I don’t trust anyone that says La Squadra isn’t the best group of minor antagonists in whole series.
The only group I'd call more iconic is the Pillar Men, but they were major antagonists and not minor

Also, they’re not part of La Squadra, but I really liked Tiziano and Squalo. They looked like they had an actually functional and supportive relationship, which is really nice.

You may have nothing much to say on Melone's character, but one thing I noticed the most about him is how he hid his creepiness behind a cold and professional facade. He also appears to be very jaded, being completely unfazed by Ghiaccio's constant screaming and handling his Stand in such a calculated manner through selective breeding. Also, I found it oddly cute the way he taught the newborn Junior how to kill with children books.
There's also one detail about him in the manga that Davpro unfortunately didn't animate: his hand actually trembled a bit when he saw Prosciutto's corpse. It's such a tiny detail, but I think it shows how he actually felt about his teammates. In the anime, it looked like he's just unfazed by Pesci and Prosciutto's death

@@PKmaster12 Oh definitely. Pretty much everyone in La Squadra Esecuzione genuinely cares about each other. Melone is jaded and doesn't show much vulnerability, but that doesn't mean he's unfazed by the deaths of his friends.

Ironic how the Villains did not really harm any people (excluding grateful death) and then you have a Narancia as a protagonist who is just kicking a poor pissed off Civilian, with Mista and Abbachio
The sad thing is that if Bruno's gang had learned about the Boss's true intentions before Formaggio attacks Narancia, they and La Squadra could work together.
Except probably Melone, since Giorno would hate him the moment he realizes his ability pretty much involves rape.

@@bobboi3507 True, but Purple Haze doesn't appear often for that exact reason. Fugo knows it's dangerous for him and his team, so he only ever uses it when he's desperate, such as during the fight against Illuso.

The Mettalica vs King Crimson fight was the only time I was ever mad at the main characters, especially Narancia. I know it's illogical and that they had no idea of what was going up there besides someone was breathing, but Risotto was sooo close to avenging his team, only to get cucked by Aerosmith. If only they just showed up a tad bit later.

I can’t tell you the amount of people who don’t understand how truly amazing it is we got this many great villains in what’s only the first half of Vento Aureo
I think that Araki would bring this back in SBR to a different level. The SBR minor villains are much more determined in their own goals which make for interesting characters but subtracts from the La Squadra style where the villains are like our group of stand users. Both work and both are interesting

"La Squadra really isn't too different from our own group" is the perfect way to go about this. After the anime I also picked up that feeling; that would probably be Buccellati's gang if they were, you know, much less noble.
I love just how much the anime adds to the dynamics of the Squadra members, they are dicks but they care about each other, and I love that Risotto leads a democracy where everyone gets a fair share even if not everybody participated on the killing, lol.

It's my head canon that if Mistah hadn't destroyed Bucciarati's "Rolling Stone," That Risotto would have killed the boss in the fight. It would make sense, since Bucciarati was the only one "dead" by that time.
Yeah that makes sense. Risotto's death lead to Abbacchio's death just because he couldn't kill Diavolo/Doppio. Then that also lead to Narancia's death for the same reason. TLDR Risotto was the key to everything and if he were alive things would probably be fine.

To be Honest, La Squadra as a Group have better Stand abilities as a whole when compared to Bucciarati's Group.
So true, if la squadra are the protagonist, they could easily win w/out plot armor lmao
Ciocolatta's Green Day, Squalo's Clash and maybe Notorious BIG could have all probably been stopped by Ghiaccio just freezing everything with White Album (this would theoretically kill/incapacitate the mold and Notorious, and reduce Clash's range significantly by turning all liquids into solids). Formaggio could help beat Notorious as well by shrinking it down constantly to prevent it from growing too much. Pesci's Beach Boy could be used to track and restrain Secco while he's underground. Tiziano's Talking Head doesn't really have a specific counter that I know of, but it's pretty much useless unless its victim has information on the boss or the Elite Guard and their abilities. And while King Crimson is arguably overpowered, Illuso can just bring Diavolo into the mirror world so that he cannot use it properly and kill him there.
So, I think it's safe to say that, in the right conditions, La Squadra would have obliterated the boss should Team Bucciarati not have intervened.
If they fought in pairs they would absolutely win

