@@alexandrealves2877 yes, I have heard that a vast majority of Gracie students are really bad in some schools, and I am not talking about colored belts. Like they promote them too quickly for the wrong reasons.
Renzo is what it's all about. You can just see how proud he is of his students. Gives them the right openings and rewards good decision making during rolling. Not hard to see why he's turned out some of the best Black Belts in the world in No-Gi and MMA.
Renzo is a great guy and even better fighter. I trained at his main academy in NYC for two years. This video makes it look like he teaches the classes, but he doesn't. I've never seen him roll with one student in the academy, which is fine, he had like 5 of his legit black belt cousins teaching. He would drop by and see how things were, but you don't get to roll with Renzo, unfortunately.
Renzo is probably the coolest Gracie ever. No gigantic ego, no menacing attitude, just a laid back, but deadly guy who doesnt take himself too seriously. 👍
that's great jiujitsu renzo Gracie and a great teacher and super funny.. had the privilege to meet him a couple of times and his brothers and nephews there all great people.. mad respect for all Gracie family oss
What a beautiful video the most beautiful part is seeing those children sitting in a circle watching!! 👊🏼👊🏼 I believe every child should train in the arts!
I do t care what people say all these Gracie’s are class acts in my book. They’ve had a lot to prove and they did. I’m almost 60 and wished I practiced jujitsu when I was younger , but I’m going to start learning and have this for my last push in life.
He's on another level. Passing the gard at the end like that and tapping a brown belt like that within 5 seconds is just amazing. He is a genius artist.
Who wouldn't want to train with Renzo. He's fantastic. Wish I could have a teacher like him. He makes it so much fun by being so effortlessly brilliant and having fun.
@@blake3one6 my old instructor in Dallas was Carlos Machado. I swept him once. he just goes "i forgot about that one" and then smashed my soul out my butthole in slow motion for 6 minutes.
So damn cute. Children are such a great blessing. I just really love the amazing job the Brazilian Jujutsu teachers have done with making children and women so happy and comfortable training in the art.

Perhaps by pushing and being harsh a teacher might make some students better competitors (or not), but by being how Renzo is here, a master makes all their students LOVE Jiu Jitsu. That's a real master.
Renzo came to the dojo I used to train at in Fall River MA with sensei Don Banville for a seminar. There were maybe only 10 other people. It was around the time he was in pride fighting Sakuraba. He was the nicest guy with the craziest stories and always smiling, same as always. And I still remember a couple of the moves he showed us. Wish I still had the photo
Thank you give your life to Jesus Christ he loves you repent and have eternal life with God the Father in heaven and God the Son JESUS Christ and the Holy Spirit believe and be saved

Rolling flow and teaching with love and humor. Legend, Master, Teacher, and Friend! Those that get to roll in such a fashion are blessed. The blue belt female showed good skill too! I loved the comment he made that I he feels sorry for her husband - he acknowledged a warrior female. Brian rocked too! Going against a legend and rolling with distinction. Renzo went really high in top mount - he has nothing to prove and everything to teach. No ego. /respect
As a kid from Alabama, I desire nothing more than to be in the room with some of these bjj legends in my lifetime, and be considered amongst the elite with them. Keep grinding. OSS!
Several years ago Charles Gracie got promoted to a Red Belt and it was like a who's who of Gracie's that showed up. Renzo, Rickson, Ralph, Clark, Rigan and Jean Jacques, as well as I think two of the first generation guys (Helio and Carlos' brothers). Maybe the only big name that couldn't make it was Royce. It was kind of surreal. Renzo is exactly like he appears in this video, kind, playful, funny, seemingly no ego.
A true master of grappling. The brown belt did great, and the escape from the armbar/ triangle hold was awesome. Renzo's personality is great, and rolling to give his partners a chance to show their stuff is cool as hell, but you can see when he turns the heat on, especially with passing guard.
if you look closer Renzo let go of the holds before he locked then in.I guessing he did not what to embarrassed the brown belt but he could have finish the fight 4 5 times if he whated to
Renzo is just feeding the students here. He can end it at any moment, and basically does so with the brown belt. As soon as it was enough, he just ended it. A Master teacher. Letting his blue belts tap him is priceless sensory absorbtion. That lady held that arm kinda long though. I think Renzo had to tap twice. Eeeeasy there.
Great escapes and transitions. I think he was gonna try to arm bar from S mount towards the end. But that bullfighting stack and pass was beautiful. Really awesome roll to watch.
6:55 Kick ass counter move, I'll have to check that one out - then if it feel right to me, I'll have think about considering putting it into my curriculum..
