    Let me know below if you guys own one and can you confirm it's noisy at max pump speed

      I've heard a fair amount of Bykski leaking. I am build a new hard tube EK system now and would like to add one of these. They at least look very cool. Have you had any issues with yours? Do you leave your rig on 24/7? Thanks!

      Hi I am still using the cpu wb from. Bykski you see in my video review in the channel, a barrow pump and this flow meter and never had any leaks in years. I am anyway using soft tubing as you see.
      I run my rig about 8/10hrs a day

    I have this product Just shows temperature, water flow speed and revs per second. If by chance your water pump runs below a specific revs there is an annoying flashing ALERT screen. Any true PC water cooling enthusiuast will NOT like this feature. Abysmal

    Would using this reduce my flow rate with it on vs with out it?(or any flow meter) Would i have to increase the pump speed to compensate?

      @@digitallantern593 A d5 pump will have a maxinum flow rate of 26 l/m just by itself. After your loop is finished you should aim for a flow rate of ~3.7 l/m. Anything restrictive in your loop will lower that. Your flow rate is low, you must have a lot of things in your loop.. quick disconnect fittings are a big flow rate killer.

    Un gadget... carino da vedere, non utile se si desidera estrarre dei dati e passarli alla scheda madre. Alimentazione molex? Ma serio??

    • @fgtechtips
      @fgtechtips  3 місяці тому

      Non proprio un gadget ma lo ritengo uno strumento di vitale importanza. Innanzitutto è l'unico strumento che ti permette di misurare e visualizzare in tempo reale la termerarura del liquido di raffreddamento e la velocità del suo flusso all'interno del loop. Ma soprattutto utilissimo l'allarme integrato che mi ha salvato un paio di volte quando avevo inavvertitamente staccato l'alimentazione della pompa

    • @ThomasWinders
      @ThomasWinders 3 місяці тому

      @@fgtechtips se fossimo stati nel 2010 ti avrei dato ragione a mani basse, ma da qualche anno ormai le pompe sono pwm e hanno quantomeno il sensore tachimetrico, si possono collegare direttamente alla scheda madre e sono anche modulabili - persino la mia laing dcc che ha una corrente di spunto di 2A: imposti l'allarme direttamente da BIOS e non hai bisogno di altro. La temperatura? Alcune schede madri hanno dei connettori per collegare una o più sonde termometriche. Le info sul flusso sono relative... Se quest'affare avesse avuto che ne so, un connettore USB per collegarlo alla scheda madre ed ottenere le info almeno sulla temperatura su smbus, allora sarebbe stato in parte utile, perché modulare le ventole in base alla temperatura del liquido è una cosa intelligente da fare. Oltretutto ti dirò la verità: schermino OLED? Considerando il tempo che sta acceso mediamente, Vedrai tra meno di un anno o due se non soffrirà di ghosting...

    • @fgtechtips
      @fgtechtips  3 місяці тому

      @@ThomasWinders forse non hai visto che il video è del 2021, lo schermo è perfetto come il primo giorno. La mia pompa è ovviamente pwm ma anche con controllo e regolazione manuale ma non è quello il punto. È sicuramente più comodo vedere tutto in un unico dispositivo direttamente all'interno del case piuttosto che montare sonde separate, usare software di monitoring eccetera eccetera. Discorso diverso se non ti interessa sapere la temperatura del liquido né la velocità del flusso oppure hai il case per terra o non a vista, puoi sicuramente farne a meno. Cmq utilissimo anche nel 2024 fidati ;)

      @@fgtechtips dagli ancora qualche tempo, gli oled fanno tutti quella fine specialmente quelli che mostrano sempre la stessa immagine (parlo per esperienza). È un gadget ed è anche carino da vedere, anche se leggere i dati su un display da 2" non è il massimo. E ad onoor del vero il tuo video l'ho trovato perché cercavo una recensione del prodotto, a cui ero interessato. La sicurezza la fai da bios a priori, poi puoi aggiungere per estetica quelli che vuoi... L'unica nota positiva di questo gadget è che non costa un rene, come solitamente fanno gli articoli in fascia enthusiast, ma 30€ è abbastanza onesto come prezzo.

    • @fgtechtips
      @fgtechtips  3 місяці тому +1

      In realtà sbagli, il ghosting non c'entra niente, al limite il problema degli OLED è il burn in, se ti informi sulle TV ad esempio capirai meglio cosa intendo ;) si cmq per questo prezzo stracciato lo trovo stra utile, dopo 3 anni è ancora perfetto

    How would you use this to adjust fan curve based on coolant temperature. Is there a plug into T-sensor? Or would you need a stop plug with temperature sensor for that as well
