was, the prices would have been so high there wouldn’t have been enough to last them a week. Forget purchasing a horse to try and move somewhere else, all the armies have taken all the horses.
This was to show what civil war does to a country. The common people were the one who suffered the most, with no recourse.
I agree, the Hound from a purely moral aspect shouldn’t have stolen from them. But he didn’t cause their deaths.
The Hound only stole the man’s silver! He didn’t stab him. He knocked him out and robbed him.
Love your reactions!
Jon was 100% right no child should pay for the sins of their fathers. Really awesome moment. But season 7 let’s Goooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
Ed Sheeran isn't the first musician to have a cameo. Members of Coldplay were in the balcony performing the music during the Red Wedding.
I was instantly happy when I saw that Game of Thrones notification pop up 👍
The song Ed Sheehan sings is from the books and has an interesting story.
Isn't it about the necklace and Shae, or am I crazy?
@@meghanmonroe the “hands of gold” part is about the Hand of the King pin (maybe it qualifies as a brooch?) that Tyrion wore while Tywin was fighting the war against Robb.
The song was written before Shae died. The guy who wrote it was using it to blackmail Tyrion about Shae. The musician wanted to play at Joffery's wedding.
There's another song from the books I like, and it's called The Last of the Giants and it's one youtube. The one I like is by Karliene, there's other versions though. It's sung during a part with Jon and Ygritte. When he's with the Wildlings.
Arya like Sansa learning from their encounters.....a humanizing moment for Arya.
Lets go! I recommend watching the intro of a new season, atleast once. Alot of new things on the map, and helps to put things in perspective.
100% agree. I think a lot can be missed by skipping...sometimes there are gems there, too!
Got yall thank you for this Gem 💎 bc I definitely be skipping to geek for the episode but I'll watch it and see what changed
@@MajorReacts- 😘😘😘
@@MajorReacts The only show that I never skipped the intro.
I do love how they do that jump scare of sam they make you realize the importance of dragon glass on dragon stone and then you click that Danny is arriving at dragon stone and the connection with Jon
I mean shouldn't the characters remember stuff some of the audience doesn't? Couldn't we get a scene where Sam is sending letters to Dragonstone (and other places with obsidian deposits) asking for Dragonglass? He should be sending requests for Dragonglass to everyone Lord he can even Euron and Cersei.
Welcome back! We know you miss watching as much as we miss your reactions. Hope all is well with the house situation 😊
Thank you Sandi it's still going but it's slow but we we're able to move back in. They still need to fix the roof but it's tarp up for now the insurance is slow with these things. But I'm happy to be back making vids
Sansa has every right to question Jon, it would be better if it was in private, but indications are Jon did not ask her her opinion prior to this meeting. Jon has done this before in other situations.
Sansa is also the Lady of Winterfell and Ned's daughter, the protection of the guest falls on her , she has more rights to question than any person in that hall.
Trust is going to be a huge thing .
Exactly! He keeps acting as if Sansa has no right to speak, and that she must defer to Jon in order to have an opinion. She is Lady of Winterfell, Jon should confide in her just as he keeps saying she needs to confide in him. Jon is a fighter, not a thinker.
@@Blasto2x - agreed and considering if it wasn’t for her he would have lost the Battle of the Bastards….he should consider her thoughts a bit more.
I agreed with Sansa… the Houses that joined with House Bolton during the Battle of the Bastards murdered almost all of their allies. The enemy survivors that participated in the battle should have been rounded up and at the very least exiled. No way am I going to allow men that killed my family and countrymen go unpunished.
@@MrMmitch32 if it weren't for Littlefinger and Royce you mean? What prey tell was stopped the Knights of the Vale declaring both Jon and Ramsey illegitimate Bastard Usurpers guilty of a number of horrible crimes (Kinslaying and Oathbreaking for example)
against the Realm and common decency. And then "Rescue Lady Stark" from her Wilding Loving Oathbreaking half brother. Or she could "die during the battle" almost certainly executed by her Half Brother and show her corpse to the Queen before returning her remains to Winterfell to be buried with the Rest of the (now extinct) Starks.
