I've had two 13 mm lever action Inzer belts. I found just storing the belt coiled fairly tightly, along with using it, broke it in just fine. I stored it in a small-ish box when not using it. The box held the coil just fine. After a few months, the box won't be necessary. I never reverse-coiled, twisted, or otherwise manipulated either of them. That's all fine to do, of course.
@@daevidpp445 I have a 13 mm because I'm used to it and, if I had to replace it, it would be another 13 mm one. But, yeah, a 10 mm really is more than enough, along with being more comfortable sooner. Someone new to decent powerlifting belts should generally go with a 10 mm IMO.
Man I got stuck in the damn thing today trying to get it fitted. I set it way too tight and next thing you know I couldn't manipulate it and Inhake far enough to get it off. I actually almost started panicking. Fortunately I was able to just shove a screwdriver in there and compress it just enough to pry it off. That was not my proudest moment and was actually pretty freaky bc my mind immediately went to... Oh crap, I think I might have to go to the hospital to get it off(just moved to a new city).
@@InnerStrengthProducts fast-forward to present day, I get the thing on and off like it's nothing now... But oh boy, on that first go at it, it was rough 😂
@@RichM3000 oh yeah, the thing is easy to manipulate now, but maaaan when I got stuck in that thing. I literally went 😳, oh crap! I can't freaking breath!
They screws should definitely go in without any issues even on a brand new belt. Can you feed the screws into the lever when it's not on the belt? Just to be sure the lever/bolts aren't faulty. If that works fine then I find just slightly bending the belt while attaching the lever makes it easier to get the holes closer to the lever.
@@InnerStrengthProducts lmfao I got it off in the restroom but I almost passed out, no joke. However what I will say is the break in…way easier than imagined. Had it for about two weeks and I love it.
I just got my 13mm in the mail yesterday, I prefer a thick belt for heavy squatting but I definitely also had trouble getting it off lol. Took me about 10-15 minutes. I have a week to figure this thing out at home before my next leg day
Just got my Inzer belt and atomic straps i couldnt be more happier thank you guys!
I've had my 13mm for a year now. use it 2x week, still hasn't broken in, still bruises me. Endure and embrace.
The 13mm are very stiff for sure.
i doubt you're an olympic athlete or an elite bodybuilder/strongman, shoulda gotten the 10mm bud
@@daevidpp445Olympic weightlifters for sure do not use 13mm belts dumbass as well as bodybuilders 🤣

I’m assuming these tips would apply to a SBD belt as well
They would for sure, but the SBD belt doesn't normally need as much or any manual break in we've found.

The teeth can definitely be tricky to get off the first few times until you get used to pushing the ends together to release that hold.

@@dmora2386 It's easier once your used to it AND the belt is broken in. :)

cry a lot and be bruised is kind of just how i went about it
That's also an option!
Will breaking my 13mm help me put the screws in cuz they won’t go in

Dawg I was having a panic attack I couldn’t get it off in the gym it took me 2 hours to get off 😭😭😭
The first few times can be tricky for sure. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it!

are u okay bro?
I almost killed myself with the bucket belt, I couldn't get it off for awhile, lol. I didn't know you had to stretch it out...
We've known a few to get stuck in them the first time trying them on. It definitely takes practice.
Maybe rehearse this next time?
Thanks for the feedback.
