My heart was shattered after Paige admitted to not liking cats. She immediately backtracked her statement but I’m not buying it. The damage has already been done.
Yeah sorry my cats happiness comes first and I work around it. It wouldn't be acceptable to pretend your kids don't exist either and give them nothing lol.
Great video. My sister-in-law has a high bar table in her kitchen but it seats 8. I always feel like I'm at a Chillies when I'm sitting there. Also..the ghost chair comment killed me.🤣
This is not meant to give any shade to Paige but I don't think that anyone likes the look of pet furniture. But please keep providing your pets (cat, dog, any animal) with all the things they need to thrive and be happy. If you are a pet owner you have to be responsible and give them what they need. It's not a matter of aesthetics. And having had both cats and dogs with no preference I can say they are both equally clean. It's when you don't want to put in the work that your animal needs that you get the problems. And if you don't want the work then you should be responsible enough to not get a pet. So please get all the cat trees, dog beds, and toys you can to keep them happy and healthy. I wish the interior design community would stop giving shame to people who are putting the needs of animals before aesthetics and instead show good solutions to incorporate the furniture with the overall interior.
Thank you! And there are definitely grown-up looking cat trees out there to be bought. I don't think the non cat owner designers have tried all that hard to shop for cat trees.
@Kaitlynn p totally, I think ignoring those who live in your home, animals included, for aesthetics is sad. It's everyone's home. I've found a couple nice cat trees and beds. My cats give me so much by just existing, they deserve it lol. I imagine she at the very least had a dog bed for her sweet doggy before.
I love interior design but I wish I had bought more cat trees for my cat instead of only caring about my home looking like a magazine. Cat trees are amazing because since most cats don’t go outside that’s a way of keeping them healthy, happy and entertained. When you own a pet the house also belongs to them so it’s fair to have things around that show a cat/dog lives there.
Oh yeah, when you have pets or kids, your magazine quality house is going to have to accommodate them. But at that point you just accept that the pets/kids are the priority, and you don't worry about it.

I think you should discuss all the reasons why people end up with the grey sofa. I think people get overwhelmed when they have to design from a blank slate and gravitate towards "something that will go with everything" because they have no idea where the room is going to go or they want it to look "new" ... To their great detriment.
I was going to buy a new sofa, but my son boomerganged back and brought his grey one with him. Then he moved out, left it and said it wanted it back in the future. As I'm selling, it suited the room and I didn't care, I left it. Is that a good enough reason?
As someone who has a few cats, cat trees aren't smelly at all because I take care of them and I want my cats to feel at home here, and anyone who loves their cats treats them as family so of course they make sure the space accomadates them. We have cats and dogs, so cat trees help a cat to have their own space, to eat away from dogs, and away from dust on the floor, etc... it's healthier for them, to look out windows etc...
Favorite moments: Beetlejuice reference "A tufted leather bench is an enemy of mine." "Chicago people just out of college" "I don't know if you need a painted palm tree blowing in the wind coming out of your dresser." "If you own those, sell those." You're amazing and this roast was super fun!

The oval mirror at 2:45 I think would look much better hung horizontally. (Maybe they are afraid to hang it because it's so heavy? Just get the right hardware.) It would fit the architecture of the wall better, and not detract from the items on the dresser. But it's hard to judge the scale here. If this is a bedroom and that's a functional mirror it might be too high if hung the other way. For a cat person and their cat, that is a pretty nice setup. Maybe have only one of the trees, the taller, less cluttered one because it's at the same scale as the other cat perches.
Paige could you do a video on rugs? Maybe affordable options/what to look for or avoid? I have the fake vintage Wayfair rug and wanna go a different direction but have no idea how 🥲

The big gold mirrow is like the gate in STAR GATE 😂
I liked it! Your hair and skin look so good! Glowing!
The couch broken up into pieces 😂 dead
“little chair ghosts” 🥺🩵
this is hysterical
I loved this. You should defo do reviewing homes i love!
Paige could you do a video on rugs? Maybe affordable options/what to look for or avoid? I have the fake vintage Wayfair rug and wanna go a different direction but have no idea how 🥲
She’s just gonna say to buy a vintage one. She has linked some from Etsy that she likes.
I loved this roast so much that I'm committed to submitting my own apartment and back garden before the summer ends.
😂you had me cracking up! Fun roast!
i needed this
i can feel the intensity increasing and pity the victim at the end of this video haha
The volume on this video is perfect 🙏
Little chair ghosts - I am DYING! 😂😂😂
I'm thrilled at the number you managed to go through. Honesty is always welcome. Solutions are even more appreciated.
Cool video!
😁
Please more of it.
I like the pixely picture tho.
And the scandi looking cat kitchen/dining room.
And the "most hated" living room with the blue sectional, plants and light floor.
..Aaalways sectionals, plants and light wood!!
😂😂
I think the reaso why you saw so many sectionals there was bc. there maybe were many European homes. In Europe everybody has them. At least in middle and northern.
A non-sectional is a "half sofa" here.
🤪
Paige!!! I would love to see a video on interior paint colours/styles/trends (other than, you know, the arches haha)