I love how how he goes ballistic over the smallest things, and his stand is pretty cool (no pun-intended) and unique due to being a suit stand. Which we only ever see repeated with Secco later on in the same part and Magenta Magenta in part 7.
Least Favorite: Illuso
His character is pretty boring and he doesn’t really have anything that makes him stand out. Though I do love his stand’s design as well as its music reference.
Illuso had *_R E S O L V E_* but he still died so I felt kinda bad for him :(

I feel the same for Illuso. His design is nice and his Stand is cool, but there's not much about him besides that. Also, i really dislike his voice in the anime.

My favorite thing about Ghiaccio is that he has the same voice actor as Bakugo from BNHA, that guy got typecast as the angry dude and it's hilarious.

Something I thought about Pesci and Prosciutto, their stands weren’t suited to themselves, they were suited to eachother. Grateful Dead is area of effect, essentially a weapon that kills cleanly and impersonally, and is best used from hiding. Pesci’s timidity suits this kind of power, whereas Prosciutto risked putting himself in harms way rather than outrunning the clock, while Beach Boy is a stand that offers precise and lethal attack, but no defense. A power like that means the user has to strike first. A moment’s hesitation means death, and even with his newfound conviction, Pesci’s emotions made him pause, but Prosciutto has no hesitation to kill, by the time he says it, it’s already done.

It’s strange head-canon type stuff. But as someone who has it myself, I think Ghiaccio has Aspergers. Araki more than likely didn’t have this in mind. But I just notice that Ghiaccio does show the symptoms.
I agree 100%, also as someone who has it. It's interesting because he shows it in ways that you don't normally see in autistic characters in fiction. Also, I can name at least a couple other characters who could arguably be autistic - Jotaro and Okuyasu - and they're all treated as relatively normal in the context of the series.

I like la squadra a lot, and never really saw them as evil, or truly bad people. They are very similar to bucciaratis team in a lot of ways, and I think they were very cool characters
The fact that if they knew about the boss betrayal they might have been convinced into joining the jobros is one of the things that made me fall in love with them

What if Formaggio shrunk Prosciutto down, then prosciutto crawled into a target or simply hung onto their clothing and used Grateful Dead? It'd be a slow but deadly kill that most stand users wouldnt be able to deal with. How would one combat a stand that they cant see, and cant fight without potentially harming themselves. All the while on a time limit?

I'm a little saddened that Risotto wasn't given a backstory in the anime, specially now that Cioccolata was given an extended one, but in the end I think it's better for him to remain a mysterious individual.
Cioccolata didn't KINDA had a back one. I think he's pannel was to describe he's own mentality as a character. Rissito gets one but is been writting in the manga behind the end of the metalica fight (i think) the reason why he became a assassin was beacuse he felt empty in the inside and had nothing to do with his live after he's sisters death.

As an oldest sibling, Prosciutto 'manhandling' Pesci as you put it is pretty much just part of showing not exactly caring about them, but trying to help them learn from something. Pros only ever hit Pesci (as far as I remember- I dont exactly memorize the specifics of every fight lol) right before telling him what he had done wrong, a sort of warning? or punishment I guess for doing something wrong in an attempt to make what Prosciutto was trying to get across stick better, kind of like the way you'd train a dog or teach a young kid manners, if they do something wrong they get scolded, but if they do something right they get a reward (in Pesci's case it was Prosciutto's support and praise)
forgot to say it, but I mentioned the eldest sibling thing in the beginning because Prosciutto is seen as a sort of older brother to Pesci

La squadra try to find the boss and end him, Bruno's team try to stop them. When all of them die, Bruno's team know about the boss, they became the one who try find and end the boss

Prosciutto's defining trait, I feel, is his professionalism. Compared to literally everyone else, he's the most concerned with beign a professional gangster and takes his position 100% seriously, and its why he can be respectable despite doing horrible things.
also the bait and switch with making Pesci the 'true threat' of the arc rather than Prosciutto is great.
