Oh yes!! I can't wait to watch yours Paul! I think you'll enjoy this one the hand management makes the game super fun! Even at 4 player due to the assist abilities!
Ok, we got the game, and have been looking for DAYS for a video to help us do the first prologue mission. Should have known you would have the best one by far.😃
Great Fun Colin! I was a bit scared it would be overly complicated in the end. Great that the rule book is good. Love painting monsters and these looked so gorgeous together with their art. :D Have a great day and looking forward to your and Bairnt's campaign :D PS: somehow a great idea that they got rid of long distance movement. Hate if you are too slow to even get in range and waste a turn as happens in some games. In the end it is only the positioning relative toward the enemy that really counts.
Thank you so much for watching!! I agree the removal of distance was a very cool! Wasn't sure it would work but so far its been implemented quite well! Mirah with her long range attacks etc.
Thanks Colin. At first it seemed like there were a lot of moving parts, and couldn't get into it. But then it clicked. I like how the "reaction" mechanism, which means there isn't an AI turn as such which keeps the game flowing. Looking forward to the campaign. Hopefully will be able to catch you both live a couple of times
PAUL!! It would be amazing to have you join live, I always enjoy having you on those streams!! Hopefully you can make some of them and as always thanks for watching!!
Awsome playthrough, almost flawless! Mirah was on fire (literally), but that volley damage + buff was a killer, so much damage. Looking forward getting my copy.
Great video! Question about the Deadly Shot card, at 47:09, would the mastery effect of the card also trigger as you mastery just got charged in that turn? The way I understand is that you can perform your actions in any order, eg, play red card -> volley 1 -> discard Bouncing Shot -> volley 2 -> charge mastery -> blind from Deadly Shot Also at 53:43, should there have been an additional damage from Ljonar's Attack Plan card? So that Mirrah's mastery deals 6 damage instead of 5?
@@MeetMeAtTheTable I figured out my mistake. It *is* multiplicative but I was confusing Weapon Level with Weapon Damage. Mirah got +6 x[1] from the card because it was a Level 1 bow. Just wanted to let other viewers know where I messed up!
Great video and awsome AI for the Boss! Looks like a very fun game, but too expensive due to the minis, that in my opinion are not necessary to play the game.
I'm only been painting Warhammer and Marvel Crisis Protocol minis for about a year - anything i need to know or do differently to prime these minis? I usually use rattlecan spray primer, usually AP or Citadel rattlecans
Rule question: Every time you activate a Boss's action card, you replace it immediately? The space it was in does not remain empty until the end of the player's turn?
I am extremely interested in this game after watching a couple playthroughs. Have you tried the non-combat portions yet? I’m a HUGE KD:M fan, but didn’t get hooked by Oathsworn. Curious how they compare to these and other similar games.
YES! We have actually played the first 3 chapters now. The non-combat is OK nothing like Oathsworn. It is a pre-scripted story and is not nearly as appealing as Oathsworn. This game is much more about the combat and less aboout the story. Crafting items is fun though, and we didn't have that in Oathsworn.
The game play looks more promising compare to MHW. I played the whole campaign of MHW once and I think the design is a bit lazy. Can’t wait to my copy of Primal.
The hand management is so AWESOME!! I am excited to compare the two games as I have both. But right now Primal is looking to be the better designed game for sure! Thanks for watching!
Of course, you love Mage Knight. No doubt, you love hand management :) I have all-in MHW and still waiting for an errata before going for the second campaign. But I hope SFG did a better job during development. I will have to wait few more months before Primal arrives at my door step as I'm living in Asia region 😢
@thapananawapramote955 I too also have all of monster hunter and an awaiting the errata as well! Excited to give it a go but do think Primal is likely the better game. Can't wait to showcase MH on here as well!!
Given its a card game with almost no monster movement, seems like they could have downsized that monster mini, or make it a cardboard standee and it would still play the exact same. Game box would be half the size and about $80 retail. What a bloated approach to a game
I just agreed to cover this game myself too, so this video will help me learn it.
Thanks for doing it!

Two of my favorite channels covering the same game is great news indeed!
Whoot whoot!!!
@paul, have you released your playthrough/review yet?😊
@@Gwendor19 gosh no. The game just arrived. Unboxing video first :)
YES! So excited for this amazing content. Colin you are legend.
You my friend are a LEGEND! thanks for watching Derrick!
Great playthru - crushed it. This game has been worth the three year wait!!!
Couldn't agree more!!! So excited to continue the campaign!!

