My grandmother was the first woman to be a supervisor at Bell during WWII. My granddaddy worked there too.

I worked in Plant Protection at Bell, 1957. Their ARDC, Air Research Development Command was only
overshadowed by "Miss Bell Aircraft", Ginny Johnson.
