At the end, the questioning is to simulate the choices geralt made in the previous games. These choices will affect this game and depending on the choices, you will either get some bonus quests or not.
GREAT beginning. I would just advice you to put the camera in combat "by default" in the options to have the original dezoomed view while fighting, it is far more practical than that closed up view added.
Wanted to leave a comment for anyone who wants background lore but doesn’t want spoilers if they are not familiar with the IP. (sorry I’m a nerd so it’s gonna be long) in the Witcher 3 you play as Geralt of rivia, a seasoned Witcher. Witchers are men who were taken as boys (as unethical as it sounds) and trained and mutated through monster dna to become something akin to supersoldiers. Witchers have been dwindling for a while now due to the way they are created being pretty lethal and horrendous. Geralt starts the game travelling with vessimir (his teacher and father figure) to find Yennifer, a powerful sorceress and lover to Geralt. It’s mentioned a couple of times in the game but the conjunction of the spheres is pretty much the start of everything important in that universe. Pretty much what happened was 1500 years before the story, all over the planet, portals opened to other worlds dumping monsters into the world, Things like vampires and trolls, leading to the creation of the witchers and introduction of magic. Another important piece of Geralts life is ciri, a girl who he has helped to raise and train as a Witcher. Ciri is also tied to a prophecy related to the conjunction of the spheres. It is told to her in a vision that she will either save or destroy everything due to her having “elder blood”, the elders being several magically powerful races that predated humans. Lastly there’s the wild hunt. A group of otherworldly warriors who Geralt actually rode with for a time to save yennifer from them before the beginning of the first Witcher game. Im gonna be watching this series so if asked for I have no problem doing more lore dumps. And if I got anything wrong please let me know in the most insulting way possible. Can’t wait for more Davo!
If you're not 100% deadset on not reading walls of text I'd recommend you do so. A lot of lore, info that will help in quests etc. I've always been a multiplayer gamer. I thought people who played campaign games were not real gamers. Just a shit mentality. This was the first campaign game i played. I lost a bet and playing through this game was my punishment. I loved it so much. The DLC's are the best DLCs I've played (I've since played A LOT of singleplayer games).
I've had this game sitting in my steam library for a while now, but I've been waiting to play it until I get a new PC soon to run it well. I've heard that this is one of the best games of all time.
Goated🙏🏻 You should definitely do all the side quests, at least most of them, because that's what makes Witcher 3 so special. Still has the best side quests of any game I've ever played. Without them, the game is only half as good (still a 10/10)
Gwent is so fucking awesome if you take the time to master it. You can pick up new cards in shops or beating NPC at gwent games or tournaments in game.
Hello, I am an old gamer. Played this game only since 2015. Over 2000 hours. There are 15 endings to hopefully end up with the 3 best endings for the main game and 2 more disc to follow. Best tip- take your time to explore and check everything. Use Witcher sense constantly, use quen constantly. Walk more, just almost as fast. I will watch all your vids if you get this going right. Remember that in your main menu, go to tutorials and it at any time will tell you all the things you need to do for button controls . Just stop for a few minutes and read these instructions-PLEASE,PLEASE . GOOD LUCK ON THE PATH!
PEAK! AGAIN! GIVE THIS MAN A MEDAL! Also, Im so proud of this game being made by Polish devs, we really deliver on the games lately lmao Ps. To be fair, game is waaaaay easier on Keayboard and mouse but you do you haha PS. Bro... PUT SOME RESPECT ON VESEMIR!!!! Also, Dendelion, Triss and multiple other people are LITERALLY Geralt companions from Witcher 1 and 2 or from books. Like I said should have played 1 and 2 before, now you gonna be like a kid lost in the mist. Better read up on the glossary about characters or you might make some dumb decisions XD
Always check out the notice boards first, bro. They reveal important locations and give contracts and quests! You missed so many things. Side quests are king in this game. You missed improved swords, improved armor, a really nice witcher contract, a couple of small quests. Alchemy is important. You can craft your healing potion that refills on rest. All that in White Orchard!
