Thank you, I had an interview this afternoon and at 57 I hadn't do an interview in some 30 yrs but while I was getting dress I was listening to this video. Some of the question ask were topic of this video and yes this video was helpful. after the interview it seems the interviewer was impress, he even said, "prepare for a call."

its 2024 and these cookie cutter questions need to be phased out since it tells you very little about the applicant. questions like "why do you want to work here" forces us to lie and give BS answers and only shows how well we can kiss butt. i'd much rather answer questions about a hypothetical situation and what I would do to try to solve it or take some kind of test to actually prove that I'm capable of doing this job. these same old questions are mostly good at finding out how good someone is at interviews or how good of a talker someone can be, which makes sense if the position is sales or something similar. employers always say they want a problem solver or someone with great attention to detail, but they do little to try to screen for that. with these questions, employers arent hiring the most qualified, they're just hiring the most impressive speaker.

These interview answers are too long and rehearsed sounding. They look great on paper for a written response, but fall apart in the conversational style of interviews when you’re seeking to make a connection with whoever’s talking to you. If you word vomit them like this they’re likely to tune out and lose interest. Keep the answers shorter and more sincere sounding to give the interviewer a chance to see what you’re actually like. This stuff sounds like a cover letter in verbal format, which is not the point of the interview and will likely be a “turn off” I think you’re providing a lot of value to people by doing what you do and it’s easy for me to just write this comment, I know how much work goes into these videos. Much respect.
Be yourself and answer honestly, but hopefully my content can help those that are more than capable of doing the job well, but aren't good at interview technique and cannot portray that they have the skillset :)
Sample Answer Entry-Level Candidate "Hi, I’m [Your Name], a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science from [University Name]. During my studies, I developed strong programming skills, particularly in Python, Java, and web development. its 2024 and these cookie cutter questions need to be phased out since it tells you very little about the applicant. questions like "why do you want to work here" forces us to lie and give BS answers and only shows how well we can kiss butt. i'd much rather answer questions about a hypothetical situation and what I would do to try to solve it or take some kind of test to actually prove that I'm capable of doing this job. these same old questions are mostly good at finding out how good someone is at interviews or how good of a talker someone can be, which makes sense if the position is sales or something similar. employers always say they want a problem solver or someone with great attention to detail, but they do little to try to screen for that. with these questions, employers arent hiring the most qualified, they're just hiring the most impressive speaker.

When's your interview?
These interview answers are too long and rehearsed sounding.
They look great on paper for a written response, but fall apart in the conversational style of interviews when you’re seeking to make a connection with whoever’s talking to you. If you word vomit them like this they’re likely to tune out and lose interest. Keep the answers shorter and more sincere sounding to give the interviewer a chance to see what you’re actually like. This stuff sounds like a cover letter in verbal format, which is not the point of the interview and will likely be a “turn off”
I think you’re providing a lot of value to people by doing what you do and it’s easy for me to just write this comment, I know how much work goes into these videos. Much respect.
Be yourself and answer honestly, but hopefully my content can help those that are more than capable of doing the job well, but aren't good at interview technique and cannot portray that they have the skillset :)
