I bought mine in 1999 I believe, same color. For me, the best advantages are 1) it is really easy to get a tight fit and 2) you can flip the lever between sets to get your breath. Overall, you get an extremely tight fit and you don't spend all day reefing on the tag end of a normal belt. I broke the lever this year and for a few bucks shipping, Inzer sent me a new lever and screws. Great service on a 14 year old product. After all of these years, it hasn't lost any stiffness or effectiveness, they really are a lifetime product.
Agreed! I see people struggle with prongs to get tight enough (usually have to have another person help), not to mention the pain of getting it off again.
Just received my belt Monday and used it for the first time during deadlift day on Tuesday. I had it too tight, but it added crazy intra-abdominal pressure, which is what I use it for. Loosened it one notch for hang power cleans today. We'll see how it goes.
@@burekskremicem That comment from 9 years ago? 🤣🤣🤣 I have a ton of videos with that belt from back then. Go check them out. Warning--I was in just my underwear a lot back then for some reason. 😆
They wait till the dragons are at least 15 years old before they harvest the leather to make sure its the right thickness. Inzer dragons for 10 mm. For 13 mm belts they have to hunt the rare Terror Blight dragons. Ben Rice the Weight Wizard plays a big part in tracking them down.
Brandon, I am glad I came upon your channel! You are awesome and I REALLY love all your lifting videos. All the motivation one needs to get pushing the weights! Keep up the excellent work.
I've had my 10mm Inzer for 6 years now, and it's still in excellent condition. The downsides to the lever buckle is the metal of the lever is poorly finished with rough and sharp edges. Also, adjusting the size requires unscrewing 2 screws, which takes about 2 minutes.
Hey Brandon! I heard from other channels that the 10mm is preferred for competitive power lifters because that's the size allowed in competition. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I love what you did with the intro!
Great review Brandon! A lot more thorough than most, and a real in depth look at your personal experience with it, really enjoyed the video! Absolutely advocate 13mm Lever.
I find I have a good amount of room. You have to remember that these belts are meant to be quite tight as is. However if you're concerned your waist gets bigger when bulking, a larger size might be more desirable.
Dude, I was just filling out a comment on how I ordered on immediately after I hit 315 last week. My $30 sports authority, velco belt ain't doing shit for over 300lbs. Good luck on the lift!
IMO it's going to differ from person to person, but if you're serious about strength training and the major compound lifts, then it's a good investment.
Inzer's site says to allow up to 6 weeks, if they have to assemble/make the item before they send it to you. When I ordered mine, I got it in black, and that was the only one they had in stock. If you ordered a different color, that may be the reason it took so long, as they still had to make it before sending it out :P
Just bought the Inzer 13mm black from House of Pain. I really wanted the Navy Blue bit didn't want to way 6 weeks or however long! Got 2nd Day Air for a Total of $118.00, can't wait to get it.
Hi Brandon, thanks for the response. Not the prongs into the belt, but on the other side where the metal contacts metal when I close the belt. It just would not catch or lock into place... Not sure if it needs to be broken in
Hey Brandon have you checked out the Inzer PR belt? Its just like yours except you can adjust the tightness of the belt anytime you want. I think it goes for 140 dollars on their website.
I just bought my belt and I am so excited. I also got the Royal Blue. Such a awesome look it has. Brandon Campbell should be start wearing belt when when squat above out body. I'd like to hear your opinion on this matter.
Hmm, it should seat pretty well, although clasping/unclasping should be pretty easy. If you put it on and close it and do some body weight squats does it open?
I got mine in a week! Seems like once they charge you, it will be shipped by then. Consider it that I got the black so it came pretty fast! This belt is awesome too, lol I didn't have problem taking it out etc. it's pretty comfortable.
It doesn't appear to be one solid piece of leather at 3:33 - it appears as though they have the base 10mm thickness, then a 3mm thickness addition that gets laminated, plus the two outer pieces.
mine just came in the mail today! out of pure excitement i rushed to set up the belt and put it on. i cant take it off now... it needs some serious breaking in haha
if you look closely the 2 front hooks are exactly that ''hooks'' just push it forward and will come off with ease btw brandon does it ever dig into your hip bones when going atg? its a great belt feels like a bear is hugging you best support ever

i got a single prong inzer belt for 4 bucks at a garage sale and its in mint condition. im inlove with it :)
nice!
you lucky piece of shit
This belt is helpful when working with heavy loads. Progressive overload means continuing to up the weight ;)

How did it go bro? Don't leave us hanging.

You don't hunt ben rice, he hunts you.
Thanks for watching dude!
appreciate the kind words!
Thanks man! It's really great that you reply to all the questions you get. You're very helpful and I am grateful for your time!
I got the same one Brandon. I've used it for about 6 weeks and it's getting more comfortable. It is very secure! Awesome video!
haha I like how you casually added that "that's what she said" joke
Appreciate you commenting Josh, it's the least I can do.
Thanks Brandon! I've reallly been considering this belt. This was a big help when I get the extra cash I'm getting the royal blue as well!
Brandon, I am glad I came upon your channel! You are awesome and I REALLY love all your lifting videos. All the motivation one needs to get pushing the weights! Keep up the excellent work.
Just got my LIME GREEN Inzer in the mail today! Only took 6 days. Thanks for the review!
Thank you, was debating on a good belt to buy. You sold me on this one
It's solid, but I prefer Pioneer these days.
Both sides are and I haven't seen any issues with color distortion.
This is a medium and I've since moved in several notches. Perfect size for me.

you can buy the Pioneer PAL 2.0 adjustable lever and fit it to your Inzer belt.
I'm 6'4" 220 with a similar waist. I went with the medium and it's been perfect for me.

