Cannot WAIT for Primal to arrive!!
The minis look great. Can’t wait for the unboxing!
Looks great. Thank you King!
I am so excited for this to arrive can’t wait to paint and play
I'm pretty impressed. For what I paid for the game, if I get this quality miniatures, I'll be very happy. Hope the game comes as good and I'll be saving for their next KS.
Those look awesome, getting excited again to get my cop
Amazing work! is there also coming a video on the rest of the components? :)
At this point I wish more companies consulted with you. Great feedback you provided there.
These look absolutely stunning. Looking forward to painting them.
I really hope you like them! :)
THANKS KING :) LIKE ALWAYS FROM TIME I'VE STARTED WATCHING YOUR CHANNEL EVERYTHING COOL ON PLUS.
Been waiting for this forever! Though a little disappointed i didn't get to see some of the cool box art or some of the organizers, inserts etc. Minis look fantastic though!
Yeah I was hoping to see it all: the cards, boxes, rulebook. Models are fine but I really wanted to see it all.
Looking forward to the game!
Oh what, another box? lol.
The snake reminds me of plastic doggy doo doo.
Looks great, whit some luck it come then we finish up our Oathsworn campaign (at chapter 13 now) :)
Waiting for this Primal forever, but KOA, can you also cover what's happening with Limbo Eternal Wars 1.5? Hope this is not another Mythic Games or Blacklist Games =(
This is still THE GAME I've been waiting for! Hopefully shipping will go smoothly.
GAH I CANT WAIT I WANT THE GAME
These look great. Glad they consulted with you and can’t wait for it to arrive
Excited for this. I'm curious if this will arrive before my Mythic Battles which whale backer has had since November.
Jesus, the game is finally coming.
Man I late backed this very late and even I feel like I’ve been waiting for it forever. Glad for those who backed the original campaign, y’all have been waiting for a LOOOONG time
I was able to finish college before it was ready to ship 😂.
2nd KS after Frosthaven started it all. Over 3 years.
Hello I'm new to mini painting. I was wondering if you had a suggestion for a set of paint that would be good to paint these monsters.
Vallejo model color or game color or AK interactive both have good paint ranges for miniatures. Both of them should be slightly thinned with water to make them smooth and go on thin. Do some youtube searching to learn good l habits about priming and painting but either of those brands should steer you right.
Mine is showing up this week omg 😮 So if you had to choose between SFG Monster Hunter vs Primal which would pick?
Hi, KOA! Can you do an update on LSG! What's going on!?!?!?
My game arrives tomorrow! I'm very excited - thanks for your work on helping make these top notch. Quick question - I believe these are PVC plastic? I've heard that PVC minis can be hydrophobic and difficult to prime and paint - any insights into what to expect here? I'm experienced with painting both warhammer plastics, resins, and gunpla, but not so much softer board game minis.
Yes they are PVC, though with ABS as well.
Warhammer is HIPS plastic and Gunpla I believe is ABS.
These will prime and paint fine. As with all plastics, there's a large variance in actual final chemical structure and quality. So you can have PVC so soft it'll bend 180 degrees. Theses are not them :) It'll prime and paint up just fine. Do prime them though! Brush on prime+paint can work, but sometimes there's a release agent (or your own skin oils from touching it) that can cause the paint to run off otherwise.
@@TheKingofAverage thanks!
Can you PLEASE to paint videos on these?? For this game would be sooo awesome.
This guys probably got years worth of painting to do, like myself.
@@warpaint9385 same. But this would be a particularly cool game to paint. Even just a couple or one of his favorites would be appreciated
Have you played the final game yet? Is there going to be a review of the final game coming soon?
I would love to know if there is a youtuber who would do painting videos for these minis as i am a beginner and would not want to mess up and put the best quality i can do on them
They won't be doing these minis but for a beginner painter I'd heavily recommend looking up tutorials on dry brush paint techniques. These monsters have a lot of lovely texture and dry brushing is very beginner friendly and does lovely work bringing out this kind of heavy texture detail. Artis Opus youtube channel is an expert in dry brushing, just don't buy in to his very expensive brushes and products he sells. They are high quality products but you absolutely dont need expensive tools, just some good guidance and practice.
I’m still happy I backed MHW over this one as they were running at the same time and I could not justify both of them. I still hope I get the opportunity to play this game though. I also hope it is received well once it arrives in everyone’s hands.
Dear diary, jackpot.
The miniatures looks great and crisp , the bases are a bit disappointing and feels really soft compared to the monsters
I get that the big monsters are one of the key points of the game. But it's the reason I'm not getting it. Owning a 3D printer and tones of better designs that what PVC allows, I'd be proxying every monster, so it makes no sense for me buying that much of wasted plastic...
It looks fantastic though, would love to try it.
With which files will you have that good mini this big 😊... and you ll need a lot of filament ?
@@fredericcourcy1915 Believe, there are HUGE monsters in the STL market for 3D printing and they are awesome, the level of detail and personality in some of the creations from Parasite Collectibles, Bestiarum Games, Claymore Miniatures and such are amazing. I'd be using a resin printer. Yes, it'd take time and a lot of resin, worth it for me since I enjoy doing so. I'm currently playing a fully proxied Oathsworn
What plastic is this, doesnt look like normal one and doenst look like HIPS either O.o
Why you called in an "unboxing" if you're just showing miniatures. Very misleading. An unboxing is the whole game.
Because that's all that's worth showing in a video. Don't need to waste 20-30 seeing a bunch of card packs.
I second this. Would've loved to see all the contents and not just the models
Im with you :) on this one
Really want to love this game, but I just can't get past how much I don't like the card artwork. I don't particularly like the art style and frankly, really dislike how the cards are mostly a boring white background. For what is ultimately an incredibly expensive card game, you'd think more focus would have been given to the cards themselves. It seems like that focus was put almost entirely on the miniatures instead. I've been on the fence (for years!), but I think that I'm going to pass on this one.
Mechanic people will love the teamwork and movement impact + high customization in the character build/equipment and card play
Table presence will be please by the monster board, character board and miniatures...
Everyone there taste and I personally thought the same thing for the card visual design... after playing a lot on TTS I did get past it since the card brings me the mechanic en choice and the board the awesome look 😊
You did save a lot of money 😂 which is nice 😊
@@fredericcourcy1915 Actually, you're dead wrong! Maybe not about the card art, but about me saving money.😜 I caved and pledged the core. I watched a recent gameplay video and it does look like a game I'd enjoy, I wanted to convince myself not to get it, but I failed ☹
@@bhelmore1 ahahahah :) poor wallet ahahah
Went all in before playing tts because of the mechanic and was on the people who thought standies would have been fine (especially since I don't paint) :P
I'm on a similar boat but my wallet hates me a little more ahahahah