Then why doesn't she just go to Jon's room and tell him her opinion, why in public where everyone (including Littlefinger who Sansa doesn't trust) can see?
I knew I was gonna come from home work and watch this. It was a hard day, and the thing that pushed me though was knowing I could watch this when I got home. Why does some strangers reaction to GOT give me such happiness? Thank you for your reactions; they’re the best on UA-cam.
The beginning of the last two seasons, gonna be a wild ride! Here we go!
Tbh….Dragonstone has a better throne than the iron throne. I wished we could’ve seen more of Dragonstone early while Stannis was there.
The set designers probably didn't design it yet.
That intro was so epic!
By far the best opening of any episode.
Sansa should not question Jon in front of everyone like that. She should come to him in private to discuss those things.
The Hound is not at fault for the deaths of the man and daughter.
He did steal their money tho.
He told Arya "they'll be dead by winter" . And that was true.
Still really sad tho.
Great reaction as always.
Hope all is good with you my friend.
❤️😊
AHHHH YES....
THE "POOP & SOUP" SCENE
imo, the hardest scene to watch!
The Hound didn’t stab the father, he hit him & robbed him, but it left them destitute & when winter came they couldn’t survive
So glad to see you back!!! I've been waiting for this video!!! Let's GOOOOOO!!!

MAJORRRR. So excited to see this upload! Just finished a binge of all your thrones reactions so this is perfect timing!
I love Ed Sheeran's appearance in the show, people's reaction to seeing him usually crack me up.. he also played in The Bastard Executioner, he was in at least 3-4 episodes.. he also sang the theme song for the show
Fkn hell, my boy Tormund is in HEAT! 🤣🤣🤣
that's exactly what happened. we lost probably 100 years of knowledge but the worst was the burning of the great library at Alexandria
The Hound didn't stab the guy. Just bonked him on the head and took some silver. He felt horrible for it as you can see.
Really glad you're back man, hope everything with the house is going good
I never thought of the resurrected giant to be Wun Wun, (however you spell his name) they didn’t really look alike, but cool thought!
Well Wun Wun died at winterfell so it wouldn’t be him at all.
@@Cream-2128 I said it was a cool thought, no?
@@tynehazel007 Objection relevance? Sorry Tyne couldn't resist, 😁 yes you definitely did.
ayy! Catching this early early!
14:35 Sansa: You're good at this, you know. ... At ruling.
Me: Yeah, and you not! Sit down someplace!
I actually think they both are just in different styles
Tyrion Lannister and GRRM would verbally disagree with you and thrash you physically.
See what you would have missed if you had quit when Jon Snow "Died" :) Glad you stuck through it all!! One of my favorite GOT reactors!! :)
Dragonstone over Kingslanding every fuckin time!
Glad you're back! I've been waiting impatiently for more GoT reacts lmao
27:51 This never occurred to me, but TV Tropes pointed out that Arya was reluctant to partake of their food probably because she didn't want to be bound by sacred hospitality. If she shared their meal that would make her their guest, and she would thus be violating sacred hospitality if she ended up deciding to kill them. In her mind at least, that would make her no better than the Freys who murdered her family while they were guests under their roof and their protection.
So excited when I noticed you posted your reaction! I’ve been waiting patiently, so excited to experience this with you, you are by far my favourite GOT reactor! Thanks x
"Girl, Starks don't do well down South." Hilarious
Only 3:20 in and already spoiled by your unspoiled reaction, Thank you again to the moderators and your dedication !
Sansa made a good point in my opinion about the castles thing.... but in front of everyone isn't the place to negotiate about what should be done.
Jon obviously didn’t consult with her before he made his decision so when exactly is she to question him? The North is supposed to be all bluntness and straightforwardness, yet with Sansa she is only ever to speak in shadows behind closed doors? She is Lady of Winterfell and Ned Starks true born daughter. She was born in that castle and has every right to speak her mind whenever she chooses, not just sit there as an ornament.