It's worth it's weight in GOLD....love mine!!! Nice review...Keep up the good work B!!!

Not sure. If you're that worried about it I'd suggest taking a picture of you measuring it and sending it to Inzer.
I find I have a good amount of room. You have to remember that these belts are meant to be quite tight as is. However if you're concerned your waist gets bigger when bulking, a larger size might be more desirable.
Each federation has it's own rules regarding equipment. Def something to think about.

Glad you think so!
It's going to differ from person to person, but if you're consistently working with optimal loads (for you), I think it's a sound investment.
Haha I'm sure we all had that "oh shit" moment thinking we'd never get it off.
Yes although I'm not sure if he has the 10mm or 13mm.
IMO it's going to differ from person to person, but if you're serious about strength training and the major compound lifts, then it's a good investment.
Ha I narrowed it down to the royal blue, the pink or the red/white/blue.
I don't suggest using these as a way to bypass issues, I'd see if it's form related first!
I saw the title, looking forward to watching it!
My inzer belt is on the way! Can't wait. Great videos by the way, keep it up.
Personal preference but if you're working with 85-95% on most days it's a wise investment IMO

Josh just bought me an inzer! I love it soooo much, my new babyyyy. I got stuck when I first tried on my belt lol. Good review Brandon!
Right on, good choice!
I usually do the same with all my equipment. Start on the cheaper end and upgrade over time.
I find this one to be perfect for me and I've moved it in some notches since. These should be worn pretty tight.
As long as you're getting stronger that's all that matters!
Hope you like it!
appreciate the feedback!
I saw that. I don't adjust my belt as is (some like different fits for DL or squats).
Hi Brandon, thanks for the response. Not the prongs into the belt, but on the other side where the metal contacts metal when I close the belt. It just would not catch or lock into place... Not sure if it needs to be broken in
It's up to you.
Hey Brandon have you checked out the Inzer PR belt? Its just like yours except you can adjust the tightness of the belt anytime you want. I think it goes for 140 dollars on their website.
If it's a chronic pain I'd say you should take a look at form as it's likely an issue.
Glad you like it!

That's what she said
“You might need help getting it out. Maybe a screwdriver.” 🤭
Your reviews are always helpful. Thanks man.!

Yeah the Grizzly belt I show was from there!
I don't look at them to correct form issues, more to just reinforce core.
Thanks Steve!
I've used both and lever def is easier to get tighter IMO and easier to take off.
watching these old videos and the new brandon really hasnt changed at all still the same old dad jokes haha
Damn it!
You're going to love the wrist straps when you get em
Thanks for the review Brandon! My brother and I just ordered ourselves one! (:
Great investment!
I based it just above my hips. I went with the smaller size as my waist typically doesn't get much bigger.
Sure thing dude!
Agreed!
Thanks Jr!
I might look at another brand in this case as I'm sure shipping would be quite costly.
Thanks Billy.
Yeah I'm not sure why it's so long to ship there! Same thing happens when I ship shirts there.
I've been looking to get one these belts. Thanks for the review Brandon.
Red, white, and blue. Couldn't resist.
Your best bet would likely be to call and speak to a customer assistance rep! However, maybe I'll do a video on this.
Get some slight discomfort, but I only wear it during the set so it doesn't bother me much.
Got my 10mm lever belt several years ago when it was less than $70. Best money spent on any gym gear.
nice!!
Yeah one solid piece! Some other brands you'll have multiple pieces. It's leather with a suede finish.
I got mine in a week! Seems like once they charge you, it will be shipped by then. Consider it that I got the black so it came pretty fast! This belt is awesome too, lol I didn't have problem taking it out etc. it's pretty comfortable.

I'll prob make it longer next time.
Awesome Brandon, I'm really considering investing in one now, seems like the belt of a lifetime!
lol appreciate you watching.
Sounds solid!
Excellent review, you cover all of the important things about this belt.
Just going to be tough at first like I mentioned, just working them in and out will help!
They do!
Pushing out does make your core as tight as possible ;)
agreed!
It doesn't appear to be one solid piece of leather at 3:33 - it appears as though they have the base 10mm thickness, then a 3mm thickness addition that gets laminated, plus the two outer pieces.
It may appear that way to you, but that's incorrect.
Hah yeah there were a lot of those moments this video, didn't want to over do it!
are you making sure that it's in the holes completely? The prongs have two teeth that should catch.
IT's really about working on mobility!
I called them but only b/c it had been more than 6 weeks and no belt, but this was around Xmas.
They have a PR belt that runs about 150 I think.
Thanks Pete! Great minds think alike.
Beast, looking forward to it making appearances in your videos.
You can buy one with the buckle instead.
Just ordered a purple one and a maroon/silver one!! I am so excited :)
awesome!
Glad you like it! Wish I got mine sooner.
Are you talking about the lever mechanism or the prongs that attach to the belt?
awesome timing.
mine just came in the mail today! out of pure excitement i rushed to set up the belt and put it on. i cant take it off now... it needs some serious breaking in haha
hah it gets easier!
