To all folks on a budget: please keep in mind some of these cards are using 8x not 16x PCI 4.0 ... If you are still on an older system with PCI 3.0 you lose alot of performance with a 8x PCI bus. - like on the 4060TI.
Exactly.. That's why 3060 is still a better buy than 4060 for pcie3 system
what is PCI ? thnk you
I love that you are blunt and not all soft spoken and overly polite. Good video. :)
I'm team DaVinci and have been so for about 5-6. I'm really thinking about adding an Intel card to my setup for AV1. I have the case space and airflow plus I have the slot on the mobo.
I need to build 2 pcs... 1 for gaming streaming and video editing(60%gaming, 40% content creation), the second for my gf for photoshop maybe blender and gaming ( 75% production 25% gaming)... and is very hard chose the right gpus... buy this gen?buy older waiting new gens? An old used gen gpus for next time buy news one? HELP?!!?!! TY 😊
Waiting for 5090 + Arrow Lake to build a high-end gaming PC! 😎
same!
Great content for creators. Thank you!
why there is no Intel card in the second half of the video?
I'm so happy with the A770 16 GB, it absolutely ROCKS for video editing. I'm surprised this isn't talked about more as it's blowing the competition out of the water.
In which program? Premiere pro?
Yes , Beats the 4070 just as fast and more memory. @@mrrexy4151
And it just keeps getting better, I have to give it to Intels driver team , every time I think they are finished with optimizations they come out with a driver with a %15-%40 improvement. I was posting benchmarks , but I would have to update them all twice a month or they are irrelevant.
Hi , I need a PC for video editing .I will use premier pro , after effects etc .
My budget is 80k .
What specifications should I buy ?
Please help me
Thank You
Running the r7 5800 with the 7700xt editing on davinci resolve n also playing around with EU5 n so far so good, nothing to complain
Wow you can do both at the same time cool
@@alpiasker nooooo,u can do both individually, not at the same time
Your Videos are always Helpful, please keep doing good work 👍🏼
i was in nvidia i wouldve released a 3060ti like performance card with 12gb vram. theres nothing in nvidia that even comes close to 6700xt in PTP but as much as i love 6700xt i cant buy it because it doesent perform in productiviy campared to nvidia
great content! earned yourself a subscriber
Nice video. Now I have a question, when using CPU core i5 13600K and GPU rtx 3060 12GB and RAM DDR5 32 or 64GB, will my timeline play smoothly or jerky in DaVinci Resolve Studio? Videos will be from FHD to 4K 60fps from the DJI Osmo Action 4 camera
It should be smooth
As someone who bought a gaming rig with an RTX 3070ti I can tell you having only 8gb Vram sucks for davinci. Definitely 12 should be bare minimum. Ideally 16. And get at least 64gb ram.
Brilliant video! thankyou such valuable information. This keeps me very questioning how would it be to stack 2 GPU's as a content creator? 2x Intel Arc or 2x RTX 4080 super against a RTX 4090
Very impressed on how far Intel has come along with the Arc cards and makes me hopeful for the Battlemage GPUs.
(Even though I just got a 4080 card not too long ago xD)
All great info for comparing cards but I always struggle trying to figure out what will be best for my workflow. I am looking to do a system build this spring (before May). I am super new to DaVinci Resolve. my current setup lags when I am scrubbing my gopro 4k footage, and holding me back from quicker edits and then exporting h.265 is super slow! That's all I really want to be efficient. on, which combo of CPU and GPU is most cost efficient.
If you are using free version of DaVinci Resolve, it wont utilize your GPU for video decoding when dealing with h265 (GoPro files). So I would recommend upgrading to Davinci Studio.
@@RealTechnoPanda I do indeed have paid. I have a 4GB rx580 and a 3770k with 16GB Ram so an update is needed. Do i put more into CPU and use Intel or balance CPU and GPU price? Better to go 14600k with a770 or 14900k with a750? Or lower CPU and more money on an nvidea GPU?
14600K + A770 will be perfect. Please make sure that the resizable BARs are enabled. You will be able to do that from your motherboard BIOS
@@trudgyhd14700k and a770 would be my choice.
this information its a gold mine, i have now the RTX3060 12gb, but... im gona know whats its the best for UPGRADE today... you recomend sell my graphic card and go for a 4070? i have ryzen 9 3950x
and what about the 3060 and 3060 ti? when it's comes to davinci editing
Great Channel!! Keep it up
Great video and keep up the good work
Is 4070 super is worth buying? Im going to use i9 14900k with 32 gb ram for productivity and gaming
I have the same question, i am confused between 4070 super, 4070ti and RX 7800xt
13:42 the 4070 Ti Super is an almost perfectly balanced card for it's price 799. But if you on a tighter budget, definitely the 4070 Super. 4060 series is an insult from Nvidia to be honest! I think if Intel can do more improvements in another driver update, a770 will surpass 4060 Ti, it has already surpassed 4060.
So should I take intel 1770 ???? Or which one
What about AMD RX 7800 XT? In some benchmarks it outperforms rtx 4070. I'm just not sure if it's stable enough.