@@Blasto2x I never said who was to blame for that. But showing disharmony, especially in front of people that would benefit from unrest is not wise. Regardless who does it.
@@jessajupiter4271 It’s only disharmonious because Jon instantly shoots down everything she says, even when she’s right. He’s not used to being questioned since being in a position of authority, and Sansa is tired of being a silent pawn in everyone elses game. She has something to say, she’ll say it. If Jon was so worried about harmony he would have came to her privately to discuss what should be done with traitor houses. Instead, he chose to not consult her and this was the result.
@@Blasto2x lmao whatever dude not going to argue about a fictional show. Especially when logic is on my side.
@@jessajupiter4271 What logic? You’ve failed to display that.
hi- it's your friendly resident medievalist here! the middle ages aka the "dark ages" were called that by victorian scholars. it wasn't really a bad time- plenty of stuff happened! the reason why later people would look back on that time as being a "dark" or "backwards" age is because it didn't compare with newfangled modern ideas of cleanliness/prosperity. also victorians were kind of super dicks about everything they didn't come up with. the main reasons why the middle ages gets called the dark ages are 1.) the roman empire, that had stretched all across eurasia and had provided trade goods, governments etc. very rapidly shrank back to the nearly modern confines of italy today. so it was basically a very reliable (not always great) government that had been in place for a few hundred years was basically gone in a decade or less. 2.) warring local and/or germanic groups took power repeatedly in the places the romans left and uh...botched it. real good. 3.) viking age starts around the 7th century, baaaaybeeee due to power vacuums and environmental pressures 4.) the church had a bunch of inner problems while at the same time tightening their control over the general populace of eurasia. so you know what that means! time for a crusade or 12! 5.) groups of superior horsemen/warriors from the eurasian steppes showed up and mopped the floor with people who had some really rickety local governments 6.) ancient world slavery practices morphing into medieval feudalism was SOMETHING 6.) cap all that off with waves of plague after plague after plague starting in the 1300's, which kind of got people questioning why they had to be tied to one lord's land or one church forever. generally speaking for a good 800 years, there was a LOT of change compared to the "relative stability" of life under roman rule. to your average farmer in the middle of france or croatia or whatever, life was fairly good most of the time, but if you were a king or a pope, best of luck, pal.
Excellent summation my friend Ignorance is bliss, wisdom is *Solemn(&)Grim*
Yeaah Welcome back Major! You will make it before House of the Dragon! These seasons have less episodes... Hope this isnt consider as a spoiler. Keep up the good work!! Hugs from The Netherlands
You're good! That's not a spoiler! These last seasons will go by quickly!
Sheeran is a huge fan of the show so they gave him a cameo.
My boy so excited he called this season 1 lol
I have said this about Arya . She is not sending Dragons, Assassins, soldiers or religious nuts . She coming for your ass Herself
Hey Major!
If no one has mentioned it , the Hound didn't stab that guy. He just beat him up & took his bag of coins.
He also predicted their fate while arguing with Arya. I think the whole scene reads differently when you realize that.
Go back to the first scene, then re-watch this scene...You might have a whole different set of emotions.
Keep up the great vids, & can't wait for the new show!!!
BRING ON THE DRAGONS!!! 🤘🤪
The NK been building his army for decades if not more; plenty of time to get giants.
Yaaaaay!! I've been literally waiting everyday for you to drop Season 7!!❤️❤️❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Oh, I didn't even think of that!
If Lady Olenna stayed in King's Landing, she would have died along with the rest of her family...
Goes to show again that Margaery was right in urging her to go home...
I liked Margaery. Would have liked to see how things would have gone if she didn't die. She was smart. But unfortunately got trapped because of others not as smart... ... ...
I've always wondered how the Roman empire advanced so far with technology and then when they fell we went backwards.
The reason Arya can perfectly imitate Walker Frey, is because the faceless men include acting classes in their training. Somewhere between sweeping the floors and washing the bodies, new recruits must achieve credits in “Intro to imitation” “Maxing out Mannerisms” and “How to fit into their clothes”
almost deleted as a book spoiler. it stays!
