Glad to see the workshop made it through the storm. My family and I also live in an RV and I also have a lot of tools and have been considering doing something similar. It’s a very inspirational build
You were the first UA-camr I started watching many many years ago and I suddenly remembered you and here I am I absolutely love your channel I’m glad you’re doing good Marty god bless you brother ✌🏻
In a past video you mentioned a piece of advice from a friend on the importance of spending a little time to keep tools clean and organized. I started doing that at the end of each day in my garage and it really does help with making the next day go smoother. Now you mention oiling the air tools and I realize that’s another thing I’ve been forgetting.
I know this is not a realtime video, but I want to say again, I am so glad you were safe last week up in Jacksonville, I also hope when you got back the workshop was safe. thanks for posting even though you are not in a stable place... PS: a suggestion about your venting set up. You should probably have air ingest low and have an air out at the top of your setup (hot air rises ) so the heat from batteries will otherwise be trapped at top of workbench, while the cool(er) air can't be pulled in.)
Very Very cool, you are awesome. Best shop I've ever seen. Been wanting to tell you please be careful of alligators on your kayak while on the water and snacks. I would never hurt them, just don't like them. I live in the Sierra foothills ca. Please be safe my friend. John
Thanks for the content Marty. You have taught me to have more patience and think further ahead when constructing stuff. You have given me great ideas throughout the years. Keep up the great work your workshop is looking awesome Cheers
Looking good Marty! Tidy job of boxing in the battery compartments. I did wonder how you are going to keep those trays from sliding out if on the move - same will apply to the drawers when you make them. Somebody got me a DeWalt 12V drill from the USA about 30 years ago (I'm in the UK) and it lasted well, but eventually the batteries died. I bought a set of genuine replacements but think they were old stock - they didn't last long. I bought a pair of Chinese ones from eBay with a little reluctance, but so far, they have been great. Stay safe & well. 👍👍
Cut a piece of pink 150 foam board the size of your picnic table and adjust the circle saw appropriately and you can use that to cut on- a couple of clamps will help
Looks 👌. The main thing I'd do differently would be to build a rolling battery cart with the inverter and charge controller that I could set outside the trailer when I wanted to. I'm not sure how I'd isolate it from the cable running through the trailer wall, so that a fire couldn't spread up the cable and into the trailer. Having certain things inside makes me nervous
You should see how people tuck away all those components in van builds, I've seen people permanently mount all of it under their wooden bed frame lol. I'm getting ready to install a decent size setup in a little utility/laundry room in my tiny house and even that makes me a bit nervous tbh. I'd love to have it all be in a block building away from my house but then I'd need to do climate control on that as well which would require an even bigger solar/battery setup.
Something I have gone by when organizing is a philosophy that if you have things in every nook and cranny then you have failed. When you are done storing everything you have, there should still be about 20% empty space, because before you know it THERE WILL BE MORE STUFF. Always.
Where did you get the tracks that you insert you tackle boxes in to your storage bin? I enjoy your workshop video's, takes me back to when I was young and building.
Hey Marty, do you think the fan that cools off the battery compartment could use a filter? I’m thinking it’s going to get dusty especially in a workshop and dust can act like insulation possibly causing overheating. And it’s hard to get in there to vacuum. .
Marty just casually builds the universe! Ok you got me man… did you oil the gun because your air compressor requires oil or is it because even in oil-less compressors you still need to lube the gun?

You’re my spirit animal Marty. Love the dedication to the craft. Wish I were smart enough to spend the time like you do instead of watching you do it.

Hey...you appear to have fixed the shutter sync issue you we having with those LEDs. Good job!!!
Well...mostly.
It still plagues me now and again. I try to film with a static shot or with the lights off nowadays.
Glad your safe! Also, your videos are never too long. Actually, make ‘em longer!!! 30-40 mins at least
6:47 Never had any luck with knockoff batteries...ever..
Great video as usual and you must have the best hair on UA-cam (you gotta share the secrets at some point)
Hey Marty your shop is comming whell ! and now no SH...T will hit the fan (JOKE) Marty keep up the good work!
You’ve pretty much made the perfect man cave….
Where did you get the tracks that you insert you tackle boxes in to your storage bin? I enjoy your workshop video's, takes me back to when I was young and building.
Sweet vice….

Wont the grain of the plywood pieces going in different directions bother you?
Hey dude, I wish my shop was as organized as yours! What did you use for the slides that your organizer boxes rest on, aluminum angle?
for the first project how about a Tiki statue
Marty just casually builds the universe! Ok you got me man… did you oil the gun because your air compressor requires oil or is it because even in oil-less compressors you still need to lube the gun?
LoL Super-speed-slow talking 😂
This has to be something filmed before Milton and just posting, not a word about hurricane damage?
Did you not see the previous video ??
First view first comment first like 🥳
The vice is not placed correctly.....
