Surprisingly sober ending... :( There was a children's book back in the '90s Pokémon heyday called Don't Laugh, Charizard! where Charizard kept accidentally setting things on fire whenever he laughed. Maybe that's why they're so gruff and serious all the time!

Depending on how dry the climate is, Charizard could cause a forest fire with an action as simple as waving its tail too close to dry plant matter.
Not every forest fire involving a Charizard always involves a flammenwerfer.

Yup, I think the pokedex got that thing wrong. Charizard uses his fire breath where he wants to.
Also I read that Mega Charizard X is much more agressive and destructive that he would even attack weaker opponent and not give a s****.

If you put thought into it Charizards would make perfect companions to Saiyans they are so much alike Saiyans and Charizards have so many similarities between them.

Until you realize, diamonds are flammable. (There's also a dex entry that says it can burn through solid rock.)

@@CaptainComedy I had mixed feelings for Gmax Charizard at first. It was a clear sign that Charizard is being milked. But that angle makes it look like that Charizard was meant to be a Kaiju.
I liked the design since it was revealed tbh. My only gripe is that it's a 4th Charizard form (Most alternate forms for any one Pokémon added in later gens, tied with Meowth, funnily enough).

@@13AxelRoxas Many other Pokemon are overused. Greninja literally got its own form linked to the protagonist, while Delphox and Chesnaught got nothing. Mewtwo has 2 Mega Evolutions whilst other Legendaries like Regigigas and even Zekrom are barely relevant anymore. Pikachu is Pikachu.
These Pokemon, specifically Starters alike Charizard, are given special treatment because they're dear to the hearts of many who started out with them. While I agree, giving Charizard *two* Mega Evolutions is a bit excessive when the whole trio could've obtained the same, Gigantamax is completely fine as it is, Blastoise and Venusaur wouldn't get additional formes as well.
Still, I don't think this is a good reason to hate a Pokemon, this's Gamefreaks own bias towards a Pokemon they consider lovable in their eyes, not the fans that love these specific mons. Greninja isn't bad because of Ash Greninja, quite the opposite. Mewtwo isn't awful because of X & Y, it is a memorable Legendary that deserves them. Pikachu isn't bad for being Pikachu because he is just the mascot, its like getting angry at Sonic or Cloud for being in their respective games.
Charizard isn't bad for his presentation in the series, he is still a equally awesome & badass Pokemon as Venusaur/Blastoise are, and one that has held Pokemon on his shoulders since RGBY. Though, disliking him is your own opinion, and I won't go against that.

Charizard. The OG fire starter and to this day still one of most popular pokemon on the planet. What an absolute UNIT of a beast it is that it's whole life revolves around battle.

Since Versiris asked which Pokemon we would like to see in the next video, I propose Lucario.
I mean the pokedex explains the other reason why charizard wouldn't listen to ash. It only fought things that were really strong
Guess it also explains red, alain and leon charizard's listen to them
For one that and on the other hand, many of the badges were just handed to Ask without a propper battle. Think Sabrina and Misty

I hear how Charizard’s tail flares in a whiteish-blue color before, but to actually see it happen, it really makes the animation live up to the pokédex.

Great job Versiris! I think you did a particularly good job framing your shots in this one. A lot of them gave off a really powerful/epic vibe, especially those last two.

Right?! I totally agree. I especially love how dynamic that Leon shot is (1:51). The huge change in scale from a closeup of him to a super wide view is so well done. And the foreshortening in the “fisheye” ending of that shot is great. Glad other people appreciate this stuff 🎥🤝🎨

The stats would be much more helpful if they were in metric *as well.* Feet and Fahrenheit mean absolutely nothing to me.
They are. At the beginning when I shows all the stats together, in the height and weight category it shows metric height and weight as well