Magic
The guys playing at the red wedding were from a band as well. Can't remember.... ? Coldplay!
Yes, that was Ed Sheeran. He was Maise's birthday present from the show runners. Oh, Maisie Williams is Arya Stark actress name.
Both Jon and Daenerys are heavily linked in the story. Both started from low position Daenerys a little girl under her brother's control Jon a bastard. Both sent away from home. Both had supernatural things happen to them, Jon comes back from death, Daenerys gives birth to dragon, both free people who are struggling, Jon frees the Wildlings from living outside the wall where they have no protection from the white walkers, while Daenerys frees slaves...both lead armies across areas that they are sort of barred from: Jon brings the Wildlings across the wall, Daenerys brings Dothraki who are seen as savages. Both become powerful leaders over time, both are Targaryens and have a claim to the throne...
It wasn't what the Hound did to them. He didn't stab that guy. He just robbed him of some silver. He stabbed that old guy that was dying for mercy.
regarding musicians showing up in GoT: Coldplay's drummer was part of the house band at the Red Wedding and a couple guys from the metal band Mastodon were wildlings at Hardhome, lmao
The musicians at the Purple Wedding were the band Sigur Ros.
@@phoenixfox2697 haha yeah i forgot about that one!
When Arya was hanging out with the Lannister soldiers, It was showing that they're just normal regular guys with regular lives and it was giving Aria a glimpse into the humanity side of who they are and not just a name of their house and army
Haha oh man the much dreaded Ed Sheeran cameo 😆. The Hands of Gold song that he's singing is actually a nice song from the book about Tyrion and Shae. But if you listen to the lyrics, you can easily apply it to the story of Jaime travelling through hell and highwater to reunite with Cersei. The lyrics and the tune almost feel like it's half ironic half admiring, like the reaction King's Landing always had to the brother's undying love for their queen. The song being put in the show this late obviously lead to all the predictions about how Jaime and Cersei's story will end. The scene itself is a nice touch to humanize rank and file Lannister soldiers.
Ever since I had a daughter, I cannot watch anything bad that happens to children without crying or almost crying.
This is crazy, I remember when you first started the series and now you're almost done! I'm so excited to hear your opinions on the last two seasons.
I finally made it to the end of the playlist lol… I’m very excited to continue this journey with you… it’s been amazing watching your emotions and reactions so far… the absolute best reaction channel out here 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's the house where he bashed him over the head and took what little silver he had and left him and his daughter to fend for themselves and he told Aria that that they will be dead by winter
Nah man skipping the intro is treason lol and welcome back dude!!
I wanted Arya to rescue Lord Edmure, her uncle, from the dungeon at the Frey’s Twins there. But, I guess she didn’t know he was locked up there. Or, we just didn’t see it. And, By eliminating all the men of house Frey does that make Edmure head of house Frey?
Winter came Three Seasons ago and it's stalking the Hound he needs to find out if the Red God can file a restraining order against a season.
I’m not sure how you’ve managed to avoid spoilers, but I LOVE your reactions. First video I’ve seen by you, but I love 👏🏻
I think what makes Jon and Sansa somewhat at odds with one another is that Jon is honorable like Ned and Robb and plans on always being honorable like that. BUT Sansa basically was half raised in Kings Landing and understands the otherwise of politics and political movement is sneaky and not honorable. Remember who she's been mostly been around for the past ~5 years of her life and whose been giving her advice: Cersei and Littlefinger. She's skeptical, which you can't blame her for bc Honor got her father and brother killed and she wants Jon to realize honor isn't everything. Also, Jon is very stubborn and she is one of his advisors and he doesn't fully vet her on his decisions. Let's not forget he was fully prepared to go into a fight with a much smaller army that would've ended with him dead b/c once again, he was being honorable.
in the books when Arbor Gold is used people are usually tricking people. No surprise Arya used that on the Freys.

The group Of Monsters and Men were playing in the episode with theatre in Braavos. (their most well known song is Little Talks). And there have been some other singers too before. And I think Coldplay (or some of them) were musicians at Red Wedding.