Great play through, good sir! I love the artwork on the player cards. Can’t wait to see more of this game.
I'm with you the art on the cards is awesome!!
Thanks for the help with the rules! Two laaaarge boxes just arrived and looking forward for the play with my kids.
Yeeesss!! Glad to help and have fun it's great!!
Awsome playthrough, almost flawless! Mirah was on fire (literally), but that volley damage + buff was a killer, so much damage. Looking forward getting my copy.
The combo was kind of insane right???? I had so much fun with Mirah and Ljonar just adding that buff was icing on the cake! Thanks for watching!!
Top notch! Killer painted mini too.
Thanks so much!! Great game!!
Great playthrough, can’t wait for mine to arrive.
Hopefully soon!! Thanks so much for watching!!
Great Video! Thank you! And your Minis look awesome!
Thank you so much!!!
So excited for this one! Thanks!

You are correct you can do things in a certain order so likely I was less efficient! Thanks so much for watching!!
Thanks for the video 🎉 I hope that the game will be delivered soon, here in Germany 😊
Fingers crossed it shows up soon!! It's a keeper for me that's for sure!! Thank you for watching!
Laut update bei Kickstarter sollen EU und UK ab Ende April bis Ende Mai beliefert werden. Dauert also leider noch...😢
End of April will come quick I PROMISE :)
23:00 Shouldn’t Mirah’s attack do 15? That card appears to say “increase damage by 6 [weapon]” which would be 6x2?
It increases it not multiply it? I would have to rewatch it don't remember at this point!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable New player learning the rules here so you must be right, thanks for the correction!
@clayicus enjoy the journey my friend the game is GLORIOUS!!!!!!!!

@clayicus boom there we go thanks!!!
Great video and awsome AI for the Boss! Looks like a very fun game, but too expensive due to the minis, that in my opinion are not necessary to play the game.
Totally get that! The mini is not needed but it does make it feel like a boss Battler!
Great playthrough, I cant wait to get this delivered. For now, I will play TG: Kings of Ruin
Oooo I am excited for when that one shows up! I played the original but was turned off by the menhirs. Hoping they fixed that in this one!
Great game! Glad i went all in!
Yes!!! I'm excited for the rest of the stuff to come too!
Well done!
Thanks!!!

Shouldn't need to do anything different for these!! Have fun and thanks for watching!
A helpful video!! With stealth, I understand it doesn’t engage behavior reactions from the boss but does it count toward your own sequence?
You've got it!!
Thanks so much! This is my go-to video for reference and entertainment haha
@adamhelsel3469 awesome! You rock!!
SOOO EXCITING!!!!
The game is SO FUN!! Thanks for watching Dan!
Wow, um, I play heavy games (like Eclipse), but there seems to be a LOT of little things to remember in this game.
Yes just a few haha! Triggers are the biggest things I think! Thanks for watching!!
You need to make Bairnt read off the names of minerals and such from the player sheets ;)
Now THAT is the greatest idea I've heard all day!!
Rule question: Every time you activate a Boss's action card, you replace it immediately? The space it was in does not remain empty until the end of the player's turn?
I wish! No it is immediately replaced. If another card would activate and you replaced with a rampaging card, it triggers!
Should your ultimate shot have had a +1 at the end as well? Or maybe the other card wasn't on top of the discard anymore?
I had to discard to play so it wasn't on top of my discard! At least I think that's the case!! Thanks for watching!!
Why do you add background sound which is louder than the person reading ? aside from this, nice content, I'm looking forward for the res
Huh didn't seem too loud to me! Thanks for watching!

Crafting is my jam, which is probably what left me wanting in Oathsworn. Thanks for the reply! Love your work.
@jakecrowe3797 thank you so much and yes that's what I was missing in oathsworn as well!!
Easy win for the hunting party!! 🎉
That party was cruising!!
Super fun.
Thanks for watching!!
Not a game for me, Colin, but thanks for the playthrough nonetheless!
Appreciate you still commenting!!

I can see that for sure! I do love the mini though as you are fighting a monster and it certainly feels like it! Thanks for watching!
Definitely think I like the look and theme of Oathsworn compared to this
Totally get that!
