Why SimpleHuman's Soap Dispenser is WORTH THE MONEY
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 сер 2024
- The SimpleHuman Pulse Pump costs 20x your average soap dispenser. It has a sleek design, is well marketed, and well made, but is there enough improvement over the traditional soap pump in order to justify it’s higher cost? We’ll take you through whether or not we think its worth it, how much of a difference having an easier-to-use pump, with abetter designed nozzle and refill basin can make.
And we'll also take a look at when it's good to go for a product like this that costs way more than the competition, why these products seem to cost so much in the first place and why brands like SimpleHuman spend so much on advertising with their products.

I never thought I would watch a review of a soap pump. Pretty good, wonder what other interesting products you have next.
We never thought we'd review a soap pump! This video is an experimental type of explainer/review hybrid video. Glad you enjoyed it, we do have some more interesting videos like this on the schedule.
@@6MonthsLater oh dang, looking forward
Josh, what an excellent design! I would love to not have soap dripping onto my granite countertop and people with marble countertops can permanently stain their marble.
The drip and clog free reverse-flow valve on it is pretty ingenious. Even with the soap that doesn't work as well, I've gotten it to where it doesn't drip onto my bathroom counter like the cheap soap pump I had since college did. - Josh
@@6MonthsLater I might have to buy one of these, Josh
I certainly don’t regret it, I can’t recommend all of their soap pumps like the ones with rechargeable integrated batteries but come with no battery recycle or exchange program. the pulse pump is easy to recommend though.
I want a soap pump at my kitcstopper hen sink to decant my Dawn dish soap into. Presently I utilize an oil bottle. It looks lovely but after years of us the cork on the dispenser topI is all funky and super slick such that I can’t use it.
I wonder if it’s functional for my Dawn or I just look for a new cork deipenser top.
Question does this product rust?
This seems like a solution without a problem
Looked to me that when using the SoftSoap the reverse pump didn't work as well and some soap leaked. At about 1:30 in to the video.
Correct, depending on the soap you put into it, it can drip more than the soap Simple Human designed to work the best with their nozzle.

The Soap - Too Thick
I prefer "Foaming Soap".
I rinses off Better too.
@@6MonthsLater
What "Precisely", would that soap be ?
Thick and Gooey, or Foaming.
I noticed now there is a txt comment about the issue and raised but I don’t recall seeing that initially. Did you add the txt later? Or did I miss it when I made comment?
Nope, it was there originally (UA-cam is pretty limited with what you can add once a video is published). The shot did go by kinda quick. Under normal use it’s actually something I don’t notice since my hand is so close under the nozzle, I don’t personally experience dripping with that soap but in slow motion shot it’s definitely more noticeable.
I have a garbage can from simplehuman, never knew I could love a garbage can so much lol
Is it the one that uses voice commands?!
SAME
You love it due to the high price you paid.. if there was a same product from another company at a cheap rate you wouldnt feel the same..
Can’t open
I have 3 of them and the head get stuck after a while and does not retract automatically, maybe due to hard water or something else clogging the bottom of the head where it retracts. I had them warrantied twice and now I'm about to give up on them and try something else. I would not recommend them at all as it seems a faulty design.
Maybe an occasional vi gear soak would help.
Ehh, just buy their automatic dispenser. It's very good. Have 3 of them.
I like their automatic soap dispenser better
In my country cost $90 dollars lol
I bought two and neither would work properly. Disappointing 😞
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST THO
A while
The soap dispenser at 1:27: 😩
I had the automatic sensor soap dispenser from simple human and it wasn't good at all. I got one from Amazon with a high rating and it's been really good.
Kind of disappointed in simple human automatic sensor soap dispenser.
I would like it. My Husband is washing, (Over washing 😏) His hands seemingly, Constantly, and always makes a mess.
Of course buying the particular Soap I prefer which comes in a Despenser of its own would Still be necessary 😟.
To me, Worth it - to my Husband 🤔 !
I can ask 🤷♀️.
Thanks Josh,

Non-foaming soap dispensers seem super soap-wasteful to me now. (Note, I refill mine with a soap:water ratio of about 1:5)
Their automatic toilet flusher is awesome. I really like their product that turns my shower on for me, too.

The problem: it looks like a trash can.
