@@triplex6915 Remission means they cant find any cancer cells in the tests they do. So when the doctors say "someone has been in remission for 5 years" that means they have not found any cancer cells during those 5 years. The problem with cancer in general but specially for leukemia and the likes (cancers that are spread out over different/large/multiple areas) are that if the chemo-therapy dont destroy all cancer cells - it will come back by slowly spreading from the few cancer cells that survived. The rule is 5 years of remission to be able to say "cured of cancer" because there is a chance that the cancer returns during those years after the treatments. You can never truly promise that someone is cured but they just say it because the chance of the cancer returning after 5 years of remission is so small.
Life is just soooooo cruel for some people. Imagine, both your children having cancer. Supposing the cancer returns? Does not bear thinking about. Such a brave, brave, remarkable lady. Bless her!!!
this is so so heartbreaking i swear. i wish sicknesses never ever even existed i swear.. nobody deserves it💔. i’ll be praying so so much for everyone going thru things like this🙏🏻✝️❤️ i hope they never ever forget that god/jesus are so beyond amazing and they have everyone thru everything always and forever ❤❤ i hope they never forget how strong and beautiful and amazing they are 🩷🩵❤♾️
Oh this is so unfair. Poor woman, can't believe both of her daughters with the same disease. All the best going forward.

Yep, my dad did the math at the end of my cancer treatment and figures that if we lived in the states it would have been over 2 million dollars.