Your comments. Are so right on. I am an old gamer, and now have tuned into many new players, playing for the first time. They all rush headlong into this and just figure that slash and hack is the ticket. They donot know what a RPG game really is. This should look like a smooth playing movie, not a jerky, run around in a big rush. Character development is what the 125 hours of play is required to do this game justice and to finally find out what the best game EVER made is all about! I hope he decides just to start fresh again and start white orchard again. If I recall, about12-15 hours of actual ply time if done in a proper manner. Many play the easy mode and thus donot ever know how MUCH they have missed out. How do they call themselves gamers? Here’s hoping that Debo can hang in and slow down to enjoy a real game. Good luck on the path!
This game is absolutely incredible, the quality and size of it feels almost impossible, especially for 2015. There were open-worlds as big, but they didn't look as good and didn't have the story to match it. Granted, it apparently took people sleeping at their office to finish it, but it was clearly a passion project. Be ready for impossible dilemmas and having to make choices between two equally bad options ;)
Witcher 3 is awesome. I got all the achievements playing on Death March, and honestly think it's the best difficulty to play on, and should give it try. It's very similar to the difficulty you choose, with the only difference being (that I am aware of) that you take more damage. It's something like 3 hits to kill you instead of 5. Everything else is the same(as far as I know), and it's extremely fair unlike most "impossible" difficulties. But because the game is more punishing on Death March, you NEED to utilize all of the games mechanics to survive, and become intimate with all your spells and potions which was really cool. Researching every monster before a hunt to ensure maximum survival likely hood was something I didn't have to do on the lower difficulties, but when I caught myself nose deep in the bestiary on Death March, it made me feel like a real witcher when playing. Anyway, enjoy the game. It's a hell of a ride and a lot of fun. And if you start finding things boring and little to easy, don't be afraid to flick up the switch. Death March might just be what you need. Peace ✌️
I'm always amazed how little those graphics have aged, you can see it sometimes... but there's not a game where I've seen better sunrises and sunsets (meditate till 3 A.M. or 6 P.M for best views :)
Seem that you started a long, amazing journey so I'll just say this - you're not gonna get this advice from anyone else, but it might be the best one you'll ever take - turn off the Horse GPS. That white dotted line? It's useless... (You _are not_ gonna get confused). But your exploration will get twice as exciting, at least it worked like that for me. Gamer to gamer - try, you won't regret it and will never look back :) Isn't walking on a compass better in Elder Ring? Percisley this.
when the monsters do big attacks you need to dodge with the roll. this isnt eldenring. for the mot fun in my op you need to loot everything!!!!! so you can sell and get money/new potions and bombs. at the end you chose what you did in the witcher 2
he really asked if this was the 90’s 😭
That hurt my soul, I'm not gonna recover from that one. 😭
american education
This guy just be playing all my favorite games 😭
Bro for REAL, I’ll be back to watching another full series again oh boy
This game has some insane storytelling.
Dude I'm so hype for this. Never thought you'd pick this game but I'm so glad you did, it's in my top 5. Can't wait!

Small tip, if you want to play on harder difficulties, get used to always have Quen active, it will eat at least one full hit, which helps a lot.
this is my sign to actually finish Witcher 3
Let’s gooo you are in for a treat!!
u gotta loot everything, as long as its not front of guards. hoard it all
These guys got the most drip, AND they have a cool name?! We'll, I'm definitely morally flexible enough to join them at any cost!
Beyond stoked, this is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Think you’ll love it.

yoo I just beat witcher myself now i can watch this lets go. This game has peak writing and the dlcs are incredible as well.
Those questions at the end were the: simulate witcher 2 save it's the important choices to be made in 2
not him just straight skipping the tutorial pop ups ; _ ;
Can’t wait for the rest of this series
My favorite Witcher ability: Queef
maybe for lady witchers heh heh
Might be the first game you’re playing that I haven’t
Pick up everything, you'll need all of it in crafting/alchemy, you can get overencumber3d but it takes a lot and you'll be able to sell surplus
Bro does not miss🙏

when the monsters do big attacks you need to dodge with the roll. this isnt eldenring. for the mot fun in my op you need to loot everything!!!!! so you can sell and get money/new potions and bombs. at the end you chose what you did in the witcher 2
