Hi, did you see there are useful video chapters so that you can immediately see the video section of your interest ? Also the charts show quite clearly the performances based on the benchmarks I ran. There is a tremendous amount of work behind a video like this, there are surely things to improve but that's my style ;) it doesn't have to be appreciated by everyone
I concur thhe Kingston KC3000 is without doubt the value king also as of (in UK): 2023 Feb_Kingstyon KC3000 1TB is 80GBP which is a pretty amazing 50% drop over the time since released. On par/exceeds speeds to like for like competitors such as: Samsung 980 PRO 110GBP, WD Black SN850x 106GBP., Crucial P5 87GBP (as smidge slower r/w)....so blooming well done Kingston for this fast and very well priced Nvme M.2. Only now beaned in speeds by the Samsung 990 Pro but at 135GBP really isn't worth considering due to 5-10% lab bench speeds NEVER noticeable in the real world but a 70% price premium.
Thanks, btw the 990 pro was not yet fully available at the time of this video review that's why I was referring to the top performer at that time: the 980 pro
You might live in your own world, but in the real world lots people are interested and asked me for this comparison. Understanding whats the gap between a performing HDD and an SSD helps lots of people in deciding what to do depending on their needs. Some HDD are totally usable in gaming and you have an amount of space that simply cannot be obtained by SSDs ;) and by the way I don't care about the views while most people do , I just do it for fun
Was really impressed by its performances, what about you ?
Sorry but your video is to hard to watch, with all the fancy visual 😔 distractions, keep it more simple

This is a bit late, but is it a good choice for the PS5?

If you want more views - then compare apples to apples in your review. kthx

Can the Acronis software that comes with the kc3000 only be used for the hard disk of Kingston?
Or can all brands of hard drives be used?
Yes only for those
I hv the 2tb version as my main drive. Very snappy indeed not losing to the best ssd out there
Totally agree with you
