I agree, for dedicated focus pulling it wouldn’t be the fastest solution, but for general monitoring I think it’s really versatile, especially at the price point!
yeah, not ideal for focus-pulling. I did the math quickly if anyone is wondering: at 24fps, 80ms of latency is 2 frames. 110mm will equal 3 frames, plus whatever lag the camera adds. so at best, this is only 1 frame slower than the Hollyland and Accson solutions.
Thank you for the video. My friends and I often go live on UA-cam in our gym, with the laptop setting out of the way and my mirrorless camera tethered to it. We can obviously only take the camera away from the laptop the distance of the cable. If we hook this to the camera and the laptop, will we be able to untether and walk around the gym with the camera while streaming?
I haven’t tested this yet, but if you can get an HDMI feed to your laptop, and you’re using a program that can “screen share” like OBS for streaming, then yes it should work!
Hello. Excellent explanation of how it works. I have a question for you: many devices with these characteristics only work in P (progressive) did you test if it works in I (interlaced) I need it to work in 1920 x 1080 50 I
The compact device that I needed. Really useful when being able to share the image being shot with many people in the crew. DJI is increasingly meeting the needs of users.
Thank you for great review. I am interested in using it when I make aviation related videos. I do fly frequently on small airplane and when I mount my cameras on different spots I just can’t see myself on that camera screen. So this would be a good solution to see myself and do some corrections if needed.
Looking for solution whereby we can use the iPhone x SDR for live streaming with multiple cameras for our platform. Would love to receive a kit to test our use case as no dealer knows how this will work..
I would love to use the TX / RX Combo along with the Mobile / Tablet mounting options to create a very lightweight portable Directors monitor for smaller client shoots with an iPad. This is great as it's a more affordable option as compared to building out a proper directors monitor with a monitor, cage, and battery solution. This as its very compact and easy to travel with! @Lowp3z
Hi David, I send you many positive vibes and blessings, I would use it to create content for weddings and social events so I can finish paying for my college.🙏🏼
Hey does anyone know if these units can control REC START/STOP when connected to the camera via HDMI. So for example you could hit record in the ronin app when connected via WIFI and the camera would begin recording.
For some reason I get an error of power when trying to power the transmitter from my gimbal. Do you have it? It says that there’s not enough juice to power it.

@nicolasgarciaferrari I work in live news productions. We connect cameras to transmitters (LiveU, Aviwest) whose operation depends on the available internet network. In places with large crowds (demonstrations, concerts, etc.), the network gets congested, and there is no bandwidth. If the transmitter (LiveU, Aviwest) could be moved to a Wi-Fi connection point or away from the crowd, it works. Do you think it will work? I use PAL, does it work at 25fps?