Amd are not recommended for editing and 3d work
Amd gpus are only good for gaming
@@zalaajay0314 No, let me explain.
1 month ago an uruguayan youtuber named Guille Ghemi uploaded a video called "THE TWO BEST 2024 GPUs COMPETED: RTX 4070 Super vs RX 7900 GRE". In that video he compares both GPUs not only in gaming but also in productivity with animation and design programs like Enscape, Maya, SolidWorks, Blender, etc.
I suggest you to activate the automatic subtitles translated to English to understand it, but in summary: AMD support in Blender is getting better and better, this is all thanks to the implementation of HIP and HIPRT. (Nvidia is still performing better but AMD is not far behind right now.)
He also tested several CAD programs and in most of them the 7900 GRE performed better. In CAD Catia and SiemensNX the 7900 GRE gave a beating to the 4070 Super, while in Autodesk Maya and SolidWorks they were neck and neck but the 7900 GRE won.
*Today more than ever it is totally feasible to do productivity works with AMD, even with 3D animation.*
AMD seems like a good price point choice being pretty cheap while still hanging with the 40 series cards
I think that the 4060 and 4060ti were held back by their 8 gigs of VRAM.
I think they should have added 4060ti 16gb version.
The problem of 4060/4060ti is not low VRAM, but low memory bus which is only 128bit, in consequence of which low memory bandwidth: 272GB/s for 4060 and 288GB/s for 4060ti. They also have only 8 lines of PCI-E 4.0, and if your motherboard got PCI-E 3.0, then the performance of these cards will be even worse.
Meanwhile the 3060 got full 16 lines of PCI-E 4.0, 192bit memory bus and 360GB/s memory bandwidth which is very helpful to beat 4060/4060ti in video editing even with a weaker GPU.
4060ti with 16GB VRAM has the same problems as the 8GB version: 8 lines of PCI-E, poor memory bus and bandwidth, so the result won't be so drastic compared to the 8GB version. Better to increase the budget a little bit and buy a 4070 instead.
Hello sir 2024 mea 3070ti better hea kya
IM USING 3060TI RIGHT NOW!
Same and works perfect Resolve 🎉
I am from India. I need budget GPU for my ryzen 3600 32GB DDR4, Tomahawak MSI Mobo machine. At Present I have Nvidia 960 gpu.
Thanks for the video, but my mind confused a little. I am editing usually 4k video via premiere pro and after effects. I just bought with my low budget i5 13400f with 64gb ram, unfotrtunatelly I am using that desktop pc with my old 1050Ti GPU, so I am looking for a budget good card. I was thinking to buy 3060 12GB GPu but it seems Arc A750 8gb has performs on premiere very well too. Should I push myself to buy A770 16Gb for my works?
That would make more sense the v-ram buffer will reduce render times at not that much more cost
Yes, I would encourage you to get A770. 16GB VRAM makes a lot of difference.
Yep. A770 for the win.
I use Sony Vegas Pro 18 with just using the 14900k IGPU. Works great with simple 4k editing and previewing the edited video. I am tempted on going with the A770 for it, but I don't really need it as well since it's pretty smooth as is. I, also, have ddr5 64gb of ram.
Just Ordered the RTX 3070 Ti Super for 800 Euro!
Is the 4080 able to do 4K video editing including denoising and vfx without running out of vram in DaVinci Resolve?
I have never run out of VRAM on a 16GB card. But if you are using crazy codecs and lots of LUTs, yes you can run out of VRAM
@@RealTechnoPanda Thanks! Appreciate the reply.
Please rate my PC build. I'm a professional Video editor but doesn't have a good enough budget.
i5 12600k
Arc a750. (It's way cheaper than a770 in India)
MSI PRO B650M -P (DDR5)
(8gb x 2) Vengeance 3200mhz
Some Corsair 550w power supply
1 tb nvme WD blue SSD gen 4
And some Antek cabinet
Total for $820.
Suggest me any changes necessary!
9:24 Had me laughing when I converted it to hindi 😂😂
I have an evga rtx 3080 ti that I've had for a few years. Would this be a good card for 4k editing?
Ofc
I go with the Rtx 4080 super🔥
question will 10 bit 422 slog footage be hardware accelerated on Adobe PR if I have a ryzen cpu? can I pair one with my old r52600 and b450 motherboard?
No. It will not be hardware accelerated. You need Intel CPU. Check the table here www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/what-h-264-and-h-265-hardware-decoding-is-supported-in-premiere-pro-2120/
@@RealTechnoPanda apologies, i meant to ask if Quicksync would work if I pair IntelArc with ryzen cpu 😅
What about amd rx 6700 xt? Reply please🙂
I wont recommend it
definitely wait for another 6 month

Sir is 3060ti worth buying rn for video editing ?
RTX 3060 is better because of 12GB VRAM
Hello sir, Intel Arc a750 can be good for video editing and also gaming ?
Its OK. A770 is better
@@RealTechnoPanda thanks
